Jason's Penthouse:
Sonny:(hands Stefan a drink)And just what have you got against the 
Jacks' brothers, Mr. Cassadine.
Stefan:The younger one stole a company from me and the older one is 
trying to steal my wife. Is that enough for you.
Sonny:Look, Mr. Cassadine, I really don't need you help. I've got the 
situation well in hand.
Stefan:I could see that when I saw you spread across a billboard naked 
advertising yourself as the Embodiment of Sin.
Sonny:I was wearing a sheet.
Stefan:But what were you wearing underneath it. I'm aware you only did 
it to help build-up Deception so it will be inviolate to a takeover 
attempt by Mr. Jacks, but if you were working with me you wouldn't have 
had to debase yourself so.
Sonny:You seem to be forgetting one thing, Mr. Cassadine. 
Stefan:And what's that.
Sonny:I'm Luke Spencer's best friend, not to mention his partner in 
Luke's.
Stefan:Spencer has nothing to do with this.
Sonny:I don't think Luke would see it that way.
Stefan:Look, Mr. Corinthos, I'm not asking you to swear a blood oath to 
me. I'm just suggesting we join forces to deal with the Jacks brothers. 
You're only attacking them from one direction, but i can attack them 
from many directions and together we can take them down in half the time 
it'll take you to take them down alone.
Sonny:I don't know.
Stefan:Think about it, Mr. Corinthos. You can have your war with the 
Jacks over and done with. But without any real financial threat to 
yourself. Not to mention you won't have to have any more embarrassing 
photos of yourself taken. All you have to do is work with me. Do we have 
a deal?
Sonny:Tell me something, Mr. Cassadine, why are people like you always 
making me offers I should refuse but never do.
Stefan(smirking)Is that your way of saying we have a deal?
Sonny:Yes, Mr. Cassadine, we have a deal.

V's Apartment:
Lois(sipping a cup of tea)I'm glad you've decided to accept Sonny's 
offer.
V:I've never lived in New York. What's it like?
Lois:Oh, it's great. You'll love it. There's always something to do. And 
you won't be a stranger in a strange town, either. I called my ma and 
she and my pop and my brothers are going to make sure you don't get a 
chance to feel lonely or alone.
V:You didn't have to do that. I don't want to be an imposition.
Lois:Oh, you won't be. My parents are always making people honorary 
members of the Cerullo clan. Just ask Sonny. They pretty much adopted 
him as one of their own when he was a kid.
V:They must be thrilled they're going to be grandparents, again.
Lois:Actually, they don't know, yet. I thought Sonny should be the first 
to know, after all, he's the one who knocked me up.
V:You still haven't told Mr. Corinthos he's going to be a father, yet?
Lois:The right moment just hasn't presented itself. I mean, the night I 
found out, I brought you home with me, and I think when I tell Sonny it 
should just be the two of us. Then after the photo shoot at Deception, 
Sonny and I almost got in a fight over Brenda, so that definitely wasn't 
the right time.
V:Can I offer you a piece of advice?
Lois:Shoot.
V:It's been my experience there never is a right time, unless you make 
it the right time.
Lois:I think you've got a point. Mind if I use your phone?
V:Be my guest.
Lois:(picks up the phone and dials Sonny's number)Hey, Sonny.
Sonny:Hey, Cerullo, I was just about to call you. I guess great minds 
think alike.
Lois:Can we meet at the apartment, tonight?
Sonny:This is getting spooky. I was just about to suggest the same 
thing. Actually, what I was really going to suggest is since Carla has 
moved out and since the Q's have accepted Tracy back into the family 
fold, that there's no reason for you to remain at the Quartermaines and 
that we should move into the penthouse together.
Lois:Sonny, if we do that everyone's going to know about us.
Sonny:That's the point. This this has gone on too long as it is. It's 
time for everyone to find out about us. Look, Cerullo, I know were both 
dreading the fallout that's going to occur when we drop our little 
bombshell, but the longer we wait the worse it's going to be.
Lois:Sonny, can we put off deciding about this until, tomorrow. I want 
tonight to be just about us. There's something very important I have to 
tell you.
Sonny:All right, if that's the way you want it. When do you want me to 
meet you there?
Lois:Eight o'clock.
Sonny:Okay, I'll see you then.
Lois:See you then. Bye.(she hangs up)
V:Mr. Corinthos wants you to come clean with everyone, doesn't he? But 
you don't want to, do you?
Lois:V, I know Sonny and I can't keep the truth about us a secret, 
forever. But I just dread what's going to happen when we do. Thanks to 
that miserable little witch Carla, Brenda thinks Sonny's still in love 
with her. When she finds out I'm the one Sonny's in love with it's going 
to be a big blow to her. She's with Jax now, so it shouldn't matter to 
her, but I know it will. Then there's Ned. He doesn't even want Sonny 
near Brooke, so you gotta know how thrilled he's going to be that Sonny 
is Brooke's stepfather.
V:Gee, and I thought my life was a mess.

Jax's Penthouse:
Brenda(opens the door to the florist)Yes?
Florist:Flowers for Brenda Barrett.
Brenda:That's me.(she accepts a dozen red roses)Oh, Jax, darling, thank 
you for sending them to me. I'm going to go put them in water so they 
don't wilt.
Jax:Brender, I didn't send them to you.
Brenda:Then who did?
Jerry:(smirks)Why don't you look at the card.
Jax(as Brenda looks at the card)Who sent them? Read the card.
Brenda:I'm looking forward to shooting our commericial together. Sonny. 
I'd better go put these in water.(she exits)
Jax:What a two-faced hypocrite. You should have heard Corinthos going on 
about how he only wanted Lois and now he's sending flowers to Brender.
Jerry:Sonny didn't send the, I did. I just signed his name to them.
Jax:You did what!
Jerry:What better way to stir up Brenda's feelings for Sonny than to 
make her think Sonny's sending her flowers. Brilliant, isn't it.
Jax:I don't like this, Jerry. Look, I want V, but I don't want to set 
Brender up for the biggest fall of her life.
Jerry:(coldly)Look, little brother, you don't want to dump Brenda 
outright. You don't want to hurt her by saying I don't want you anymore, 
I want V. You want it to end nicely. To set her free to be with Sonny so 
you can have V. But this is the real world. In the real world things 
aren't wrapped up in a nice, neat little packages like that. Even if 
things went exactly as you wanted, someone would still end up getting 
hurt. Are you forgetting that Lois is in love with Sonny. That if Sonny 
really wanted Brenda, Lois would end up getting hurt. It's just Brenda's 
bad luck that this time she's the one whose going to end up getting 
hurt. Just get used to the fact and get over it.
