Carla's Room, Port Charles Hotel:
Carla:So, I guess you heard about our break-up. Didn't take you long to 
come over here, did it? Who told you? Sonny?
Brenda:No, Lois did. She said you and Sonny decided to get a divorce 
because you didn't suit each other.
Carla(pours herself a drink)Did she really. Obviously, you didn't 
believe her or you wouldn't be here.
Brenda:I'm only here to find out if Sonny and you are getting a divorce 
because of me.
Carla:Why do you want to know. You're happily married so Sonny should be 
of no concern to you.
Brenda:I'm only asking because I'm worried Sonny might try to cause 
trouble between Jax and I if he wants me back.
Carla:You're so full of it. You're positively salivating at the thought 
of Sonny divorcing me because he's still in love with you.
Brenda:You haven't answered my question. Why are you and Sonny really 
getting divorced.
Carla:It's really none of your business. But I suppose unless I tell you 
what you want to know you won't leave. All right, fine. You're right. 
Mikey and I are getting a divorce because he's in love with another 
woman. Satisfied.
Brenda:I knew it. I knew Sonny was still in love with me.
Carla:Well, now that you got what you came for, you can leave.(she holds 
the door open for her and slams it shut behind Brenda as she leaves)
Moreno:(comes out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around 
himself)Carla, you are so rotten. How could you let her leave her 
thinking you left Sonny because of her.
Carla(smiles as she sips her drink)I never lied, Frank. All I said was 
that Mikey was in love with another woman. It's her problem if she 
assumes she's that woman.
Moreno:What if she leaves her husband thinking Sonny wants her?
Carla(smiles wider)That's her problem, isn't it. If I can take little 
Miss Supermodel down with Mikey and Lois-Marie, so much the better.

Jason's Penthouse:
Jax(pounds on the door)Let me in, Corinthos.
Sonny(yanks open the door)What do you want, Candyboy.
Jax:I want to know what you're pulling with V.
Sonny:So V told you I offered her a job, did she?
Jax:I want to know how you did it. How did you get V to turn on me, like 
this.
Sonny:It wasn't very hard not after she'd been exposed to you for an 
extended period of time.
Jax:Is there any depth you won't sink to. Using poor naive V to try and 
get info on me in some pathetic attempt to take me down. Well, it won't 
work. V won't betray me by telling you any of my business secrets. 
Sonny:You hypocrite. You're not here because I've stolen your assistant. 
You're upset because I've taken away your squeeze toy. God, when I think 
of you coming over here and acting like the outraged, jealous husband 
warning me to stay away from you waff and all along you wer getting it 
on the side. You make me sick.
Jax:I don't know what you're talking about.
Sonny:Save it, Candyboy. I know all about you and V. I know you seduced 
her in bed. Anytime I want, I can blow you right out of the water. I 
hope you stay away at night thinking about that as you cuddle up to 
Brenda.
Jax:You want Brenda back, don't you? And you're going to use this to get 
her.
Sonny(laughs)If I really wanted her back, I could get her, and I 
woouldn't have to expose you for the two-face cheat you are to do it. 
No, I don't want Brenda back. I'm in love with Lois. My future is with 
her. But I'm going to give you a warning. You leave V alone or I'll 
bring your house of cards tumbling down around your ears. You and I both 
know V is the type of woman you marry, not make you piece on the side. 
Well, you've lost V. The question remains do you want to lose Brenda, as 
well.

Port Charles Hotel Grill:
Lois:Why did you want me to meet you here, Bren?
Brenda:(can hardly contain her excitement)Lo, I was right. Sonny and 
Carla broke-up because of me.
Lois:What! What makes you think that?
Brenda:Carla told me.
Lois:She did what?
Brenda:She told me Sonny's in love with another woman and it's obvious 
that woman is me. Lo, isn't it great.
Lois:Bren, what difference does it make if Sonny's in love with you or 
not. You're married to Jax, remember. You love him, right?
Brenda:Of course, but it's nice to know, anyway.

Jax's Penthouse:
Jerry(watches Jax pace the room)What's the matter, little brother?
Jax:It's V. She's taking a job with Corinthos and leaving town in two 
weeks.
Jerry:Well, you know how you can stop her.
Jax:It's not going to work, Jerry. Corinthos doesn't want Brender. He's 
in love with Lois.
Jerry:Brenda doesn't have to know that.
Jax:Just what are you suggesting.
Jerry:When Brenda asked me about Lois, I played along and pretended we 
were lovers. She has no idea about Sonny and Lois. So the plan can still 
work. You can still make her think you're letting her go so she can be 
with Sonny.
Jax:But if I do that, she'll end up with no one.
Jerry:That's her problem, isn't it. Look, there are no guarantees in 
life. If she takes you up on your offer she's taking the risk of winding 
up with no one if Sonny hasn't made her any promises.
Jax:All right, let's say I do this. Do you think I could convince Brenda 
to leave me in two weeks time. That's the deadline I'm working on, here.
Jerry:From what I understand this Katherine Bell is planning to shoot 
photo layouts and a commericial featuring Sonny and Brenda, so that 
should be enough to stir up her feelings for him. Then at this big party 
at the Outback where Bell is debuting the commericial featuring the Face 
of Deception and the Embodiment of Sin, you can magnanimously let Brenda 
go to be with Sonny. It'll just be her problem when Sonny tells her he 
doesn't want to be with her.

Carla's Room, the Port Charles Hotel:
Carla:(opens the door to Lois)Well, Lois-Marie, as I live and breathe.
Lois:All right, Carla, what are you up to.
Carla:I'm up to many things. You'll have to be more specific than that.
Lois:Why did you make Brenda think Sonny's still hung up on her.
Carla:I did nothing of the kind. I merely told her Mikey is in love with 
another woman. I just didn't tell her it was you. It's not my fault she 
assumes it's herself. You know your friend, Brenda, reminds me of Mimi 
Van Johnson. You remember Mimi, don't you? I don't recall ever seeing 
her without her having two guys on the string at the same time. You 
know, she'd be dating one guy, but behind his back she'd be giving 
another guy the eye.
Lois:Brenda's nothing like that.
Carla:Oh, isn't she? Well, I think she is and I think at least once in 
their life, women like Mimi and Brenda should have the tables turned on 
them. And if I can do anything to make sure it happens, I'll be more 
than happy to do it.

Jason's Penthouse:
Sonny(opens the door to Stefan)Mr. Cassadine, what are you doing here?
Stefan:I understand you're waging a war against the Jacks brother. I'd 
like to help you bring them to their knees.
