Sonny and Lois' Apartment:
Lois(and Sonny enter carrying bags of groceries)So, you see why we can't 
tell Brenda about us, now.
Sonny:You mean because Jax is boffing V? What makes you think she 
doesn't know?
Lois:Of course she doesn't knmow. She's leave Jax if she knew.
Sonny:Would she? When I brought Miranda to town, she tried to use me to 
make Jax jealous and I think she's trying to do the same thing, now.
Lois:I can't believe you don't feel sorry for poor Brenda. She thinks 
Jax is her knight-in-shining armor and she doesn't have a clue he's 
betraying her.
Sonny:Excuse me, if I'm not enamoured of her at the moment. Because she 
put a bug in Katherine Bell's ear, I'm going to have to model with 
Brenda, ust like she wants so she can use me to make Candyboy jealous.
Lois:You could have said no.
Sonny:To stop Jax from taking over Deception, I have to help turn it 
from a stagnating company into a successful one and becoming the 
spokesmodel for Sin is the best way to do it, unfortunately.
Lois:Well, I'm not going to let Jax make a fool out of Brenda. I'm going 
to tell Brenda he's cheating on her.
Sonny:Cerullo, if you do you'll be making a big mistake. Do you think 
Brenda will thank you for telling her? Even if she does know about Jax 
and V, she's probably lying to herself that it isn't really happening. I 
know Brenda. She'd rather live a lie than face the truth and if you 
force her to deal with reality, she'll turn on you. She did the same 
thing with me when I showed her her fairytale life with Jax was just 
that, a fairytale. It wasn't real.
Lois:Well, I'll break it to her gently. I won't do it the way you do by 
bringing Miranda to her wedding just as it was starting. Bensonhurst, 
don't think I don't know why you don't want me telling Brenda the truth. 
If I do, you won't be able to stick it to Jax.
Sonny:Fine, suit yourself. But don't say I didn't warn you.

Jax's Penthouse:
Jerry(enters)Hey, little brother, where's the little woman?
Jax:Upstairs going through her closet. She wants to find the perfect 
outfit to wear at her photo shoot, tomorrow. She's real excited about 
modeling with Sonny.
Jerry:Sonny, eh?
Jax:You mentioned a way I could get out of my marriage to Brenda 
involving Sonny?
Jerry:So you've finally wised-up and picked V?
Jax:I haven't done anything of the kind. I'm merely curious what you had 
in mind.
Jerry:It's really very simple. You would encourage Brenda to spend a lot 
of time with Sonny. At the right time you'd tell Brenda you realize 
she's still in love with Sonny and let her go so she can be with him, 
making you appear to be noble and self-sacrificing and she'll never 
realize what really happened was that you dumped her for another woman.
Jax:Jerry, you're scary.
Jerry:I also know how to dump a woman with style. You should try it, 
brother.

Jason's Penthouse:
Sonny(enters)Where's Jason?
Carla:He took Carly out for dinner. Well, Mikey, it's your lucky day. 
You're finally going to be rid of me.(he notices a packed suitcase is 
sitting by her feet)
Sonny:What are you talking about?
Carla:I'm tired, Mikey. I've been thinking. Life's too short for us to 
be going on like this. We're both miserable and there's no need for it.
Sonny:What this about, Carla?
Carla:I'm letting you out of the deal, Mikey. I'm setting you free.
Sonny:What are you trying to pull, this time.
Carla:I can understand you being suspicious of me considering our past, 
but it's true. Do you remember you asked me the day we got married why I 
was marrying you? What was in it for me? Well, I'll tell you. You were 
in it for me. I wanted a second chance with you. You don't know how 
deeply I've regretted all these years you hearing that I'd made a bet to 
get you in bed with me. I was young and stupid and made the worst 
mistake of my life. And it wasn't until it was too late, that I realized 
what I lost. All these years I've wondered what might have happened 
between us if you hadn't heard what you did. But I see now there'll be 
no second chance for me with you, because you love Lois-Marie and 
nothing is ever going to change that.
Sonny:Carla, I don't know what to say to you.
Carla:There's nothing you can say. My feelings our my problem. But I 
don't want to keep you and Lois-Marie apart, any longer(she picks up her 
suitcase)I'm going to be moving into the Port Charles Hotel. I'll let 
you handle the divorce. You can contact me there with the divorce 
papers.(she walks towards the door, pauses before opening it and looks 
back sadly at Sonny)Goodbye, Mikey. Lois-Marie, is one very lucky 
woman.(then she exits)

Jax's Penthouse:
Lois(enters)Where's Jax?
Brenda:He said he had some business to conduct. Did Sonny tell you about 
our photo shoot, tomorrow?
Lois:He mentioned something about it.
Brenda:You will be there, won't you.
Lois:You couldn't keep me awar. Bensonhurst playing model. That should 
be one sight to see, especially if they tell him to take off his shirt. 
Bren, I need to talk to you about something. It's going to be hard for 
me to tell you this, but you've got a right to know the truth.
Brenda:This sounds serious.
Lois:It is. You'd better sit down.
Brenda:What is it?
Lois:I came by to visit you, earlier, but when I stepped out of the 
elevator I saw something I wish I hadn't. I saw Jax kissing V.
Brenda:So, Jax is V's friend.
Lois:Bren, it wasn't that kind of kiss. Friends don't stick their 
tongues down your throat.
Brenda:What are you trying to say?
Lois:Honey, Jax is having an affair with V.
Brenda:That's a lie. Jax wouldn't do that to me. Why are you trying to 
cause trouble between us.
Lois:Bren, I know what I saw and you have a right to know about it. I'm 
not telling this to hurt you. I'm telling you this so Jax doesn't make a 
fool out of you.
Brenda:Lo, I don't know what you saw, but you're obviously 
misinterpreting it. Lo, I love you for wanting to protect me, but you're 
wrong. Let's just change the subject and forget we ever talked about 
this, okay?

Port Charles Hotel:
Moreno:So how did it go with Sonny?
Carla:I played the love sick female who was making the ultimate 
sacrifice and setting her man free so he can be with the woman he truly 
love to the hilt. The arrogance of men sometimes amazes me. You tell 
them you love then and they buy any slop you hand them.
Moreno:I think I'll ignore that slur on my gender. So, what's next.
Carla:Have you found out where Mikey and Lois-Marie are meeting?
Moreno:You're never going to believe this. They've rented the penthouse 
across from Morgan's.
Carla:They've been meeting right under my nose? Oh, I bet they both had 
a good laugh at my expense over that one. Well, we'll see whose laughing 
when I'm through with them.
Moreno:Have you given up your plans to takeover control of Morgan's mob?
Carla:Hardly, now that I'm in a position of power, I'll be in a better 
position to stage my coup. In fact, I think it's time I met with the 
other mob bosses and feel them out about this.

Dr. Monroe's Office, General Hospital:
Dr. Monroe:It's just as you suspected, Miss Cerullo.
Lois:Actually, it's Mrs. Corinthos. Then I was right? I'm pregnant?
Dr. Monroe:Yes, Mrs. Corinthos, you're going to have a baby. I can see 
by the look on the face that this is good news. 
Lois:I'm thrilled, doctor. And I'm sure my husband will be, too, the 
minute I tell him about this.(The doctor sees Lois out to the hall)
Dr. Monroe:Check with my nurse as you're leaving to schedule your next 
appointment.
Lois:Don't worry, I will.(as she's walking down the hall, she notices 
another examination room with the door ajar. She stops when she sees V 
sitting on the examination table.)
V:There has to be some kind of mistake. A lab error. Something. Maybe 
the test results are wrong. Why don't you run them, again.
Doctor:I've already run them twice, Miss Ardanowski, at your request, 
and they came out the same both times. I even double-checked the results 
to make sure there was no error.
V:No, it can't be true. I can't be pregnant.
