Stefan:What did you say?
Malcom:You and Mrs. Cassadine are still legally married. If you wish, 
I'll contact Mrs. Cassadine, immediately and arrange for this matter to 
be corrected, at once.
Stefan:How could something like this happen.
Malcom:That's the problem with these quickie divorces. Mistakes can 
happen. What do you wish me to do?
Stefan:Nothing.
Malcom:I don't understand. 
Stefan:It matters little to me if I still remain legally joined to 
Barbara, by law.
Malcom:But, Mr. Cassadine, what about you and Miss Bell? 
Stefan:Katherine and I are happy as we are. I have no plans to marry her 
in the near future. As for being still married to Barbara. It may be 
useful to me at sometime in the future.
Malcom:Then I take it you're not going to tell Mrs. Cassadine about 
this?
Stefan:Of course not. If she knew she'd wish to correct the matter, 
which would take away a possible useful weapon from me. No, this will 
remain a secret between you and I. Do I make myself clear.
Malcom:Perfectly, Mr. Cassadine.
Stefan:Excellent.

In A Car Outside of C&C Management:
Jax:Shouldn't we just go in and confront Lois about Sonny?
V:Jax, if Lois is in business with Sonny and she's keeping it a secret, 
she's not going to just admit it and tell us where Mr. Corinthos is.
Jax:I've got a feeling he's here. I can feel it in my bones. Sonny has 
come home to roost.
V:You told me that Lois is Brenda's best friend. Why would she go intot 
business with Sonny after what he did to Brenda?
Jax:Oh, he probably gave Lois a soulful look with his big brown puppy 
eyes and quivered his chin for good measure. I tell you, V, Sonny's a 
master at manipulating women into feeling sorry for him.

Inside C&C Management:
Sonny:Lois, we need to talk.
Lois:This isn't aboaut Jax, I hope. I thought we settled that, last 
night.
Sonny:No, it's about Brooke. Your mother asked me to pick her up from 
nursery school and drop her off at her place. Are you aware Brooke's 
telling the kid's there that I'm her father? Look, Cerullo, I love 
Brooke and I'd love to be her father, but I'm not. Ned is.
Lois:What's the big deal? As I recall you made up some pretty tall tales 
about Mike when you were a kid. For awhile there you had me believing 
Mike was a secret agent off on a spy mission.
Sonny:I did that because I felt like there was something wrong with me 
because I didn't have a father like everyone else. So I made up all 
these stories about how Mike wanted to be with me but couldn't because 
he was off saving the world so I'd fit in. I know what it's like to 
grow-up as a fatherless child, but Brooke doesn't have to. She has a 
father who loves her and wants to spend time with her.
Lois:Don't start this again, Sonny. If it was just Ned, I do as you've 
suggested on more than one occasion and give Ned joint custody of 
Brooke. But with Ned comes the Q's and I will not have my child exposed 
to them on a regular basis. They corrupt anything they touch. If I do as 
you ask, it wouldn't be long before they tried to take over.
Sonny:Look, Cerullo, I'm just trying to nip in the bud any potentially 
future trouble. If Ashton ever learns Brooke is telling her friends that 
I'm her father, not to mention that we're sleeping together, all hell is 
going to break lose.
Lois:You're not suggesting Ned would sue me for custody, are you?
Sonny:You've kept him from his child. I don't think Ashton would have 
any problem doing the same thing to you.
Lois:All right, let's say I do what you suggest. Don't you think 
Brooke's going to mention Uncle Sonny to him and how long do you think 
your whereabouts will remain a secret after that. You tuck Brooke in bed 
practically every night. If she thinks a monster is under the bed, you 
chase it away. And you tell her those awful Sir Sonny/Prince Candyboy 
stories. She's going to mention you.
Sonny:Just do the same thing you do when Brenda's around Brooke.
Lois:That hasn't been a problem. Sonny, Brenda's changed. You wouldn't 
even recognize if you saw her, now. Her entire world revolves around her 
perfect life with Jax. She's quit modelling and she hasn't seen Brooke 
since she was an infant. She has only one goal in life. Pleasing Jax and 
being the perfect wife for him.
Sonny:You sound like you're describing my mother after Mike walked out 
on her. It's my fault, isn't it? She's become what she has because of 
what I did? I really thought I was doing the right thing. You didn't see 
her when we were on the run in Tiger Key. She couldn't handle it, but 
she still thought it would be different if she went on the run from the 
mob with me. That we were going to lead this fairytale life. You know 
with Brenda reality is not a concept. And I remembered after I married 
Lily the way she stalked me, so I thought the only way to get her to let 
me go was if she hated me.
Lois:Sonny, you're not the only one to blame. Jax is by no means an 
innocent bystander in what Brenda's become, either. If Jax had stayed 
away from Brenda and let her handle things by herself after you left 
instead of trying to do everything for her, she might be different, 
today. She just got so used to Jax making everything easy for her, that 
she's become completely dependant on him.
Sonny:But you said she's happy. You know she and Jax really are a lot 
alike. Jax isn't anymore into reality than Brenda is and he always 
seemed to enjoy doing everything for her, so maybe they've both found 
the perfect relationship for themselves? Maybe everything has worked out 
for the best.

Outside C&C Management:
V:How are things going with you and Brenda? You told me you have a hard 
time talking to her.
Jax:Lately, I've been trying to get her involved in some kind of outside 
interest. A hobby, charity, you name it, but all she wants to do is buy 
clothes to make herself beautiful for me and throw parties to help me 
impress my business associates.
V:A lot of husband's would like that in a wife.
Jax:Well, personally, at times I find Brenda a bit cloying and 
suffocating. Maybe it's a case of be careful what you ask for because 
you just might get it.
V:Oh, look, isn't that Ms. Cerullo?
Jax:Yes, and she's not alone. That's Sonny with here.
Sonny(and Lois hold hands as he walks her to her car)Oh, I forgot to 
tell you. You mother wants us to have dinner with her, tonight, and I 
told her I'd check with you to see if you have any other plans.
Lois:That sounds great to me.
Sonny(opens the car door for her) Good, your mother is making my 
favorite. Lasagne ala Cerullo. I'm already getting hungry thinking about 
it.
Lois(climbs behind the wheel and Sonny slams the door shut)Ma's on a 
mission, you know. She's determined to fatten you up.
Sonny:Don't say it!
Lois:You're too skinny.
Sonny:You said it.(he leans in the window and kisses her)I'll see you 
tonight at your parents house at eight.
Jax(sneers)Well, I guess we know why Lois hasn't told Brender she's in 
business with Sonny. It's obvious they're lovers.
Sonny(waves as Lois begins to drive away)Love yan.
V:What are you going to do now you've found Sonny?
Lois(leans out the window and calls back)Love ya, too.
Jax:Set a trap and spring it on him. (he glares hatefully at Sonny as he 
walks back inside the building)
