Emergency Room, General Hospital:
Bobbie:Are you nuts?
Kat:It's true. Stefan found out there was something wrong with the 
divorce. There's no official seal on the decree. You're not legally 
divorced.
Bobbie:And just how long has Stefan known about this.
Alan:Bobbie, you can sort this out, later. Right now we have to get 
Stefan in surgery so we can save his life.

Backroom At Luke's:
Sonny(is shooting pool when Jerry enters)What are you doing here?
Jerry:(carrying a bottle of brandy)I always come to you everytime you 
score a victory against me and share a drink of one hundred year old 
brandy with you. You know that.
Sonny(knocks a ball into one of the side pockets)It wasn't you I scored 
a coup against, it was your brother.
Jerry:(pours them both a glass of brandy)Same thing. (he hands a glass 
to Sonny) I remember after the fiasco at the Plaza where Jax exposed 
you, you said you were going after Jax and you'd take no prisoners. Was 
today just a one-time thing or are you going to make a habit out of it.
Sonny(sits on the edge of the pool table sipping his brandy)So, that's 
why you're here. To find out what I'm going to do next.
Jerry(sipping his brandy)Of course. Whatever happens to Jax will happen 
to me. I'm looking after my own welfare. You'd do the same.
Sonny:True. Let me tell you the fallout I've had to suffer because of 
what your little brother did. To save my life, I've had to marry a 
maneating virago. A woman I've detested since I was a teenager. Now ask 
yourself if what I did today was a one-time thing. Would it be for you 
if Jax had done to you what he did to me?

Waiting Room, General Hospital:
Bobbie(and Kat wait while Stefan's in surgery)So, Katherine, tell me how 
long Stefan has known we're still married?
Kat:I don't know for sure. When I was planning our wedding he was forced 
to tell me.
Bobbie:And did he tell you just what he planned to do about it?
Kat;Stefan said he wanted to divorce you quietly without you knowing 
about it. He was afraid if you knew the two of you were still married, 
you might try to fight a divorce.
Bobbie:As if. No, Katherine, I think Stefan was selling you a bill of 
goods. I don't think he had any intention of divorcing me. If he had, he 
would of told me about this. No doubt he intended to keep it a secret 
until he could find a way to use it against me.
Helena(enters)What happened to my son?
Kat:Stefan fell down the stairs.
Helena:Just like me beloved Stavros. Where is he?
Bobbie:In surgery.
Helena:Who gave them permission to operate.
Bobbie;I did.
Helena:Well then, if history repeats itself and this hospital kills 
Stefan the way it did Stavros, I'll know just who to blame, won't I?

Port Charles Hotel Grill:
Bartender:(to Carla)That's her.
Carla(looks over at Brenda)Brenda Barrett Jacks?
Bartender:One and the same.
Carla:Thank you.(she gets up and goes over to Brenda's table)Mrs. Jacks, 
do you mind if I sit down? (she does so without waiting for an answer)I 
thought to avoid future difficulties we should speak.
Brenda:Who are you?
Carla:Oh,how silly of me. I'm Carla Solieto-Solieto-Corinthos.
Brenda;Corinthos?
Carla:Yes, as in Mrs. Michael Corinthos Jr. Sonny and I just got 
married. Oh, I'm so sorry. That must be a real sore subject with you. I 
mean, Sonny married me, but he wouldn't marry you.
Brenda:The best thing that ever happened to me was Sonny leaving me at 
the altar. Because of that I'm now married to Jax. Frankly, I pity you 
being married to Sonny.
Carla:Well, it's true Mikey is no day at the beach. But just between us 
girls, have you ever met anyone who oozes sex the way Sonny does. I 
mean, one look at him and you know he knows how to satisfy a woman in 
bed. I wouldn't blame you if when you're in bed with your Jax if you 
didn't start thinking of Sonny and what it was like to be with him.
Brenda(testily)Just what did you want to say to me?
Carla:I just wanted to make sure you're not still carrying a torch for 
Mikey and I can see you're not. By the way, is it true you and Lois 
Marie Cerullo are best friends? I find that so strange. I mean, you're 
both in love with the same man and all.
Brenda:If by that you mean Sonny, Lois got over her crush on him long 
ago and Sonny never returned her feelings.
Carla:Oh, really? Well, I'm sorry if I disturbed you. I'll just let you 
get back to your meal.(Carla returns to the bar)
Bartender:Well, did you find out what you wanted to know?
Carla(hands him a twenty dollar bill)Yes, indeed I did. Thanks for your 
help(she looks at Brenda with a cheshire cat grin on her face)Oh, yes, I 
found out exactly what I wanted to know. It's perfectly obvious that 
little Ms. Supermodel doesn't have a clue about Mikey and Lois-Marie and 
I can't wait to enlighten her.

Waiting Room, General Hospital:
Alan(enters)Stefan is going to be fine. We were able to stop the 
internal bleeding and he should make a full recovery.
Kat:When can I see him?
Alan:You should wait until he comes out of recovery.
Helena:Are you sure my son will be all right?
Alan:As sure as I can be.
Helena:Well, then, I'll leave you to it. If his condition changes, call 
me. (she hisses to Bobbie)Remember what I said, Ms. Spencer. (she exits)
Bobbie(takes Alan aside)Alan, is something wrong? You said Stefan is 
going to be all right, but you still look worried.
Alan:Well, there's one thing that concerns me. Stefan took an awfully 
hard blow to his spinal cord, but until he wakes up, we won't know if 
it's going to effect his mobility.

Jax's Penthouse:
Jerry:(enters)Hey, little brother. Sorry I came down on you so hard, 
earlier. I didn't even ask you how your little holiday with V went.
Jax:It's the best time I've had in a long time.
Jerry:What are you going to do about V?
Jax:She's still insisting it's over between us, but I know I can change 
her mind.
Jerry:I don't think so. I've met the lady, remember. I know you've got a 
way with women, but V is definitely not mistress material. If you want 
V, you may have to give up the Genie Car Girl.
Jax:Jerry, you know I can't do that. You've seen how she is. I don't 
think she could survive without me.
Jerry:Then you'd better forget about V, because you can't have them 
both.

Stefan's Room:
Kat(enters to find Stefan staring up at the ceiling)Oh, Stefan, you're 
awake. I've been so worried about you. Thank God you're all right.
Stefan:(glares at her)Is that what you think?
Kat:Stefan, it was an accident. I didn't mean for you to fall down the 
stairs, anymore than you meant to shoot me.
Stefan:Well, I suppose this is a fitting end to our relationship, then. 
When we met I paralyzed you and now we part company the same way.
Kat:Stefan, what are you saying?
Stefan:Oh, forgive me. You don't understand what I'm talking about, do 
you? Well, let me enlighten you. I have no feelings in my legs. I can't 
move them. In short, Miss Bell, I'm paralyzed and it's all your fault.
