Lois' Apartment, Bensonhurst:
Sonny:Ashton.
Ned:You didn't answer my question, Corinthos. What are you doing here?
Sonny:I was putting Brooke to be, which I do most nights.
Ned(turns to Lois)Let me get this straight. You let this criminal put my 
child to bed most nights, but you limit the time you'll allow me and my 
family to spend time with my daughter because you're afraid we'll 
corrupt her or something?
Lois:Sonny's changed. He's put his criminal past behind him. While you 
and your family never change. You are what you are and you can't help 
being what you are, but I'm going to make sure you don't warp Brooke 
into being what you are.
Ned:No, you'd rather let him warp Brooke into being a hoodlum. You know, 
Lois, I've played things your way up until now. But that's going to 
change. Starting from now, I'm going to start spending more quality time 
with my daughter and she's going to get to know my family...her family, 
as well.
Lois:Over my dead body.
Ned:I wouldn't try to fight me on this, Lois, because if I have to, I'll 
take you to court. I'll be around in the morning to pick up Brooke and 
you'd better have her ready when I arrive. She's going to spend a few 
days in Port Charles getting to know her father and her family.(with 
that, he slams out the door)
Lois(looks at Sonny)Don't even say it.
Sonny:I told you so. Look, just do what Ned wants. Don't fight him on 
this. Let him spend all the tine with Brooke that he wants to. Give him 
a chance to cool down.
Lois:Sonny, if Ned acted like this just because you've been spending 
time with Brooke, how do you think he'll behave when he learns we've 
been sleeping together?
Sonny:You don't want to know.

Jax's Mountain Cabin:
Jax(and V enter)Boy, it's really coming down out there.
V:(looking around)Where's Brenda? I thought you said she and Jerry were 
already here.
Jax:They left before we did. They should be here.( he yells) Jerry? 
Brender? Are you here? (nobody answers) Well, I'm sure they'll be here 
any moment.
V(looking at him suspiciously)If you say so, but if they're not here 
within thirty minutes, I'm leaving.
Jax:Of course, I'll even drive you. But until then, I think I'll get a 
fire started. It's freezing in here.

Jax's Penthouse:
Brenda(enters)Where's Jax? The desk clerk said he left a message for me 
that he'd be out of town for a few days.
Jerry(lighting a cigar)That's right. A sudden business emergency came 
up.
Brenda:Where? Tell me where he is and I'll join him.
Jerry:If he wanted you to go with him, don't you think he would have 
waited around for you so he could take you with him.
Brenda:Where's V? She'll know where Jax is and tell me.
Jerry;Jax took V with him. Look's like you're out of luck.
Brenda:He took V and not me.
Jerry:Well, she's of some use. She's not some useless decorative 
ornament to hang off his arm.
Brenda:Like me, you mean? How dare you! Where do you get off talking to 
me like that.
Jerry:Look, if you can't take the truth, that's your problem. I mean, 
aside from buying clothes to make yourself look pretty for Jax, what do 
you do? Frankly, I'm surprised my brother hasn't tired of you already. 
Your type of woman who needs a man to take care of her, appeals to a 
male's ego, at first, but gradually a man grows tired of the needy and 
dependant types and goes out looking for a woman who'll be his equal. A 
true live partner.

Wyndemere:
Stefan(answers the phone)Hello, Stefan Cassadine, here.
Nurse:This is Dr. Quartermaine's office. Could you tell Miss Bell her 
test results are back.
Stefan:Test results? There isn't something wrong with Katherine, is 
there?
Nurse:Oh, no, Mr. Cassadine. Miss Bell's test were just routine before 
she can be started on fertility drugs.
Stefan:Fertility drugs? Don't women take those to increase the chances 
of becoming pregnant?
Nurse:Oh, yes. Just think, Mr. Cassadine, if all goes well you may be 
hearing the pitter-patter of little feet pretty soon.
Stefan:I'll be sure to tell Miss Bell you called. (he hangs up the phone 
and summons Mrs. Lansbury)
Mrs. Lansbury:Yes, Mr. Cassadine?
Stefan:When Miss Bell comes home tell her I wish to see her, at once.

Outside of Jax's Mountain Cabin:
Jax(on the way to gather fire wood for a fire, stops by his car and pops 
open the hood. Then he looks around to make sure V can't see what he's 
doing and removes the distributor cap, drops it in his jacket pocket and 
closes the hood)That should do it. I can hardly drive V back down the 
mountaint without that. (he continues on his way to collect firewood)

Alan's Office, General Hospital:
Kat(enters)Hello, Alan, I was wondering if you got my test results back, 
yet. I'm really anxious to start taking those fertility drugs and 
becoming pregnant with Stefan's child.
Alan:Katherine, please sit down.
Kat:Is something wrong, Alan?
Alan:Katherine, I don't know how to tell you this. When you were shot 
awhile back we thought the only damaged done to you was the paralysis. 
But there was other damage we were unaware of until now.
Kat:Alan, what are you saying?
Alan:Katherine, I'm afraid fertility drugs aren't an option for you. 
Katherine, you're sterile.
Kat:What! Are you telling me I can ever have children because I was 
shot.
Alan:I'm sorry, Katherine. This is always hard for a woman to hear. But 
especially in your case since if you hadn't been shot you'd still be 
able to have children.

Outside of Jax's Mountain Cabin:
Jax(and V sitting in Jax's car. He tries once again to start the car to 
no avail)I think the battery must be dead. It looks like we're stranded 
here.
V:I'm not spending the night here with you alone. I'll just call the 
autoclub to come and pick me up.(she takes out her cell phone and dials 
the autoclub)
Jax:What are you doing?
V:Calling for help. Hello, this is V Ardanowski. I'm stranded in the 
mountains and I need someone to come and pick me up. What? Well, how 
long will it be. Thank you.
Jax:What did they say?
V:Because of the bad weather they can't send anyone for me until 
morning.
Jax:Well then, I guess that settles it. We'll just have to spend the 
night here, together.
V:If they can't send someone for me until morning, then I'll just have 
to walk down the mountain.
Jax:V, you can't do that. The weather's getting worse and you don't know 
this area. You'll never make it down the mountain safely. Face it, V, 
you have to spend the night here with me. You don't have any other 
choice.

Lois' Apartment, Bensonhurst:
Lois(exits Brooke's bedroom to find Sonny staring sightlessly out the 
window)Brooke finally dropped off.
Sonny:Is she excited about spending some time with her daddy?
Lois:Yeah, she loves Ned. You thinking about tomorrow?
Sonny:You mean about marrying Carla? How could I not. Frankly, I wish it 
was a bad nightmare I could forget about. (he turns to Lois)Lois, I've 
been thinking. Before I have to go through with this farce of marrying 
Carla, tomorrow, I want to go through a real ceremony with you.(he goes 
down on bended knees)Cerullo, will you marry me?
