Ballroom, Plaza Hotel:
(as the cameras continue to click, reporters begin firing questions at 
Sonny)
Reporter #1:Mr. Corinthos, why did you mysteriously disappear from  Port 
Charles on the night of your wedding?
Reporter #2:Mr. Corinthos, are you aware you disappearance was featured 
on Unsolved Mysteries. Robert Stack entitled it as "The Case Of The 
Missing Bridegroom." He even speculated Jason Morgan had murdered you to 
takeover your crime empire. did Mr. Morgan make an attempt on your life 
the night you disappeared? Is that why you disappeared? Were you running 
for your life from Mr. Morgan?
Reporter #3:Mr. Corinthos, just what have you been doing since you left 
Port Charles?
Jax(smirking)Yes, Sonny, do tell. Or has the cat got your tongue.(Sonny 
glares at him)Well, since Mr. Corinthos seems to be speechless at the 
moment, I guess I'll have to speak for him.
Reporter #1:Mr. Jacks, do you really know what Mr. Corinthos has been up 
to since his disappearance?
Jax:I most certainly do. First, you need to know that Sonny, here, 
doesn't go by the name Corinthos, anymore. He calls himself Michael 
Corelli, but the financial world knows him as the Corporate Angel. He 
bails out companies under attack by corporate raiders, such as myself. 
He's also partners in a talent agency called C&C Management with Ms. 
Cerullo, here.
Brenda:What! Sonny is the mysterious partner of yours who you wouldn't 
tell me about, whose name you wouldn't even mention to me. How could you 
do this to me, Lois? I thought you were my friend.
Lois:I am, but you don't know the whole story. 
Brenda:No friend of mine would even associate with him after what he did 
to me.
Reporter #2:Miss Barrett, how does it feel to be face-to-face with the 
man who left you standing at the altar?
Brenda:Don't you have anything to say to me, Sonny?
Lois(turns on Jax)You think you're so cute, don't you?
Jax:As a matter of fact, I do.
Lois:Do you have any idea just what you've done. Sonny could be killed 
because of what you've pulled.
Jax:That's Corinthos' problem. It was his choice to become a gangster. 
He'll just have to live with the consequences.
Brenda:(to Sonny)Say something to me, damn it. Don't just stand there 
like a stone statue.
Jax(so only Lois can hear him)Oh, by the way, Lois, no one need ever 
know you were burning up the sheets with Corinthos. It'll be our little 
secret.
Lois:Why you self-righteous son of a...(she curls her hand into a fist 
and punches him in the face. Jax hits the floor like a ton of bricks)
Brenda:(rushes to Jax's side)Jax, darling, are you all right? Lois, how 
could you!
Lois:Easy. He had it coming.(she takes Sonny's hand)Come on, 
Bensonhurst, let's get out of here.(she turns to the reporters blocking 
their way)I suggest you move out of our way(she motions to Jax sitting 
on the floor holding his jaw)or I'll give you some of what I gave 
him.(they clear a path for them)

The Brownstone:
Bobbie(opens the door to Kat)Katherine, what are you doing here?
Kat:May I come in? We need to talk.
Bobbie:I can't imagine about what.
Kat:It's about Stefan. You and Stefan.
Bobbie:There is no me and Stefan. You made sure of it. If that's why you 
came here, you can just leave. I have no intention of discussing my 
ex-husband with his current mistress.
Kat:I am not Stefan's mistress. I'm his future wife.
Bobbie(looks down at Kat's hand)Funny, I don't see a ring.
Kat:That's why I'm here. There's something you have to know. It's about 
you and Stefan.(the doorbell rings)
Bobbie:What is this? Grand Central Station.
Kat;Don't answer it. Just let it ring. What I have to say is much more 
important than answering the door.
Bobbie:Well, I'm afraid it's going to have to wait. Because I am going 
to answer the door.(Bobbie heads to the front door and opens it. It's 
Stefan)You!
Stefan:I'm looking for Katherine. Is she here?
Bobbie:As a matter of fact, she is. Come on in.
Stefan:(gives her a look that says "I know exactly what you're doing 
here and you'd better not do it")Katherine.
Kat:Stefan.
Bobbie:Katherine was just about to tell me something about you and I. It 
was so important she didn't even want me to answer the door.
Stefan(coldly stares at Kat)Was she really. By all means, Katherine, do 
tell.
Kat:It was nothing. I realize it was a mistake coming here. Why don't we 
leave, Stefan. I'm sure Bobbie has a lot of things she needs to do.

Jax's Room, Plaza Hotel:
Jerry:I told you to leave him alone.
Jax(holding an ice pack to his throbbing jaw)Sonny wasn't the one who 
hit me, Lois was.
Jerry:That's not what I mean and you know it.
Brenda:You knew too! How could you do this to me. First my best friend 
and now my brother-in-law. Why must I be betrayed by everyone whose 
close to me. Sonny's evil. It's like he's the devil incarnate the way 
he's able to make everyone betray me like this.
Jerry:Don't forget about your husband. Jax knew, too. That fiasco 
downstairs was courtesy of him.
Brenda:Jax, why didn't you tell me. I had a right to know.
Jax:All I could think of was making him pay for what he did to you. Of 
exposing him publicly. Of blowing apart the new life he's built for 
himself. Of making him feel the public humiliation that you felt.
Brenda:Oh, Jax, darling, you did all this for me. You're so wonderful. 
What did I ever do to deserve you. You'd never betray me the was Lois 
did, would you.(Jax and Jerry share a look. Both are thinking about V)
Jerry:If you'll excuse me, I'm going to find Michael and see if he's all 
right.
Brenda:If he's all right? What about me? He left me standing at the 
altar.
Jerry:Having known you only a brief time, I can understand why.(he heads 
out the door)

Sonny's Apartment:
Sonny(and Lois enter. Sonny sits down on the couch and wraps his arms 
around his bent knees)
Lois:Sonny, I wish you'd say something. You haven't said a word since 
those reporters ambushed us.
Sonny:(looks her in the eye)Go away, Cerullo.
Lois:What did you say?
Sonny:You heard me. When they come to kill me, I don't want you caught 
in the crossfire. I want you to walk out that door and never come back.
Lois:And what are you going to do? Just sit here and wait for someone to 
come and blow your brains out.
Sonny:I'm tired of running and I'm not going to do it anymore. I never 
ran from anything in my life, before, and it was a mistake to start. I 
should have stayed and faced it head-on. If I don't stop running, I'll 
never be able to stop and that's no way to live your life always having 
to look over your shoulder and sleeping with one eye open. When I came 
home to Bensonhurst, I made a decision. That was it for me. I was 
through running. If the mob found me, then they found me.
Lois:So you just expect me to just walk out of here and never look back 
while you wait in this apartment to die?
Sonny:That's right. It's over, Cerullo. Deep down we knew it couldn't 
last forever. Were born, we live a little, then we die. It's just my 
time.
Lois:No, it's not. I can't believe you're going to just sit here and not 
put up a fight. That's not like you.
Sonny:Cerullo, I'm tired of fighting. I've been fighting just to survive 
since I was a little boy and I just don't have anymore fight left in me.
Lois:Fine, if you're tired of fighting, then I'll do the fighting for 
you.
Sonny:There's nothing you can do, Cerullo.
Lois:We'll see about that.(then she leaves)
