Barrett Estate, Upstate New York:
Brenda(grabs a vase and hits Sonny over the head with it as he's about 
to walk through the door. Then she cradles his head in her lap and runs 
her fingers through his hair)I'm sorry I had to do that, baby, but you 
made me do it. I'm not going to let you leave me, ever again.
Lily:Let's see. First, you drugged him and now you've bashed him on the 
head. You really do know how to make a man love you, don't you.
Brenda:Drugging him was your idea.
Lily:Well, I didn't tell you to smash a vase over his head.
Brenda:What else was I supposed to do. Sonny was trying to leave.
Lily(chuckles)And nobody leaves, right?
Brenda:That's not funny. You know, Lily, sometimes I don't think you're 
really my friend, after all.
Lily:Well, I'm all you got. Are you sure you didn't kill him.
Brenda:Of course I am. You can see for yourself that he's breathing. 
Sonny's just fine. He'll just have a little headache when he wakes up.
Lily:Well, you'd better find some other way of controlling Sonny in 
future. As hard as his head is, it's only going to take so many hits. I 
wonder if Lois has found your note, yet.
Brenda:I'm sure she has.
Lily:Do you think she believes it? That Sonny ranaway with you?
Brenda:Of course she does. Why wouldn't she?
Lily:Brenda, Lois isn't like you. She's not going to take what someone 
says about Sonny at face value the way you did.
Brenda:What is that supposed to mean?
Lily:If Sonny had pulled that wedding number on Lois, she wouldn't have 
just bought what Jason said. She wouldn't have quit digging until she 
found out the real truth about why Sonny left.
Brenda:What are you saying?
Lily:That Lois isn't just going to buy your note as the truth. That Lois 
could very well turn up here wanting the truth and to see Sonny for a 
face-to-face confrontation.

Sonny and Lois' Penthouse:
Lois(runs to the door as someone knocks)Sonny?
Justus:Sonny's not back, yet.
Lois:No, I'm starting to think maybe I should call the hospital to see 
if he's been hurt.
Justus:(notices the note Brenda left for Lois)What's this? It has your 
name on it.
Lois:It's Brenda's handwriting.(she rips the envelope open and starts 
reading the note)
Justus:What does it say.
Lois;Brenda says she and Sonny have run away together.
Justus:What! Lois, I can't believe this.
Lois;Neither can I.
Justus:Did you have any clue something was going on between Brenda and 
Sonny.
Lois:You misunderstood me, Justus. I don't believe this note. It's a 
lie. Sonny didn't run away with Brenda.
Justus:But Brenda's note...
Lois:I don't know why she wrote this, but it's a lie. The last time I 
talked to Sonny, which was only a few hours ago, he was talking about us 
renewing our vows in a big church wedding. Now does that sound like a 
man that's about to run away with another woman to you.
Justus:No, but you know how Sonny is about jail. Maybe he just panicked 
and ran.
Lois:But why take Brenda with him? Besides, Sonny doesn't run. Anyway, 
he wouldn't have to. He told me all the charges were about to be dropped 
against him.
Justus:What! That's news to me. What else did he say?
Lois:That he knew who shot Carla and that person was about to come 
forward and confess. Justus, you don't think the person who shot Carla 
forced Brenda to write this note and did something to her and Sonny, do 
you?
Justus:I don't know. I do know Jason was able to track down Freddy the 
doorman, but since he dien't tell me anything about his meeting with 
him, I thought it turned out to be a deadend.
Lois:Just where is Jason, anyway? Maybe he's with Sonny and I'm worrying 
about nothing.
Justus:Jason's on Spoon Island with Carly having dinner with Stefan 
Cassadine.
Lois:Then Sonny's not with him?
Justus:No.(he notices her picking up her purse and car keys)What are you 
doing.
Lois:Will you stay here and watch Brooke while I'm gone.
Justus:Where are you going.
Lois:Out to Spoon Island. I'm going to find out what the heck has been 
going on in my husband's life while I was gone and Jason's just the 
person to provide me with the answers I need.
Justus(as Lois rushes out the door)Lois, I"m sure Sonny's fine. You know 
he can take care of himself.
Lois:From your mouth to God's ears.

Wyndemere:
Kat(enters Jerry's room)Well, now that you've arranged for us to spend 
the night, here, just what are we going to do next?
Jerry:We're going to spend some quality time with the objects of our 
affection. The old divide and conquer routine, if you get my drift.
Kat:How?
Jerry:Cassadine's still downstairs. All you have to do is paddle your 
little cat paws down the stairs and get up close and personal with your 
friendly neighborhood vampire.
Kat:And what will you be doing, while I'm doing that?
Jerry:I'll be doing the same with Bobbie. The longer you can keep 
Cassadine downstairs, the better. It would be really great if we could 
arrange for either Bobbie to find you and Cassadine in a compromising 
position or for Cassadine to find Bobbie and I in a compromising 
position. Oh, wait a minute, I just thought of what we can do to sow the 
seeds of dissention between them. When you approach Cassadine, I want 
you to tell him you saw Bobbie inviting me into her bedroom and when I 
pay Bobbie a visit in her bedroom, I'll say I saw Cassadine knock of 
your door and ask you to come downstairs with him. That way they'll 
suspect they're betraying each other. And from there we can continue to 
widen the rift between them until we get what we both want. Let's go.
