Chapel, Spoon Island:
Carly(slips her hand into Sonny's)For awhile there I didn't think you were 
going to come.
Sonny:I wasn't going to.
Carly:Then what changed your mind?
Sonny:Mike said if I wasn't going to go through witih this, I should have 
the decency to come here and tell you to your face.
Carly:Is that why you're here, now. To tell me you're not going to go 
through with this?
Stefan:Barbara, what are you looking at?
Bobbie:Sonny and Carly. When Sonny arrived did he say anything about him not 
wanting to go through with this?
Stefan:What do you mean if he wanted to go through with this or not? We're 
standing at the altar. It's a little too late for him to decide he doesn't 
want to go through with this, don't you think.
Bobbie:Sonny and Carly are having some problems at the moment due in large 
part to your mother. I was just curious how he acted when he arrived. Was he 
happy about the wedding. Anxious for it to start.
Stefan:No, as a matter of fact, he wasn't. I had to practically push him 
down the aisle and make him take his place. When he arrived he wanted to see 
Caroline in private, but I told him there wasn't time.
Bobbie:That doesn't sound good.
Stefan:I knew it was a mistake to involve him in our wedding. I swear, 
Barbara, if he does anything to ruin this for us, I'm going to kill him.

Up In The Alcove:
Veronica:Come on, Bobbie, turn around to Stefan. Look deeply into his eyes. 
Then I can kill you.

Helena's Yacht:
Helena(as Jagger enters)Jagger, what are you doing here?
Jagger;I heard through the grapevine you were planning on leaving town, 
today.(he looks at her suitcase piled up around the room.)I can see that 
it's true. Were you going to leave without saying goodbye to me?
Helena:Don't worry, my dear, I was planning on sending you a rather large 
payment for services rendered. I wouldn't have left you empty-handed.
Jagger:You know, just because you're leaving town, doesn't have to mean an 
end to our association.
Helena:Just what are you suggesting? That I take you with me when I leave as 
sort of a souvenir from this dreary little town.
Jagger:Why not? Wherever you're going, I'm sure you'll be in need of someone 
with my particular talents.
Helena:Jagger, don't take this personally, but anywhere I go, I can find 
someone with your particular talents.
Jagger:I wasn't just talking about me detective skills, you know. I've seen 
the way you look at me, Helena. I know you want me.
Helena;Yes, I do want you, but you've never given me any reason before to 
believe you were interested.
Jagger:Well, I am, now. (he pulls off his t-shirt)Do you like what you see, 
Helena.(he takes her hand and runs it down his chest)If you take me with 
you, you can do a lot more than just touch me. You'd like that, wouldn't 
you, Helena?

Chapel, Spoon Island:
Sonny:(turns to her)Yes, that's why I'm here. I came here to tell you I 
can't go through with this.(he grabs her arm before she can flee back down 
the aisle)But, I've changed my mind. When I saw you coming down the aisle 
towards me in my mother's wedding gown, I realized you're everything I've 
ever wanted and together we have everything I've always dreamed of.
Carly:Do you really mean that?
Sonny:With all my heart. Carly, I love you, and I want to renew my wedding 
vows with you. I want us to get married like it's happening for the very 
first time and to leave behind all that's happened between us in the past. I 
want us to make a fresh start.
Carly:That's all that I want, too.
Sonny:But, Carly, what you did in the past, can't ever happen, again. I 
can't go through the rest of my life wondering what you're going to do to me 
next because you love me and don't want to lose me.
Carly:Sonny, it'll never happen, again. I swear it. It only happened because 
I love you so much and I was so scared of losing you that I got desperate 
and did desperate things. But, you see, I'm not afraid of losing you, 
anymore. I know now that you love me and that nothing and no one will ever 
take you away from me, again. By marrying me, today, inspite of everything, 
you've proved that to me.(just then Brenda enters the back of the church)
Bobbie:I think it's going to be all right. They're smiling at each other.
Stefan:It'd better be.
Minister:Stefan and Barbara, will you please face each other and recite your 
vows.

Up In The Alcove:
Veronica:That's right. That's just perfect. How romantic. Dying as they say 
their vows to each other. It gives a whole new meaning to the phrase until 
death do they part.(She begins to pull back the trigger)

Down In The Chapel:
Mike(arrives at the back of the church)Brenda, I'm begging you. Please, 
don't do this. Brenda, just look at Sonny. He's happy. If you do this, he'll 
never know another moment's happiness in his life, again.

Up In The Alcove:
Veronica(is just pulling back the trigger when there's this strange 
whistling sound and a few seconds later a poison dart embeds in the side of 
her neck)
Faison(steps forward and takes the rifle from her as she falls to the floor 
dead)I'm sorry it had to end like this, Veronica. But you left  us no other 
alternative.(then he grabs her by the arms and begins to drag her body away)

Down In The Chapel:
Minister:Michael and Caroline, will you please face each other and recite 
your vows.
Brenda(glares at Carly whose beaming at Sonny)Yes, I can see that. You win, 
Mike. I won't tell Sonny I'm alive or that I've given birth to his son.(she 
turns around to him)In fact, I think it's best for all involved if I take 
Sonny's child and leave Port Charles, immediately.
Mike:You're probably right. It'll be for the best. I'm sorry, Brenda. I'm 
sorry things couldn't have worked out for you and Michael. I know this must 
hurt you, terribly. But, Brenda, what you're doing is for the best. You've 
proven to me, today, just how much you do love my son. You love him enough 
to let him go and to unselfishly put his happiness before your own.(
Minister:Stefan and Barbara and Michael and Caroline, I now pronounce you 
husband and wives. Gentlemen, you may now kiss your brides.(as Sonny kisses 
Carly and Stefan kisses Bobbie, Mike and Brenda quietly leave the church 
unnoticed)

Brenda's Room, General Hospital:
Brenda(enters to find Robert and Anna waiting for her)How did you two know 
I'd come back here.
Anna:You left your son behind in the nursery.
Robert:You went to see Corinthos, didn't you? Well, did you tell him you're 
alive.
Brenda:I saw Sonny, but I never revealed myself to him. He doesn't know I'm 
alive, and I have no intention of telling him. I've realized that what 
everyone's been saying to me is true. It's best for Sonny if he continues to 
think I'm dead. There's no good that can come from me telling him I'm alive.
Robert:Do you really mean that?
Brenda:Yes, I do. It's too late for Sonny and I. I see that, now. Carly's 
won.
Robert:Well, that's good you've come to this realization. Because what with 
Faison escaping, it could be years before we'll have enough evidence on 
Helena to bring her to justice and until she's safely beind prison walls, 
you and your son will continue to be in danger from her. Which is why we 
want to put you in the Witness Protection Program.
Anna:The WPP will give you and Michael new identities and take you to a new 
location to live.
Brenda:Fine, let's do it. There's nothing keeping me here, any longer. So 
when do Michael and I leave.
Robert:Today, actually. In fact, it's already been arranged.
Brenda:Fine, now if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to be alone. Would you mind 
leaving.
Anna:Of course not.(she and Robert exit. Once in the hall they share a 
look)She agreed to that awfully easy, don't you think. Maybe she agreed to 
it a little too easily.
Robert:I know what you mean. She's been a pain in the behind up until now, 
and the fact that she's been so cooperative makes my radar go up. I figured 
we'd have a big fight on our hands to convince her to agree to this.
Anna:You think she's up to something?
Robert:Probably, but as soon as we hand her over to the WPP, she'll be their 
problem, not ours.

Helena's Jet:
Helena(as Faison enters and straps himself into a seat as the plane begins 
to taxi along the runway)So, did you take care of it?
Faison:Veronica Barrett is no longer a problem.
Helena:What did you do with her body.
Faison:I paid an associate I know who runs a funeral home to cremate her. 
She's just another pile of ashes and she won't be able to cause us anymore 
grief.
Helena:Excellent.
Faison:So, what plans do you have for us when we reach Greece.
Helena:We'll have to lay low for a little while until my grandson-in-law 
lets down his guard and becomes complacent with his lot in life. And once he 
does that, that's when we'll move in for the kill and find a way to put him 
back under our control, again.
Faison:Since you're still ruling out mind control, I've had a few other 
ideas on how we could accomplish that. I think the best way is if we can get 
our hooks into either Carly or Luke Spencer. They're closest to him.
Helena:Actually, I think he might be expecting something like that. I think 
we should strike where he'll least expect it. Let's start with his father.
Jagger(comes out of the bedroom wearing only a towel)Helena, I was just 
about to take a shower. I was wondering if you'd like to join me.
Faison:Helena, what is he doing here? I thought we left him in Port Charles.
Helena(leering at Jagger)I decided to bring Jagger with us to Greece. I 
realized he can be useful to me in all sorts of ways. I'll be right with 
you, Jagger. If you'll excuse me, Faison, the shower awaits.

Ballroom, Wyndemere:
Stefan(twirling Bobbie around on the dance floor)Well, Mrs. Cassadine, we 
finally made it. We're finally husband and wife, again.
Bobbie:And this time I intend to hold you to what you told me the first time 
we got married.
Stefan:And what was that?
Bobbie:Cassadines never divorce.
Stefan:Never again, Barbara. Never again.
Luke(comes up to Sonny)Well, partner, I've got to hand it to you. You've now 
done what no sane man would ever do.
Sonny(sipping champagne)And what's that?
Luke:You've married Carly, twice.
Sonny:So, how's things going with you. I noticed you brought Laura and you 
two seem pretty cosy.
Luke:We've decided to give it another try. We're taking it one day at a 
time. Of course, if Laura ever finds out I'm back with the mob, all bets are 
off.
Sonny:You've got an even bigger problem than that. Mac's resigned as police 
commissioner, and his brother has taken back the job. His first move as 
commissioner was to appoint his wife as police chief. What are you going to 
do if they discover you're head of the mob.
Luke:I'll just have to make sure they never find out, won't I?

Robert's Office, PCPD:
Robert:All right, Taggert, what do we have on the books.
Taggert:Well, sir, mob activity has picked up in town, recently, but we 
can't get a beat on whose in charge.
Robert:Any likely suspects.
Taggert:The only thing we can say for sure is it isn't Corinthos.
Robert:Then I guess my first move as commissioner is to find out whose in 
charge of the mob and put them out of business.
Anna(peeks her head in the door)Robert, we should be leaving now. Robin and 
Nikolas are coming to dinner, tonight, and we don't want to be late.
Robert:Right, luv. I'll be right with you. Taggert, I want you to get on 
that matter we were discussing, immediately.
Taggert:Will do, sir.

Ballroom Wyndemere:
Carly(comes up to Sonny and wraps her arms around him from behind)You don't 
mind if I borrow my husband, do you, Uncle Luke?
Luke(as he heads off to find Laura)Could I stop you?
Sonny:Ignore him. Where did you take off to?
Carly:I went to call my doctor. I've got wonderful news. He told me there's 
absolutely no physical reason why I can't carry a child to full-term. He 
said the only reason I gave birth prematurely to Michael and Adella was 
because of the stress I was under. So, we can have as many children as we 
want to.

Airplane En Route To Whereabouts Unknown:
Brenda(holding her baby in her arms)Well, Michael, I think I fooled them 
all. They really believe I've let Sonny go for good. I can't believe they 
all made me out to be some kind of villain just because I want you, me and 
Sonny to be a family like it was always supposed to be. My God, I'm the 
victim in this mess. Me! I was the one almost killed and held prisoner, and 
you can bet Carly knew all about it, too. Michael, I want you to know it's 
going to take Mommy a little while before she can make you, me and Daddy a 
family, but I don't want you to ever lose hope that it's going to happen. 
Because one day it is going to happen. You just wait and see. Like I said, 
it's just going to take me a little while to accomplish it. Actually, the 
time it's going to take for them to bring down Helena Cassadine may just 
work in our favor. You know, when I arrived at the church, I had every 
intention of revealing myself to everyone there. But then I looked at Carly. 
You should have seen her, Michael. She was so pleased with,  herself. And 
why shouldn't she be. She thinks she's gotten away with killing me. I know 
she was the one who put the bomb on that boat. You see, she knows the only 
way she could ever get your Daddy away from me, is if she got me out of the 
way, permanently. Only it's her bad luck I survived. Anyway, when I was 
looking at her, I realized I want to pay her back for all that I've 
suffered. Okay, Michael, Mommy isn't perfect. Mommy wants revenge. And I 
think the perfect way to get it is to let Carly become secure in her life 
with Sonny, thinking nothing and no one will ever come between them or take 
him away from her, only for me to arrive one day and pull the rug right out 
from under her, which is exactly what I plan to do at just the right moment. 
There was also another reason I didn't show myself. I remembered what your 
grandfather Mike said about how your Daddy gave me up because Lily was 
pregnant with his child. I really think your Daddy needs to get a good taste 
of getting what he thinks he wants, only for him to decide it isn't what he 
really wants, at all. And that's exactly what's going to happen while you 
and I are away from Port Charles. And while that's happening, I'm going to 
be off somewhere plotting down to the last little detail our return to Port 
Charles and our reclaiming of your Daddy as our own. You just wait, Michael. 
We'll be back again some day and when we do come back, just you wait and see 
if that's not exactly what happens.
