Outside of Brenda's Room,  General Hospital:
Anna:Robert, how are we going to get Brenda to go along with the new plan. 
She was barely cooperating with us before and she only though the situation 
was temporary.
Robert:What choice does she have. This is the only way to make sure she and 
her child are safe from Helena.
Anna:She'll want Sonny to go with her. You know that.
Robert:Then we'll just have to ake her see that the only way this thing is 
going to work is for everyone, including Sonny, to continue to think she's 
dead. Why even bother putting her in the Witness Protection Program and 
giving her a new identity if Helena discovers she's really alive. Besides, 
do you really think Sonny would be willing to walk away from the trusteeship 
of the Cassadine estate and his two children for Brenda and her child.
Anna:He might. From what I've heard, he was willing to do it before for her. 
He was all set to give up everything and go on the run with her. But, of 
course, there weren't children involved in the situation back then. That 
could change things. If Brenda places Sonny in the position of having to 
choose between his children and if he does choose to be with Brenda and 
their child, Sonny could grow to resent Brenda in time for making him make 
that choice.
Robert:Maybe that's the way to convince her to go into the Witness 
Protection Program without telling Sonny she's alive. That if she forces 
Sonny to put her child before his children with Carly all the love he feels 
for her will eventually turn to hate.
Anna;Whatever. Let's just go in there anda get this over with. It isn't 
going to be pleasant, no matter what we say.(they enter the room and find it 
empty)Robert, she's gone.
Robert(rushes over to the open window)I think she must have worked her way 
along the ledge to the next room and escaped.(he looks at Anna)You know 
where she's headed, don't you? Straight for Corinthos.

Bridal Room, The Chapel, Spoon Island:
Bobbie:Carly, shouldn't you be getting dressed. The wedding's supposed to 
take place in an hour and you have even begun to get ready, yet.
Carly:I don't know if there's any reason for me to get dressed. Sonny may 
not show up. He said he'd let me know when he knows, but so far I haven't 
heard a word from him.
Bobbie:But you told me Sonny agreed to this.
Carly:He did. He even proposed to me with his mother's engagement ring and 
gave me his mother's wedding gown to wear.
Bobbie:Then what caused him to change his mind. All right, Carly, what have 
you done, this time.

Sonny's Penthouse:
Mike(enters to find Sonny sitting on the couch dressed in his morning 
suit)Michael, shouldn't you be getting to Spoon Island. The wedding is going 
to be taking place, soon. Surely, you don't want to be late for your own 
wedding.
Sonny:What are you doing here?
Mike:Stefan Cassadine called me. When you hadn't shown up, he began to get 
worried and asked me to come over here and check up on you. So, what are you 
doing just sitting there when you should already be out on Spoon Island 
waiting for the wedding to start.
Sonny:I'm not sure I'm going to go through with the wedding. I'm sitting 
here trying to decide what I should do.
Mike:Excuse me? You're deciding if you'll show up at your wedding less than 
an hour before it's scheduled to take place.
Sonny:Mike, you don't understand. You don't know what Carly's done to me.

Bridal Room, The Chapel, Spoon Island:
Bobbie:You did what!
Carly:Bobbie, I was desperate. Helena told me if I went along with her it 
would get me Sonny back and she was right. It did.
Bobbie:Only for you to lose him, again.
Carly:I haven't lost him. Sonny won't leave me, if only because of Michael 
and Adella. Of course, he also may not be willing to remarry me, today, 
either.
Bobbie:I'm going to find Stefan and have him announce that the double 
wedding is off and that only Stefan and I will be getting married here, 
today.
Carly(grabs her arm)Oh, no, you're not. Sonny hasn't called and said he 
wasn't coming, so as far as I know the wedding is still on. In fact, that I 
haven't heard from him is a good sign. Bobbie, hurry up and help me get into 
my wedding gown.
Bobbie:What!
Carly:Bobbie, I have to be ready when Sonny arrives. Come on and help me.

Sonny's Penthouse:
Sonny:So do you see why I'm having a little trouble at the moment at the 
thought of standing in a church and taking holy vows with Carly after I 
found out what she's done.
Mike:So, you're just sitting her pouting like a spoiled brat while you're 
making making Carly wait at the church to see if you're going to show up or 
not and marry her. Haven't you done this before.
Sonny:This is completely different than what happened with Brenda.
Mike:Do you plan to divorce Carly because of this?
Sonny:No, of course not.
Mike:Well, you mayaswell, because if Carly walks down the aisle expecting 
you to show up and marry her the same way Brenda did because you didn't have 
the decency to go to her and tell her it was too soon after you found out 
what she did to reaffirm your wedding vows with her, and she ends up 
publicly humiliating herself in front of this whole town, like Brenda did, 
your marriage will be as good as over.
Sonny:So what are you saying? That I should go through with it?
Mike:No, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying you should go to Carly and 
tell her if you aren't going to go through with it. You owe it to Carly, not 
to mention Stefan and Bobbie. In case it's slipped your mind, it's their 
wedding, too, and it could be ruined by your actions.
Sonny:What about Michael and Adella?
Mike:I'll stay here and watch them.
Sonny:So, you're willing to miss my wedding.
Mike:Is there going to be a wedding to miss?
Sonny:I don't know.(he stomps out the front door)
Mike(heads for the stairs)Oh, Michael, don't screw this up. (he hears the 
door open behind him)Michael, I thought we had this settled. (he turns 
around and stares in shock)Brenda!
Brenda:Mike, where's Sonny. I really need to see him.
Mike:Brenda, it can't be. You're supposed to be dead.
Brenda(goes over to Mike and touches his cheek)Mike, it's me. I'm alive. And 
I can't wait to find Sonny and tell him I'm alive, too.
Mike:But how? Michael saw you die on that boat.
Brenda:It's a long story. Too long to get into right now. I've got to find 
Sonny. I want to tell him I'm alive and take him to meet our son.
Mike:Your son?
Brenda:I had the baby. Sonny and I have a son. Isn't that wonderful. Mike, 
you are happy about it, aren't you.
Mike:Brenda, things have changed in the weeks you've been gone between Sonny 
and Carly.
Brenda:Oh, I know all about it. I know Carly had her child and that Sonny 
decided to stay with her, but when he finds out I'm alive all that will 
change.
Mike:Brenda, Michael loves Carly. I've seen them together. As hard as this 
is for you to accept, it's really true.
Brenda:He only thinks he does. It's only because he thinks I'm dead. When he 
finds out I'm not, everything will change.
Mike:Brenda, I've seen Sonny with Carly. He's happy with her and for the 
first time in his life, he also seems to be at peace. If you make him choose 
between your child and Carly's children, he'll never know peace, again. No 
matter what he does, he'll feel he's abandoning one of his children and 
it'll tear him apart. If you love Sonny, please, I beg you, to just let him 
go. Just let him continue to think you're dead and don't let him know he has 
another child.
Brenda:Mike, I can't believe you're saying this to me. You were always the 
one person I could count on who always wanted Sonny and I together. Who knew 
we belonged together. And now you want me to let Sonny go and let him 
continue to think I'm dead.
Mike:Brenda, I'd still feel the same way if there weren't any children 
involved in this situation. You know how Michael is about abandonment. As 
much as Sonny loves you, he gave you up when he learned Lily was going to 
have his child, because he couldn't bear the thought of abandoning his own 
child. And if you tell him you're alive,  you're going to force him to 
abandon a child, whether it's yours or Carly's.
Brenda:Where's Sonny. Mike, if you don't tell me, I'll just find him on my 
own.
Mike:He's on Spoon Island. He and Carly are supposed to be renewing their 
wedding vows at Stefan and Bobbie's wedding, today.
Brenda:Good. It sounds like I just arrived in time. I wasn't able to stop 
them from getting married, but I'll sure be able to stop them from renewing 
their vows together.
Mike:Brenda, I'm begging you, please don't do this. Don't force my son into 
the position where he'll have to choose between his own children.
Brenda:I thought you were my friend, Mike. But I guess I was wrong.(she 
walks out the door)

Chapel, Spoon Island:
Stefan(as Sonny enters)Corinthos! So, you've finally arrived. I was about to 
send out a search party for you.
Sonny:If you'll excuse me, I need to talk to my wife. Where is she?
Stefan:I'm afraid that won't be possible. We don't have time for you to go 
and talk with my daughter. If you wanted to speak to her before the 
ceremony, you should have got here sooner. Now there's not time.
Sonny:Well, you'd better make time. Before this wedding begins, I have to 
speak with Carly.
Stefan:I'm afraid you'll just have to wait until after the ceremony is over. 
When you arrived, I gave the signal for the wedding to begin.(the wedding 
march begins to play)Come on, that's our cue.(Sonny continues to stand where 
he is)Corinthos, what are you waiting for. Look, you'd better not do 
anything to ruin this day for Barbara and I. We've waited a long time for 
this day to come. I was against including you in it, but Barbara wanted it, 
so I agreed.(he gives Sonny a shove in the direction of the aisle)So, come 
on. Let's take our places.

Up In The Alcove:
Veronica(watches as first Stefan and Sonny take their places at the head of 
the aisle, then Bobbie and Carly march down the aisle and take their places 
by their grooms. Once they're all facing front, she aims the rifle at Bobbie 
and a red dot appears on the middle of Bobbie's back like a bulleyes marking 
its target)
