Interrogation Room, Port Charles Police Department: Robert:What are you talking about? Are you telling me he's WSB? Sean:Not exactly. Come on, Robert, this isn't the first time one of us recruited a civillian to go undercover. Remember Frisco, Felicia and Colton? Jagger, maybe you should explain things. Jagger:Helena Cassadine approached me about returning to Port Charles and causing some trouble for Sonny Corinthos. Anyone whose lived in this town for any amount of time knows all about the Cassadines. I thought if Corinthos was somehow involved with the Cassadines it would be the perfect way to finally nail him. Since Sean helped me get into the police academy and has no more love for Corinthos than I do, I contacted him. We'd kept in touch over the years and I knew he was back at the WSB as the United States Bureau Chief. Sean told me to play along with Helena and the rest you know. Anna:Surely, by now, you must have enough to nail Helena on. Jagger:Not really. We've got little things Helena would no doubt be able to wiggle her way out of. She told me to be outside the Port Charles Hotel to save Bobbie when a car came barrelling towards her, but we can't prove Helena hired someone to try and run Bobbie down. If she did, why would she ask me to save her? We know she was aiding and abetting Veronica Barrett, but she could say she honestly believed Veronica was Roberta Anderson and had no idea who she really was. Again, we can't prove she's lying. We can't prove she planted a bomb on the boat Brenda was on, just that she told me to rescue Brenda from it before it exploded, just like she wanted me to rescue Bobbie from that on-coming car. Of course, there's the kidnapping of Brenda and Malcolm, but Helena kidnapped Laura Spencer, too, and she held her prisoner for over two years and no charges were ever filed against her for that. Sean:Robert, when we take Helena down we want it to be on something so big she'll never be albe to beat the rap. Jagger:We thought we had that with Brenda. Helena planned to kill Brenda once the baby was born. We intended to catch her in the act of trying to kill Brenda. We were just waiting for Brenda to give birth before we took Helena down. Anna:You let out child be dragged into this mess? Sean:Malcolm was never in any physical danger. Robert:So you say, mate, but can you guarantee me of that. We've raised that child away from all the danger that always surrounds Anner and I because of the choices we've made in our lives and now it's touched him the same way it did Robin and Nikolas. Jagger:Look, we've got bigger problems than that. Brenda's on the loose. She's out there somewhere. If Helena finds out, she's going to kill her before she can tell anyone what she knows. Sean:Jagger's right. We've got to find her before Helena does. Any ideas where you think she might head. Jagger:She'll head straight to Corinthos. Anna:Does she know Sonny's living back at his penthouse. Jagger:No, as far as she knows, he's still living at the Brownstone. Robert:Then that's where she'll head, first. Anna:And if we figured that our so easilyu, it won't take Helena long to come to the same conclusion. The Brownstone: Brenda(enters the darkened house)Sonny? Sonny?(she rushes into the apartment she and Sonny shared)Sonny! Sonny, where are you!(she finds their apartment empty of all their personal belongings)Sonny!(she rushes upstairs to Carly's apartment and Michael's nursery. They're both empty, too)My god! What's happened here. They're all gone. Is this Helena's work, too?(she suddenly grabs her stomach as she's hit with a sharp pain)Oh, god, no! Not now!(it's followed by another sharp pain that brings Brenda to her knees)No, this can't be happening. I can't be having the baby, now! Helena's Yacht: Helena(as Faison enters)Faison, I think it's time we give Mr. Corinthos another assignment to do. We've let him have quite a bit of freedom in lieu of is grief. He probably even thinks you've forgotten all about him since you haven't been in contact with him. I think it's time for him to learn otherwise, don't you? Faison:Why? Helena:Because I don't want him to enjoy his victory of being named trustee of the Cassadine Estate, too much. Faison:You're sure he'll be appointed trustee? Helena:I'm reasonably sure and until the Barrett creature chucks out his spawn, I don't want to give him a moment or peace. I want him to know what it's like to be constantly controlled by someone. That way it'll be easier for me to control him when I reveal that Brenda Barrett didn't really die on that boat. That I kept her alive until she gave birth to his child, then I killed her and I'll do the same to his child if he doesn't do exactly what I say. Maybe when I kill the Barrett creature, I'll even capture it all on film so I can play it for Mr. Corinthos, so it'll be like he was there when it happened. Yes, I think that's exactly what I'll do. I can just see it now. I'll film Ms. Barrett as she gives birth to her lovers child. Then as soon as the baby is safely born, I'll simply hold a pillow over its mother's face until she stops breathing. Life and death. The things that life is made out of. Once Mr. Corinthos sees tht he'll have no desire to try and thrwart me and I'll have him in the palm of my hand, for life. Ari(enters)I just got a report from the man you had following Veronica Barrett as she left the Harborview Towers. You're not going to like it. Helena:Didn't she go to the airport and catch a plane out of town like she claimed she was going to do? Ari:No, she didn't. She must have realized she was being followed because she managed to lose the man we had tailing her and we can't find her anywhere. We sent men to the bus station, train depot and airport terminal, but she hasn't shown up in any of those places. And we also have men stationed at the city limits and the docks. They haven't see her, either. The only thing they can say for sure is that Veronica Barrett is still somewhere in this town, they just don't know where.
