Port Charles County Courthouse:
Bailiff:All rise for the Honorable Joesph P. Keating.
Judge:(bangs his gavel)You may all be seated. I understand were here to 
decide the possible removal of Helena Cassadine as trustee of the Cassadine 
estate.
Alexis:Alexis Davis for Stefan Cassadine, your honor. This matter is really 
clear cut. Helena Cassadine has been perpretrating a fraud against the 
Cassadine estate for decades. When Laura Cassadine gave birth to the 
Cassadine heir, he was born dead. Helena Cassadine was aware of this and she 
went to great lengths to cover up the truth. So the Cassadine estate could 
pass from her son, Stavros, to his issue, Mrs. Cassadine had the newborn 
infant son of Robert and Anna Scorpio stolen from them and she used that 
child to replace her deceased grandson and she's kept up this deception 
until very recently when Robert and Anna Scorpio discovered Nikolas 
Cassadine was really their child.
Justus:Your Honor, Justus Ward for Helena Cassadine. This is all just 
heresay. There's no way to prove these allegations that Ms. Davis has 
leveled against Mrs. Cassadine. There is no proof that Helena Cassadine was 
behind this fraud. For all we know it could have been Stavros Cassadine who 
was responsible for passing off the Scorpios child as his own son and heir 
to the Cassadine estate. Unfortunately, Stavros Cassadine is dead and we 
can't ask him if he, not Helena Cassadine, was the one guilty of this 
deception. There's also no way to prove that Helena Cassadine wasn't 
innocent of all knowledge of this horrendous deed. We only have the word of 
Ms. Davis and Mr. Cassadine, and both have an axe to grind with Mrs. 
Cassadine.
Alexis:Your Honor, we can prove Mrs. Cassadine's guilt in this matter. We 
have audio tapes of Mrs. Cassadine revealing she was more than aware of this 
deception and taking full advantage of the situation to further her own 
ends. Not only that, but while she was passing off the child known as 
Nikolas Cassadine as heir, she was keeping from her other son, Stefan, the 
fact that he had a child of his own. And, recently, to prevent Mr. Cassadine 
from discovering that his daughter's son, Michael Corinthos, was  the true 
heir to the Cassadine estate, she passed off another woman as Mr. 
Cassadine's daughter. Which is why we move to have Helena Cassadine removed 
as trustee of the Cassadine estate, immediately and with all due haste and 
appoint Mr. Cassadine as trustee in her place.
Justus:Your Honor, Ms. Davis has left a little information out of her 
recitation on the evils of Helena Cassadine and that's the face Mr. 
Cassadine was removed as trustee of the Cassadine estate, himself, for the 
very same reasons he's requesting that Mrs. Cassadine be removed as trustee. 
He defrauded the Cassadine estate, as well. He believed he was the father of 
the child known as Nikolas Cassadine and he passed him off as his brother, 
Stavros' child, so his son could inherit the Cassadine estate and had 
himself appointed as head of the House of Cassadine until young Mr. 
Cassadine reached majority. He's guilty of the exact same crime he's 
accusing his mother of, and yet, he thinks he should be appointed as trustee 
in her place.
Sonny(standing in the back of the courtroom)Which is why I'm the one who 
should be appointed as the new trustee of the Cassadine estate.(all heads 
turned to Sonny in shock).
Stefan(stands up and snarls)Corinthos! How dare you!
Judge:And who are you?
Sonny(comes forward)I'm Sonny Corinthos. Michael Corinthos' father.
Stefan:He's also an opportunist trying to take advantage of this situation 
to further his own ends.
Sonny:No what I am is a concerned father who wants to make sure his son's 
inheritance is safe from people who have already been proven untrustworthy 
and to protect my son from you and your mother. Being in control of the 
Cassadine estate is the only way I can see that I can do that.
Stefan(turns to the judge)You can't possibly consider putting him in charge 
of the House of Cassadine. Only a Cassadine by blood can be allowed to rule.
Sonny:Both you and your mother have proved you can't be trusted when it 
comes to the Cassadine estate. At least I'd be looking after my son's 
interest, not my own.
Stefan:How dare you suggest I'd try to cheat my grandson out of his rightful 
inheritance. Your Honor, are you aware this man is a gangster. He's nothing 
but a penny ante little hood who crawled from the slums of Brooklyn.
Sonny:If you want to get into name calling, Cassadine, I could think of a 
few choice ones to call you, too.
Judge(bangs his gavel)Enough! I'm going to adjourn to my chambers to give 
this matter some thought in privatae.
Stefan:But, Your Honor, you can't possible consider putting him in charge of 
the Cassadine estate.
Judge:(bangs his gavel one last time as he rises)This court is in recess.

Sonny's Penthouse:
Carly(opens the door to Robert and Anna)Rupert and Matilda...I mean, Mr. and 
Mrs. Scorpio, isn't it? What can I do for you.
Robert:May we come in.
Carly:Sure.
Anna;You must be thrilled by the way things have worked out for you, Carly.
Carly:I wouldn't exactly say thrilled was the right word for it. I'm, of 
course, happy that Sonny and I are back together. It's the only think I've 
wanted since he left me for Brenda.
Robert:And you did so much to accomplish is too, didn't you.
Carly:What is that supposed to mean. Maybe you should tell me exactly why 
you're here.
Anna:We know you were working with Helena to get Sonny back. We know you 
were in on Sonny being blackmailed into becoming a cat burglar.
Robert:We have audio tapes of you talking with Helena about it, so there's 
no need for you to try and deny it.
Anna:If Sonny finds out about that, something tells me your reunion will be 
very short-lived, indeed.
Carly:What do you want from me?
Robert:Your grandmother had kidnapped our son. We want your help in finding 
out what she's done with him. In return we'll kee your little secret from 
Sonny so you two can have that happy ending together you want so badly.
Carly:What makes you think I can help you find your son.
Anna;Your one of the few people close to Helena. She'll never suspect you of 
working for us. You can find out things for us that no one else can be your 
grandmother has no reason not to trust you.
Carly:And what if I refuse to help you.
Robert:Why then we'll play a certain tape for Sonny that you definitely 
don't want him to hear.
Sonny(enters)Well, the hearing is over, at least for now. Oh, I didn't know 
we had company. Mr. and Mrs. Scorpio, what are you doing here?
Carly:They just dropped by to explain to us why they were living under 
assumed names at the Brownstone when they first came back to town.
Sonny:That really wasn't necessary. I'm sure you must have had a good reason 
for what you did. Besides, it's really none of our business, anyway.
Robert:Actually, there's another reason we dropped by. We wanted to talk to 
you about Cesar Faison.
Sonny:Who's Cesar Faison?
Robert:He's the man whose been blackmailing you to steal for him.
