Carly's Room, General Hospital:
Carly(wakes up to find Sonny sleeping in a chair by her bedside)Sonny?
Sonny:(comes awake with a jerk)Carly? You're finally awake.
Carly:What happened? Is the baby...
Sonny:We have a little girl.
Carly:How is she?
Sonny:She's doing as well as can be expected considering she's two months 
premature.
Carly:It's not good, is it?
Sonny:Carly, every hour she's stays alive her chances get better that she's 
going to live to give me gray hairs when she starts dating. She's a fighter 
just like her mother and father. If we don't want her to give up, we can't 
give up on her, either. Speaking of which, I think we should think up a name 
to give her.
Carly:Sonny, if she doesn't make it, wouldn't it be better if we didn't give 
her a name. Wouldn't it make her a little less real to us and the pain a 
little less intense if we end up losing her.
Sonny:Whether or not we name her, it's not going to make it any easier if we 
lose her. I don't know. This is probably going to sound crazy, but I just 
feel is she knows that we've given her a name, it'll make her fight harder 
to stay alive than if we continue to let her be known as Baby Girl 
Corinthos. Like we already love her enough and have enough faith that she's 
going to survive to give her a name.
Carly:All right, what would you like to name her.
Sonny:I was thinking Adella Virginia Corinthos would be a good name for her. 
That way we could name her after my mother and your adoptive mother. So, 
what do you think? Is there some other name you'd like to name her?
Carly:No, actually I like Adella Virginia. It has a nice ring to it. So, 
what does our little girl look like.
Sonny:I haven't been in to see her, yet. I wanted to be here for you when 
you woke-up. But Mike took a look at her and he swears she looks just like 
me when I was her age.
Carly:Then she's going to be a real heart-breaker, just like her daddy.

Brenda's Quarter's, Helena's Yacht:
Brenda(as Helena enters)I can't believe you have the nerve to face me after 
what you've done to me.
Helena:There isn't anything I don't have the nerve for.
Brenda:I won't let you take my baby from me after it's born.
Helena:And how do you intend to stop me. After you chuck the little brat out 
of your womb, while you're exhausted from child birth and unable to move or 
defend, yourself, I'll simply hold a pillow over your face and that will be 
the end of you.
Brenda:What do you want from me. I still have over a month before I'm due to 
deliver.
Helena:I just thought I'd share the good news with you. Michael and Caroline 
have just had a daughter. Isn't that wondeful. They've named her Adella 
Virginia.
Brenda:You're lying. Carly isn't due for a couple of months, yet.
Helena:The baby is premature, which is actually a good thing. Michael is so 
worried abaout his newborn child surviving, he hasn't got time to even give 
you a second thought.
Brenda:That's a lie! Sonny loves me and he's going to find me. You just wait 
and see.
Helena:Believe what you like, but he isn't going to come for you. He 
certainly won't come in time to save you from your fate. Ms. Barrett, you 
look like the type who likes fairytales like Alice In Wonderland, Sleeping 
Beauty or the Wizard Of Oz. Well, in this little tale you find yourself in, 
you should consider yourself that whiny little Dorothy Gale. I'm the Wicked 
Witch Of The West. And that baby in your belly is the hourglass ticking off 
how much time you have left to live. Only, unlike Dorothy, you won't wake up 
to find out it was all a bad dream. Your nightmare will end when I take my 
yacht out into shark infested waters and I toss you over the side so they 
can devour you in a feeding frenzy. You have a pleasant evening, now, won't 
you, dear.(with that she storms out of the room leaving behind a terrified 
Brenda)

Scorpio House:
Anna(hangs up the phone)We'll have to delay approaching Sonny about helping 
us tae down Helena and Faison.
Robert:Why?
Anna:Carly just gave birth and the baby's chance of making it aren't very 
good. Sonny's mind is going to be on his child, not taking down Helena and 
Faison.
Robert:Actually, when you think about it, we really don't need Sonny's help 
as long as we can get Cassadine to cooperate with us. And after listening to 
the latest tape from Helena yacht, I think he will.
Anna:Why? Just what is on that tape, anyway?
Robert:It seems before Veronica Barrett left town, she succeeded in getting 
Stefan Cassadine to have sex with her and Cassadine obviously doesn't want 
Bobbie to find out about it. Anyway, Helena has threatened to show a tape of 
Stefan and Veronica getting it on to Bobbie to keep Stefan in line, only she 
was bluff, because there is no such tape. Once we tell Cassadine that, I'm 
sure he'll be more than willing t help us take down his mother.
Anna:That still leaves Faison and unfortunately, I still think the only way 
we can nail him is through Sonny Corinthos.

Neo-Natal Unit, General Hospital:
Sonny(to the nurse on duty)I'm Sonny Corinthos. Dr. Quartermaine said  could 
see my daughter.
Nurse:Before you go in, I'm going to need you to put on a surgical gown, 
mask and gloves. You can find them over there.(Sonny goes over to where 
she's pointed and puts on the gown, gloves and mask before entering the 
nursery. The nurse leads him over to the incubator that contains Adella)Here 
she is.
Sonny(looks down inside the incubator)She's so small.
Nurse:But her lungs and heart are fully developed.
Sonny:Is that a good sign?
Nurse:A very good sign. A lot of time premies' vital organs aren't fully 
developed when they're born. If she continues like she is, we'll be able to 
remove her from the incubator in a few days and you and your wife will 
finally be able to hold her. There's a place on the side of the incubator 
that you can stick your hand in if you'd like to touch her, though. I think 
when a baby is put in one of these sterilized enviroments it always helps 
them to feel a human touch. I'll leave you alone to get acquainted with your 
daughter, now.
Sonny(sticks his hand through the side of the incubator)Hi, there, Adella 
Virginia, I'm your daddy. That's what you mom and I have decided to call 
you. Adella after my mother and Virginia after hers. Adella, I know you 
heard what I said about not wanting you, but I want you to know I didn't 
mean it. That it's not true. You'll learn over time that your daddy has a 
bad temper and a big mouth to go with it. When I get mad half the things 
that come out of my mouth, I don't even mean.(the baby grabs hold of his 
finger)Wow! You may be little, but you've got one great grip on you, 
Della.(he suddenly notices Luke standing outside of the nursery observation 
window)Della, your Uncle Luke is here. He may have some news about your big 
brother, Michael. I've got to go, but I'll be back as soon as I can. I love 
you.(he leaves the Neo-Natal unit and goes out to see Luke)Have you got any 
news for me?
Luke:We've found Quartermaine. He's staying in a no-tell motel out by the 
airport.
Sonny:Let's go.
