Michael's Nursery, the Brownstone:
Sonny:What do you mean Michael's gone?
Carly:He's not in his crib. He's gone.
Sonny(rushes over to the crib)Maybe he climbed out of the crib and he's 
somewhere in the house.
Carly(shakes her head in denial)No, he's gone.
Sonny(grabs her by the arms and shakes her)Stop saying he's gone. Michael is 
not gone. Do you hear me!(Mike groans and Sonny ruses back to his side)Pop! 
Pop, can you hear me?
Mike:Michael, what happened?
Sonny:I was hoping you could tell me.
Mike:I was standing by Michael's crib when suddenly pain exploded in the 
back of my head and after that everything went black.
Sonny:Someone must have snuck up behind you and hit you.
Mike:Why would someone do that?
Sonny:Pop, someone may have taken Michael. He's missing.
Mike:What! Why would someone want to take Michael?
Carly:Oh, my god! I know who took Michael.(she rushes out)
Sonny:Carly, come back!

Veronica's Room, The Port Charles Hotel:
Veronica(runs her hand down Stefan's chest. It's clear from the look on his 
face her touch clearly repulses him)Stefan, that was incredible.
Stefan(shoves her hand away from him)This was a mistake that should have 
never happened. (there's a knock suddenly at the door)
Bobbie:Stefan, are you in there? It's Bobbie. I really need to speak to you.
Veronica(smiles, clearly pleased by Bobbie's arrival)Should I let her in.
Stefan(grabs her arm)Are you crazy? No! Barbara can't find me here with you 
like this. If were quiet and don't answer I'm sure she'll go away.(he hears 
her footsteps walking away from the door)See!(he climbs out of bed and 
starts getting dressed)
Veronica:But surely she'll have to know about us sometime. Wouldn't now be 
better than later.
Stefan:Why would Barbara ever have to know about this.
Veronica:Well, surely, when you tell Bobbie it's over between the two of 
you...
Stefan:What are you talking aboaut? I love Barbara and I have every 
intention of marrying her.
Veronica:But surely after what just happened here between us...
Stefan:Roberta, there is no us. I only had sex with you because you begged 
me to and I felt it was the least I owed you for the way I treated you in 
the past. I was merely trying to give you comfort over our daughter's death.
Veronica:No, Stefan, you can't mean that. I know it meant much more than 
that to you.
Stefan:Roberta, it meant absolutely nothing to me. In fact, I'm already 
regretting that it even happened. I think it would be best for you if you 
left Port Charles as soon as possible. There's nothing left for you here so 
there's no reason for you to remain any longer. Our daughter is dead and I'm 
going to marry Barbara. It would really be best for you if you were to leave 
town and start over fresh someplace new. If you like, I'll even give you a 
sum of money to settle yourself elsewhere.(with that he walks out the door 
without even giving her a backwards glance)Goodbye, Roberta.
Veronica(explodes once the door closes behind him)So you think you can buy 
me off, do you, Stefan? That if you pay me some hush money I'll just fade 
away quietly out of town? Oh, no, Stefan. After all I've done to get you 
into bed, you're not going to get rid of me that, easily. If anyone is oging 
to go around here, it's going to be Bobbie, not me.

Helena's Yacht:
Carly(storms in)All right, where is he! Where is my son. What have you done 
with him?
Helena:Caroline, what are you talking about.
Carly:You took him, didn't you. This is just another one of your schemes to 
make Sonny and I get close, just like killing Brenda was, isn't it?
Helena:Let me get this straight. Are you saying my grandson is missing?
Carly:Are you saying you're not the one who took him?
Helena:Of course I didn't. Why would I do such a thing as that. You must 
tell me everything that happened, at once. That child is the future of the 
Cassadine family and he must be found, immediately.

Michaels' Nursery:
Mike(is holding an icepack to his head when Sonny enters)So, did you find 
anything?
Sonny:No, I've searched the entire house and heh's not here. Carly's right. 
Michael is gone. Are you sure you're all right and you don't need to see a 
doctor?
Mike:I'm fine. Michael, do you have any idea who could have taken Michael 
and why?
Sonny:The only person I can think of is Helena Cassadine, but if she kidnaps 
Michael it'll ruin her plans to use him to control the Cassadine empire.(the 
phone rings)Hello?
AJ:Hello, Sonny.
Sonny:Quartermaine, why do you want? Look, I'm busy...
AJ(cuts him off)By now you must have realized Michael is gone.
Sonny:How do you know about Michael.
AJ:(chuckles)That's simple. I'm the one who took him.
Sonny:What! Where is he? What have you done with him. You bring him back!
AJ:Not a chance, Sonny. Michael's mine now. How does it feel, Sonny, to have 
your son taken away from you. That's what you did to me when you lied about 
being his father.
Sonny:Damn you! You know it isn't a lie! You know I'm really Michael's 
father!
AJ:Well, it no longer matters because I'm Michael's father, now. When I 
heard Brenda say at the party that you and Carly were going to have another 
baby together, I knew what I had to do. It wasn't fair for you to have two 
babies and me to have none. Now we both have one.(he hangs up the phone)
Sonny:Quartermaine! Quartermaine!
Carly(enters)What's going on? Has there been any news on Michael?
Sonny(slams down the phone and glares at Carly's stomach)Damn that baby! It 
caused Brenda's death and now it's to blame for Michael being kidnapped. I 
wish to god it had never been conceived.(with that he storms out)
Mike;Carly, Michael didn't mean thata. He's just upset. And when he gets 
upset he has a tendency to lash out at the first person in his path. And in 
this case, it was you and the baby.
Carly(holding a hand protectively to her stomach)Oh, no, Mike, he meant it. 
He meant every word of it. God, I should have never listened to her. I 
should have told Sonny about the baby the minute I found out. If I had 
Brenda wouldn't be dead and Sonny wouldn't feel such resentment towards his 
own child.

Helena's Yacht:
Helena(enters a room lined with monitors along one wall)So, how is Ms. 
Barrett settling into her new living arrangements.
Jagger(turns to her)She's doing just fine. You know we're going to have a 
hard time keeping her presence here a secret from Veronica, though.
Helena:That won't be a problem for very much longer. I've decided that 
Veronica has served her usefulness to me and it's time for her to be 
disposed of.
Jagger:I'm surprised you wanted Brenda saved ata the last minute.
Helena:I'd love nothing more than to dispatch the little tramp, but she's of 
a use to me, for the time being. I need to be able to control my 
granddaughter's husband and I can use Ms. Barrett's child to do that. Once 
Sonny Corinthos' child is born and in my posession, he'll have no choice but 
to do what I say.
Jagger:What about after Brenda gives birth to Sonny's child.
Helena:She'll have outlived her usefulness just like her mother Veronica, 
has. On to more important matters. My grandson Michael is missing. Perhaps 
even kidnapped.  want you to find him for me, immediately.
