A Bedroom Upstairs, Wyndemere:
Brenda:She's pregnant with your child!
Sonny:Brenda, how long have you been standing there?
Brenda:Long enough. Is it true? Is she pregnant with your child?
Carly(gets out of bed)See for yourself.(she runs her hand over her swollen 
middle)It's kind of funny, isn't it? Your further along than I am, but I'm 
showing more than you are. Wouldn't it be something if I were actually 
pregnant with twins or triplets or maybe even sextuplets? Wouldn't you just 
love that, Brenda. Just think of it. There'd be seven or eight little Sonny 
and Carly's running all over the place at the same time.
Sonny:Shut up, Carly! And while you're at it, get dressed!
Carly:(smirks at Sonny)Whatever you want, brown eyes. And I'll forgive you 
for being so terse with me. After all, this is a very awkward position 
you've found yourself in at the moment, isn't it? Not too many men get 
caught by the other woman after just making incredible, hot, passionate love 
to their wives.
Brenda(suddenly gets hit by the full impact of the situation)My god, you're 
naked! You both are. When I came in here you were in that bed together 
naked! You had sex with her, didn't you? How could you do this to me, Sonny!
Sonny:Brenda, it's not the way it looks. I can explain.
Brenda:Did you or did you not have sex with her? Answer me!
Sonny(throws back the bedsheets as he gets out of bed and pulls on his 
pants)Yes, I did, but I didn't know who I was having sex with. I thought 
Carly was you. She tricked me into thinking she was you.
Brenda:What do you think I am? Stupid! How could you make love with her 
without knowing it wasn't me?
Carly:Hey, Stupid, if you'll remember, until a few minutes ago there was a 
blackout. Sonny couldn't see who he was making love to. And if you'll notice 
the dress I'm now wearing, it's identical to the one you have on. And by 
your feet is the wig and mask I used to trick Sonny into thinking I was you. 
You see, Brenda, I pulled the same stunt on Sonny that you did at your own 
engagement ball, only I did it much better. How does it feel to have the 
shoe on the other foot for a change. Not very nice, is it?
Sonny:Brenda, I swear, if I'd known it was Carly, I'd have never slept with 
her. You know how much I love you. I'd never knowingly betray you like this.
Brenda:Oh, really? Then what do you call not telling me Carly was really 
Stefan Cassadine's daughter? You knew I believed I was Stefan's daughter, 
and you knew I really wasn't. How could you let me set myself up for the 
heartbreak of learning I wasn't really his daughter. You owed it to me to 
tell me the truth, but you didn't say a word to me. What do you call that if 
not a betrayal.
Sonny:It wasn't my secret to tell. Carly told me the truth in confidence and 
made me promise not to tell anyone else. I couldn't break my promise to her. 
I gave her my word.
Brenda:So keeping your word to her was much more important to you than me. 
You haven't just betrayed me once, you've betrayed me twice and both times 
with her.
Sonny:Brenda, that's not true. I love you.(he tries to put his arms around 
her but she recoils from his touch)
Brenda:(bacs away from him)Don't touch me. Don't ever touch me again. You 
just stay away from me. (she runs out of the room)
Sonny(pulls on his shirt as he runs after her)Brenda, come back!(Carly 
follows after Sonny)
Stefan(sees Brenda come flying down the stairs and meets her at the bottom 
of the staircase)Brenda, what's wrong? What is it?
Brenda:I've got to get out of here!
Sonny(comes rushing down the stairs after her with his shirt hanging 
open)Brenda, please, you've got to give me a chance to explain. We're going 
to have a baby together. We can't just let it end this way.
Brenda(turns to him and snarls)In case you've forgotten, Carly's also going 
to have your baby, too.
Stefan:What!
Brenda(turns back to Stefan and appeals to him)Please keep him away from me. 
Please keep him here so I can get off the island without him trying to 
follow me.
Stefan:Whatever you want, darling. (Brenda rushes out the front door and 
when Sonny tries to follow after her, Stefan grabs him by the arms in a 
steal grip)Oh, no you don't! You've done enough to that girl, already. You 
leave her alone.
Sonny:Get your hands off of me, Cassadine!
Stefan(attention is drawn to Carly as she appears at the top of the 
stairs)Why do I have a feeling this is all your fault?
Carly(smirks down at him)I didn't do anything to Brenda that she hasn't done 
to me in the past. Only I did it better. (Sonny finally breaks free of 
Stefan's grip and runs out the front door after Brenda)
Stefan:Corinthos! You come back here!(he chases after Sonny)
Bobbie(meets Carly at the bottom of the stairs)Carly, what have you done 
this time?
Carly:What I had to do. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to make sure my 
husband doesn't catch up with his mistress. If I'm lucky, maybe she'll even 
leave town before he can stop her.
Bobbie(grabs her by the arm to stop her)Carly, I need to know what you did 
with that locket I gave you that your father gave me.
Carly:It's in my jewelry box at the penthouse.
Bobbie:Can I have it back?
Carly:Sure, be my guest. I certainly have no use for it.(Carly heads out the 
front door to catch up with Sonny and Stefan)
Bobbie:(goes over to Mrs. Lansbury)Mrs. Lansbury, I need you to tell 
Stefan's pilot to meet me at the helicopter pad. I need him to fly me to the 
mainland, immediately.

Grounds Of Spoon Island:
Anna:I think I saw her headed this way.
Robert:You know, Anna, I just don't believe this. We finally catch up with 
that nitwit when the power comes back on, but before we can get to her and 
make sure she stays safe, this time, she takes off running, again. What kind 
of moron goes running around by herself after she's been warned someone is 
trying to kill her.
Anna:Robert, look! Isn't that Veronica Barrett over there?
Robert:(looking around wildly)Where?
Anna:(points)Over there by the bushes.
Robert:Yeah, it is her. Come on. Let's follow her. If we can't keep an eye 
on the potential victim, we'll keep the potential killer in our sights.

The Boat Dock, Spoon Island:
Sonny(catches up with Brenda as she's about to climb in a boat and he stops 
her)Sweetheart, you've got to let me explain. You can't just leave me like 
this. We've got to sit down and talk this whole thing out. Brenda, what 
happened between Carly and me meant nothing to me.
Brenda:(shakes his hands off her)Really? And is the reason you're still 
wearing your wedding ring, because it means nothing to you, either? You 
know, I really wanted to believe the reasons you gave me when you didn't 
feel comfortable taking off your wedding ring until you and Carly were 
legally divorced. But you know what I think? I think the real reason you 
don't want to take your wedding ring off, is because deep down you don't 
really want to be divorced from Carly and that ring is your last hold to 
your marriage to her.
Sonny:Brenda, that's not true!
Stefan(rushes up behind Sonny and pins his arms behind his back)Go on, 
Brenda, get in the boat. I've got him. I'll make sure he doens't follow you.
Sonny:(struggle to break free of his grasp)Let go of me, Cassadine!
Stefan:Not a chance. In fact, I'm going to do everything in my power to make 
sure you never get within a hundred feet of her, again.
Brenda(as she climbs into the boat)Thank you, Stefan, and I'm sorry. (she 
gives Sonny one last look)Goodbye, Sonny. This time it's for good.
Robert(and Anna watch Veronica creep as close to the boat dock as she can 
get without being seen)What is she doing? There's Sonny and Stefan. And 
Brenda's just climbed into a boat.
Anna:I think she's got something in her hand? But I can't see what it is? Do 
you think it might be a gun?
Robert:No, it's too small.
Sonny(continues to struggle in Stefan's arms as Brenda starts the boat and 
it leaves the docks)Brenda! Come back!
Carly(arrives on the scene)What do you think you're doing to my husband. 
Take your hands off of him.
Stefan:(snarls at her)Not a chance. Just stay out of this, Mrs. Corinthos. 
You've caused enough trouble for one night.
Robert:My god! I think she's holding a detonation device in her hand.
Anna;Robert! The boat!(they rush forward to stop Veronica, just as she 
presses the button on the detonation device and the boat explodes in a burst 
of flames and flying debris)
