Port Charles Grille:
Stefan:Roberta? From Fort Lauderdale? Is it really you?
Veronica:Yes, it's me. So you remember me.
Stefan:Of course. What are you doing here?
Veronica:I was just about to ask you the same thing. Do you live in 
Port Charles with your wife or are you just in town visiting like I 
am.
Stefan:I live here. You say you're here visiting? Are you here with 
your husband.
Veronica:No, I'm divorced. Cass, would you join me for a drink. Now 
that we've finally found each other, again, I'm not ready to let you 
go so soon. 
Stefan:I'd love to. (they take a seat at the bar and order their 
drinks)So, Roberta, just what do you do for a living. When we were 
together in Florida you never mentioned what you wanted to do with 
your life.
Veronica:Neither did you. We didn't really talk much about ourselves, 
did we.
Stefan:Well, we weren't really together that long. You know, I've 
always felt bad how I ended things with you.
Veronica:I never held any ill feelings against you for it. We both 
came to Fort Lauderdale looking for a spring fling and that's what we 
got. It would have ended, eventually, when spring break was over. It's 
not like we would have continued it, once we went back to school.
Stefan:I suppose you're right.
Veronica(spots Bobbie entering)Oh, look at the time. I've really got 
to go. I'll be in Port Charles for a little while longer. If you'd 
like to get together, again, and talk over old time, I'm in Room 312. 
Drop by anytime, day or night.
Stefan:I'd like that. I feel like we have unfinished business together 
and we need closure, so maybe I will. Just how long will you be 
staying in our fair city, anyway?
Veronica:For about a wee. So anytime between now a Friday will be 
fine. Now, I've really got to go. I'll be looking forward to hearing 
from you and catching up on old times. Bye.
Bobbie(comes up behind Stefan as he watches Veronica head back to 
Faison's table) So, who was that woman you were talking to, Stefan? 
You can't seem to take your eyes off her.
Stefan(turns around to Bobbie, guiltily)Barbara, how long have you 
been standing there.
Bobbie:Long enough to see you sitting with that woman and talking to 
her. So, who is she?
Stefan:She's just some woman I struck up a conversation with while I 
was waiting for you. You're not jealous, are you?
Bobbie:Should I be?
Stefan:No, you're the only woman in my life and the only woman I want 
in my life.
Bobbie:Good, I'm glad to hear it. We've gotten back to the point where 
we were when we first got married and I don't want anything to screw 
things up, this time. Last time, just as we were growing close, you 
became obsessed with Katherine Bell and I don't want history to repeat 
itself.
Faison:(as Veronica sits down)So, how did it go?
Veronica:I put out the bait. I told him what room I'm staying in in 
the hotel and that's I'll be here until the end of the week. But we 
won't know if it worked unless he contacts me and wants us to meet, 
again.

Kelly's Diner:
AJ(enters and sits at the counter)So, how's it going, Sonny.
Sonny:What do you want, Quartermaine.
AJ:I have something for you. (he hands Sonny a paper)
Sonny(looking at it)What is this?
AJ:You've just been subpoenaed to testify in court at the custody 
hearing for Michael. I told the, I'd serve you in person.
Sonny:You want me to testify for you? Have you been sucking on a 
bottle of scotch, again. Are you forgetting that I'm married to Carly. 
Anything I say in court will be in her favor.
AJ:You'll be testifying about your marriage to Carly. I always though 
how you and Carly got married just as it looked like she was going to 
lose custody was pretty fishy. And since you've left Carly, I think 
it's proof your marriage was never real in the first place. You just 
married Carly so she could keep custody.
Sonny:Whether I did or not, you'll never be able to prove it. So you 
can take your subpoena and shove it where the sun don't shine.
AJ:Oh, but that's where you're wrong, Sonny. You see, I'm also going 
to have Brenda testify at the hearing. I bet she knows if your 
marriage to Carly only happened so she could keep custody of my son 
and I bet Brenda will be more than willing to admit it in court. And 
if she does, you'll have no choice but to confirm what Brenda said.(he 
heads for the door)I'll see you in court, Sonny.
Sonny(as he unties his apron)Tammy, did you hear that?
Tammy:Yeah, what are you going to do about it?
Sonny:I'm going over to see Carly. Can you look after the place alone 
while I'm gone.
Tammy:Sure, but you do know you're heading for trouble, Sunshine, 
don't you? When Brenda finds out you went over to see Carly, again, 
she isn't going to like it.
Sonny:She'll understand once I explain everything to her.(he rushes 
out as Luke is coming in)
Luke:Where was Sonny heading in such a hurry.
Tammy:Trouble. He's heading for trouble.
Luke:Is it true what I heard? That Sonny and Brenda have moved into 
the Brownstone?
Tammy:Yeah, they just did, this morning.
Luke:It was about time. I've missed not being able to be with you 
because they were living here.
Tammy:Will you be by, tonight?
Luke:You can count on it.

Outdoor Cafe, San Remos:
Anna(clinks her glass against Robert's)To us on completing another 
Robert Devane murder mystery.
Robert:I think this was out best one, yet, luv.
Anna:It was definitely our most passionate one.
Robert:Yes, working on those love scenes our sleuthing couple 
experienced was very invigorating.
Anna:So, who should we kill off next in our next novel and how should 
we do it.
Robert:In the first murder mystery we wrote together we killed off 
Faison by having him electrocuted in the bathtub. In the second we had 
Olivia Jerome squashed to death in an elevator shaft. And in the one 
we just finished we have Mr. Wu stabbed in the heart with a hat pin 
with a black pearl on the end of it. What will we do when we run out 
of enemies to murder off in our books?
Anna:Robert, I don't think we have anything to worry about on that 
score. We haven't even scratched the surface of our enemies, yet.(she 
notices a man walking by their table)Dr. Gates, is that you?
Gates:(looks visibly nervous at seeing her)Miss Devane, what are you 
doing here?
