Brenda:What did you say?
Jagger:Don't pretend like you don't know.
Brenda:That's a lie.
Jagger:Come on, Brenda, why else do you think Cassadine gave you a job 
modeling when no one else in the modeling world would touch you with a ten 
foot pole. It's nepotism pure and simple
Brenda:Just what makes you think that Stefan Cassadine is my father.
Jagger:I overheard him and Bobbie talking about it.
Brenda(stares at Stefan and Bobbie in shock)No, it can't be true. Stefan 
Cassadine just can't be my father.

Helena's Yacht:
Carly(enters)Hello, Grandmother.
Helena:Caroline, my dear, why do you look so down. I thought you'd be on top 
of the world from the adventure you and Michael just went on in Paris.
Carly:I was until my session with Dr. Collins. I told him I was pregnant and 
he told me that Sonny could still go through with the divorce even after he 
finds out about my pregnancy. Grandmother, what if Dr. Collins is right. If 
I really thought I was going to lose Sonny to Brenda, I don't know if I 
could handle it.
Helena:Darling, don't listen to that quack. Just because he has some fancy 
certificate he thinks he knows it all. But he doesn't. You and I know 
better. You're not going to lose Michael. I'll make sure of that. Didn't I 
promise you if you trusted me Michael would be yours and all yours for the 
rest of your lives.
Carly:Yes, you did.
Helena:And I always deliver on my promises. I think I know something that 
will cheer you up. As we speak, your Michael is being given another 
assignment by my friend. You and Michael will be going on another adventure 
together. And just think of it, my dear. As soon as the little twit returns 
from her tour, Michael will have to start telling her one lie after another 
to cover his tracks and to prevent her from finding out about his new 
lifestyle. And the more he has to lie to her, the more he'll start pulling 
away from her and the lifestyle he has to live to be with her and the more 
he'll be drawn to you and the world he loves to live in. Won't that be 
wonderful, my dear.

The Docks:
Nik:(and Robert are sitting on a crate eating their lunch)What's that 
supposed to be?
Robert(makes a face at the sandwich Anna made him for lunch)I think it's my 
wife's idea of a tuna fish sandwich.
Nik:What are all those little white chips in it?
Robert:(looking closely at it)I think it's eggshells. Yeah, there's some 
runny egg yolks. She must have decided to put some chopped hard-boiled eggs 
in with the tuna and got some shells in it in the process. Or maybe she 
chopped up the egg without peeling the shell off, first.
Nik:And why is it that color?
Robert:You've got me on that one. As you can see, I didn't marry my wife for 
her culinary skills. Speaking of which, how would you like to come over to 
our apartment, tonight, for dinner. Don't worry, I promise I won't let my 
wife near the stove. We'll order in take-out.
Anna:(standing behind Robert)I heard that, Rupert. Has my husband been 
entertaining you with horror tales about my cooking? He exaggerates. I know 
how to cook.
Robert:I'd say the proof is in the sandwich, lub. By the way, why is it 
green?
Anna:I wanted to make it look more festive looking, so I purt some green 
food coloring in the tuna fish.
Robert:(looks to Nikolas)Well, after that, I'm sure you won't want to come 
for dinner, tonight, Nikolas.(then he turns to Anna) Matilda, this is 
Nikolas.
Anna(gives him a searching look that takes in every feature of his face as 
she shakes his hand)It's nice to meet you, Nikolas. Please do come for 
dinner. I'd really like to get to know you better.
Nik:All right, I'll come. I'd better call my girlfriend Robin and tell her I 
can't have dinner with her, tonight.(he heads to the pay phone ont he docks)
Robert(watching him walk away)So what do you think of him...our son.
Anna:He looks so much like me. Just like Robin. But I guess that doesn't 
matter, since Robin isn't even my biological child.
Robert:Are you sorry I invited him over for dinner, tonight.
Anna:No, now that I've finally seen him, I want to get to know all there is 
to know about him. What his likes and dislikes are. What his favorite color 
is. You know, all the things a normal mother knows about her grown son. And 
I want him to get to know me...to know us.
Robert:Something tells me you didn't just come down here to finally get 
acquainted with our son.
Anna:Helena gives grandmother's a bad name. We now have the answer to why 
Helena is getting Faison to blackmail Sonny Corinthos into being a sneak 
thief with his wife. It's part of some elaborate plan of Helena's to 
break-up Sonny Corinthos and Brenda Barrett so he'll stay married to Carly. 
And Carly is in on it with Helena. That's how Helena has gotten her hooks 
into Carly. By promising Carly she could make sure Carly doesn't lose her 
husband to Brenda.
Robert:Which also explains why she wants Brenda Barrett disposed of. With 
her gone, so will be gone the threat to Sonny and Carly's marriage. And if 
Helena's able to manage to keep Sonny and Carly married, Carly will be 
eternally grateful to Grandma Helena and feel indebted to her for the rest 
of her life.
Anna;And controlling Carly is the key to controlling Baby Michael. So it's 
looking more and more like Brenda Barrett isn't really Stefan Cassadine's 
daughter, after all.
Robert:I agree. Helena's pulling the same number on Stefan Cassadine that 
she pulled on us.
Anna:Taking control of Stefan's real daughter while passing off someone who 
isn't even related to Stefan Cassadine as his daughter.

Bobbie and Stefan's Bedroom, Aspen:
Stefan:Was it just me or was Brenda acting strange at dinner, tonight.
Bobbie:I noticed it, too. She seemed kind o f withdrawn and quiet. While up 
until now she's been pretty upbeat and chatty. I don't know. Maybe she's 
just missing Sonny.(there's a knock at their door)
Stefan:I'll get it.(it's Brenda)Brenda? Barbara and I were just talking 
about you.
Brenda:I bet you just were. I tried to ignore this and just forget about it, 
but I've got to know the truth. Is it true? Are you my father.
