The Brownstone:
Carly:(and Sonny enter)Well, it's good to be back home. You were awfully quiet on the plane ride home. What's up?
Sonny:I was thinking of how I'm going to get the upper hand over our nameless friend. Of how I'm going to find out who he really is.
Carly:Any ideas.
Sonny:None so are. The only thing I could come up with was playing along with him until he becomes complacent then when he drops his guard I'll follow him after he leaves one of our meetings and see where he goes. As plans go, it's pretty lame, so far. (the phone rings)Hello?
Brenda:Baby, where have you been. I've been trying to reach you all night.
Sonny:Brenda, I've been right here all night long. I don't know why you couldn't reach me. I guess there must have been something wrong with the line so you couldn't get through. So, how are things going in Martha's Vineyard.
Brenda:Stefan rented this incredible mansion for us to stay in. Oh, baby, I wish you were her to enjoy it with me. It's no fun without you.
Sonny:I wish I was, too.
Jagger:(comes up behind Brenda and runs his finger downt he middle of her back)I waited for you to come to my bed, last night. Why didn't you come.
Sonny:Brenda, who was that? I couldn't catch what they were saying to you.
Brenda:It was just a servant reminding me it's time to be leaving for the airport. We're on to the next leg of the tour. Aspen. I'll call you when I get there.
Sonny:I'll look forward to it.
Brenda:I love you, baby.
Sonny:I love you, too.(he hangs up the phone)
Carly(standing behind him)You lie to her so easily, Sonny. Doesn't that tell you something about your relationship or lack thereof.
Sonny:I only lied to Brenda because I don't want her dragged into this mess, too. As soon as I figure a way our of this mess, I'll tell Brenda everything.
Carly:Sure you will.

The Docks:
Robert(watching Helena's yacht through a pair of binoculars as Anna approaches)Nothing new from the bug?
Anna:No, not unless you consider Helena doing her latest cabana boy interesting.
Robert:Did the picture of Veronica Barrett finally come through.
Anna:That's why I'm here.(she hands him the picture)I still can't figure out what Helena Cassadine would have to do with someone like Veronica Barrett. Much less Stefan Cassadine.
Robert:It must have something to do with her daughter, Brenda. Remember, Veronica said she was worried about a meeting occuring between her and Brenda after Stefan Cassadine tells her he's her father.
Anna:So that would suggest Stefan Cassadine doesn't know who Veronica Barrett really is. If it's Veronica Barrett that we're really dealing with, here.
Robert:Oh, it's Veronica Barrett, all right.
Anna:How can you be so sure?
Robert:Because she just came off of Helena's yacht.(he hands her the binoculars)Take a look.(Anna looks through the binoculars and sees Veronica climbing aboard the launch). That is Veronica Barrett, isn't it?
Anna:Her hair is a different color, but, yes, that's her.
Robert:When she reaches the docks we'll follow her and see where she goes.

Helena's Yacht:
Helena(as Faison enters)So, how did things go in Paris.
Faison:Perfectly, I've added the Renoir to my art collection. How are things going on other fronts.
Helena:Jagger just phoned in a few minutes ago. Stefan still hasn't told the little twit he's her father.
Faison:Have you thought of a way to keep Stefan and Bobbie from going to Florida together.
Helena:As a matter-of-fact, I have.
Faison:Well, don't keep me in suspense.
Helena:I figure if Ms. Barrett discovers Stefan is her father before Stefan has a chance to tell her, this tour will come to a crashing halt. So, I've instructed Jagger to do so at the first opportune moment.
Faison:Have you thought about the fall-out from that little bombshell when everyone learns Brenda Barrett is Stefan's daughter. And I'm not talking abaout Stefan and Ms. Barrett.
Helena:You mean Carly and Veronica.
Faison:Yes, Carly and Veronica.
Helena:Well, for starters, Veronica can never know I'm the one who let the cat out of the bag. Since I'll be bringing imminent disaster down on her head unless she kills Brenda, at once.
Faison:Not to mention your dear little granddaughter, Carly. She may have not wanted to pursue a relationship with Stefan when you told her he was her father, but something tells me that may change is she sees her father bonding with his "other daughter". I mean, first Brenda Barrett steals her husband from her, and now her father. She'll become like a ticking time bomb just waiting to explode.
Helena:Which is why it's become even more important than ever that Brenda Barrett be disposed of, immediately.

Robert and Anna's Apartment, the Brownstone:
Anna(turns off the receiver)So what do you make of that, especially after what we learned when we followed Veronica Barrett.
Robert:You're right, there's something not right about this whole situation. So what do we know, so far?
Anna:Veronica Barrett is going around pretending to be someone named Roberta Anderson. Which would explain why she doesn't want her daughter to see her, since Brenda Barrett could reveal she isn't really Roberta Anderson, after all. Which suggests since Veronica works at Deception, which Stefan Cassadine owns, that he has no idea who she really is.
Robert:Then there's the fact that both Carly and Brenda are Helena Cassadine's granddaughters. But while Helena is apparently trying to help Carly remain married to Sonny Corinthos, she's plotting the demise of her other granddaughter, Brenda.
Anna:Robert, isn't it a little coincidental that two women who hare in love with the same man also share the same father.
Robert:Stranger things have happened, luv.
Anna:I don't know. There's just something about this whole thing that just feels off to me.
Robert:I know what you mean. I feel it, too. But maybe when we get a copy of Brenda Barrett's birth records things will start to make more sense.
Anna:At least we know why Helena doesn't want Stefan and Bobbie to go to Florida together. Stefan Cassadine must be this "Cass" Bobbie mentioned to me. Which means Bobbie doesn't realize that this Cass is really Stefan Cassadine. And Helena's afraid if Bobbie does go to Florida, she's going to realize it.
Robert:Which brings to mind a new question. Does Stefan Cassadine know he's the father of Bobbie's daughter?
Anna:No he can't know, otherwise it would make no difference to Helena if Bobbie and Stefan went to Florida together. She's obviously afraid Stefan is going to realize he's Carly's father and for some reason she doesn't want that to happen.
