The Brownstone:
Sonny(after he and Brenda finish their tour of the brownstone)So, what 
do you think?
Brenda:This really wasn't what I had in mind when I thought of us 
getting a bigger place to live.
Sonny:I know this isn't the penthouse, but until we rent out the other 
apartments, it'll be like we have this big old house all to 
ourselves. 
Brenda:Sonny, I just feel funny about living in your furture 
ex-mother-in-law's house. Instead of breaking all your ties with 
Carly, you seem to be developing new ones.
Sonny:Brenda, I'm always going to feel tied to Carly. Carly and I were 
married, after all, and nothing is ever going to be able to change 
that fact, but I'm with you now.
Brenda:Yes, but I'm well aware it was a very near thing. Even when you 
were married to Lily, I knew she was no real threat to us. I knew you 
didn't really love her and that we'd eventually get back together. 
But Carly is a different matter. As much as I hate admitting this, you 
and she are so much alike, you're like two halves of the same coin and 
because of that you're drawn to her. And it's not a comforting thought 
knowing if I hadn't come back, you'd have been very happy being 
married to Carly.
Sonny:Don't you think I feel the exact same way about Jagger. If 
Jagger hadn't had picked Karen over you, you wouldn't have ever given 
me a second look. There is always going to be a draw between you and 
Jagger. We both saw that that was true, last night.
Brenda:But the difference is I was never married to Jagger, but 
you're still married to Carly. I don't know. Maybe once you and Carly 
are divorced things will get better.
Sonny(takes an envelope out of his pocket)Then I guess I have goods 
news for you.(he hands her the envelope) The date for my divorce 
hearing has been set.
Brenda(throws her arms around him and squeals in delight)Oh, this is 
wonderful. In two weeks time you'll finally be free of Carly. Then 
maybe you'll finally remove your wedding ring.
Sonny:I know it bothers you because I haven't taken it off, yet, but I 
just don't feel right about it until I'm legally divorced from Carly. 
I have an idea. Let's make a big ceremony out of it. I mean, when you 
get married you place a ring on your finger. So when I'm officially 
free of Carly, why don't we have a candlelight dinner, followed by 
dancing and just before we make love you can remove my wedding ring 
from me.
Brenda:I think that sounds like a wonderful idea, baby.(she runs her 
fingers through his hair)I love you.
Sonny:I love you, too.(they melt into a kiss and sink to the floor as 
they begin making love)

Helena's Yacht:
Carly(storms in waving the paper setting a court date for her divorce 
around)I thought you told me you could delay the court date for my 
divorce hearing for months. Well, they've set it for two weeks from 
today. I knew I shouldn't have listened to you at the airport. I 
should of went up to Sonny while he was kissing Brenda and told him 
not only was I pregnant with his child, but Michael was also his son, 
as well. Well, I'm not going to wait any longer. I'm going to go to 
Sonny, right now, and tell him before this divorce can go any further.
Helena:No, you will not. What you will do is sit down and listen to 
what I have to say.
Carly:Fine, I'll listen to what you have to say, but that doesn't mean 
I'm going to change my mind.
Helena:Of course not, that is you decision, my dear. Now as for the 
reason your divorce hearing has been set for two weeks from, today, 
it's because I had it set for that day, myself.
Carly:You did what! Why you double-crossing miserable old...
Helena:Silence! Let me finish. I've also had the custody hearing for 
my great grandson set for a week from, today.
Carly:Why?
Helena:My dear, you're a natural born manipulator, but you know 
absolutely nothing about the art of toying with your victim the way a 
cat toys with a mouse. My dear, you're the cat in this situation and 
Ms. Barrett is your mouse. Right now, she's on top of the world 
believing in two weeks time our Michael will be all hers two weeks 
from, today. But because the custody hearing has been set a week 
before the divorce hearing that means eventhough you'll absolutlely 
hate doing it, mere days before your divorce hearing is scheduled for, 
you'll have to go to Michael and tell him he's really Young Michael's 
father to stop the annoying Mr. Quartermaine from taking your son away 
from you. And just as Ms. Barrett thinks she's going to have 
everything she wants, she's going to have the rug pulled right out 
from under her. Manipulations are always more effective when you can 
set your victim up for a great fall in the process. And, of course, 
once the court is aware that you and Michael share a child together, 
your divorce will have to be delayed while you and Michael's lawyers 
iron out the matter of custody and visitation rights.
Carly:Grandmother, I'm so sorry I ever doubted you.
Helena:Don't ever do it, again. I'll overlook it once, but not twice. 
Now I'd like to talk to you about something. Why did you tell your 
husband I'm your grandmother. I thought we agreed to keep that our own 
little secret that only we shared.
Carly:Grandmother, I had to. I needed to tell someone about you and it 
just seemed so natural to tell Sonny.
Helena:But what if he tells your mother or Luke.
Carly:He won't. Grandmother, Sonny would never break a promise he made 
to me and he promised he wouldn't tell anyone and I trust him and so 
should you.

Port Charles Grille:
Faison(and Veronica are sitting at a table together. Veronica now has 
red hair and she's dressed similar to Bobbie.)There he is. (Faison 
points out Stefan as he enters)There's your prey, my dear. Go to it.
Veronica:Wish me luck, Cesar.
Faison:(kisses her hand)You won't need luck, my dear. He'll be putty 
in your hands.(he lights up a cigar and watches her as she walks over 
to Stefan)
Veronica(accidentally bumps into Stefan)Oh, excuse me...(she gasps in 
shock when she looks at him)My god, Cass...Cass Stephens, is it really 
you?
Stefan:I think you have me confused with somebody else.
Veronica:Cass, don't you remember me? It's me, Roberta. Roberta 
Anderson.
