Helena's Yacht:
Carly(enters and throws her arms around Helena)Thank you, Grandmother.
Helena:My dear, just what are you thanking me for.
Carly:You said Sonny and I would become partner's in crime and now it's happening.
Helena:You don't mind?
Carly:Mind? Are you kidding? Sonny an I are going to be cat burglars. I love it. It's going to be so much fun.
Helena:I doubt your husband thinks so.
Carly:That's because he's stubborn and doesn't like to be told what to do. But once were doing it, I know he's going to love it. Sonny's problem is he's forgotten the adrenalin rush he used to get from living life on the edge. He's made himself forget so he could pretend he was happy with the life he has to lead to be with Brenda.
Helena:You do understand, Caroline, this isn't a game. This is real. Stealing the sapphire from me was a set-up where I was in control of the situation and nothing could go wrong. But when you and Michael try to steal the Renoir, you two will be entirely on your own and will have to rely on each other's wits to save yourself if something should happen to go wrong.
Carly:I know that. Besides, it wouldn't be any fun if there wasn't the element of risk. The risk is what makes living on the edge so exciting.
Helena:Just so you know what you're getting yourself and your husband into.
Carly:Oh, I know and I can't wait. And the best part is Sonny and I will be spending time together without Brenda being involved.

Veronica's Office, Deception:
Veronica(holds a bottle of perfume "Stefan" sent her under her nose and inhales deeply)Oh, Stefan, I do so love your taste in scents.(she picks up the card that was enclosed with the perfume and reads it)This scene could never smell as sweet as you. Oh, Stefan, you must be the most romantic man in the entire world.
Stefan(enters)Roberta, I just thought I hsould tell you if you want to contact me for anything, I won't be availabe for the next two weeks. I'm talking Brenda on a two-week nationwide promotional tour for Deception. It's really too bad you aren't ready to pursue a relationship with our daughter, yet. This would have been the perfect opportunity for the three of us to bond together like a family.
Veronica:I know you don't agree with my decision, Stefan, but I really do think it's for the best. Just where are you going on this promotional tour, anyway?
Stefan:We're going to make stops in Martha's Vineyard, Aspen, San Francisco, Atlanta and Miami Beach.
Veronica(sighs)Florida, the place you and I met and fell in love. Have you been back to Florida since we were there and things ended between us.
Stefan:No, and I have to admit I'm a little hesitant about going back there. Maybe you're right. Maybe it is for the best that you won't be going with Brenda and I on this trip. If the two of us were back in Florida together after all these years, it could stir up all the old memories and feelings between us that we buried long ago. Actually, I think it's for the best that Barbara will be going on this promotional tour with me, instead. It's as it should be. And once I'm in Florida with Barbara, we can make some new memories together.
Veronica:Bobbie's going with you?
Stefan:Yes, I've decided to make the trip a bit of a pre-wedding honeymoon for the two of us. Lately, Barbara and I haven't had the chance to spend much quality time together and this trip should rectify that situation. If you'd have come along with Brenda and I, I would have had to leave Barbara home, so you and I could have bonded with Brenda. So, I guess things have really worked out for the best in the long run. Now I can take Barbara with me. Anyway, by the time we get back Brenda should know that I'm her father. Then when I get home you and I can start working on Brenda finding out your her mother. Won't that be wondeful.
Veronica:Yes, wonderful.
Stefan:Anyway, I just wanted to bring you up to speed about what's going on. I'll see you when I get back.(he exits)
Veronica(hurls the bottle of perfume against the wall and it smashes trailing perfume down the wall)Damn you, Brenda, damn you!

Wymdemere:
Anna(helping Bobbie pack for the trip)So, am I expected to go with you on this trip as your personal maid?
Bobbie:Actually, I've convinced Stefan how capable you are, so you'll be helping Mrs. Lansbury with the final arrangements for my engagement ball.
Anna:You really do love him, don't you?
Bobbie:Yeah, I do. I don't think I've ever really felt like this about anyone aside from Carly's father, that is. He was my first love, you know.
Anna:What was he like.
Bobbie:Prim and proper. Sort of like Stefan now that I think of it.
Anna:Have you ever thought of looking him up. Having a blast from the past.
Bobbie:I wouldn't know where to start looking. Besides, it was just a fling to him. All the time he was sleeping with me, he was secretly engaged to another woman.
Anna:You must have really hated him when you found out.
Bobbie:No, as a matter of fact, I didn't. When I met Cass, I was a teen hooker. It was the only way of life that I knew. But Cass showed me I could have a different kind of life and it was because of him I eventually ended up turning my life around and getting out of the life.
Anna;You never told him you were pregnant, did you?
Bobbie:No, I didn't want to disrupt his life, not that I even knew where his life was taking place. I guess even if I'd wanted to tell him I was pregnant with his child, I wouldn't have been able to since I had no idea where he went to after spring break was over.
Anna:Bobbie, isn't Carly going to want to know her father, some day. To meet him, at least. Maybe you should consider trying to find him and telling him he has a child, before Carly does it herself, one day. It would be awful for her if she did and her father ended up rejecting her.
Bobbie:Anna, I don't know...
Anna:Just think about it while you're away on your trip and if you decide you do want to find this Cass, Robert and I will help you find him.

Helena's Yacht:
Veronica(storms in)Damn, Brenda! She's ruining everything for Stefan and me.
Helena:Veronica, calm down and tell me what's wrong.
Veronica:Stefan is taking Brenda on a promotional tour and he asked Bobbie to go with him. I'm the one who should be going with him, not Bobbie. And I would be if it weren't for Brenda. And do you know where they're going on this tour? To Florida. Florida! I could have played on Stefan's old memories in Florida and gotten him into bed. But now, he's going to be making new memories with Bobbie in Florida and it's all Brenda's fault.
Helena:I don't like the idea of Stefan and Bobbie being in Florida together. There's no telling what they might say to each other there. Or what memories they might remember. Memories that might make them realize the truth.
Veronica:Helena, forget about that. You haven't heard the best part, yet. Stefan is going to tell Brenda he's her father on this trip. When they get back there's no way I'm going to be able to prevent a meeting between Brenda and I from taking place. Stefan will insist upon it. Helena, you were right. Brenda has got to go. Brenda's got to die.
