The Docks:
Anna(arrives at the docks as Robert is taking his lunch break)Well, Robert, the plot thickens.
Robert:What now?
Anna:I talked to Bobbie about Sonny and Carly. You're not going to believe this, Robert. Carly is Bobbie's daughter.
Robert:What!
Anna:My reaction precisely. Robert, this doesn't make any sense. Brenda is the Cassadine, so how is Sonny going to be the perfect addition to the Cassadine family if Helena is forcing Sonny and Carly through Faison to be cat burglars. Robert, you and I know what it's like to work together as a team in dangerous situations and to go on adventures together. It bonds you together like nothing else can. Helena's not stupid. She must know this. So, how is Sonny supposed to become a Cassadine by marrying Brenda Barrett if he's bonding and growing even closer with his current wife.
Robert:Maybe it has something to do with Bobbie. Maybe Helena wants to get some dirt on Carly to force Bobbie into breaking up with her son.
Anna:I don't know, Robert. There just seems like there's a piece of this puzzle that we're missing. What are we even doing messing in this mess for. This isn't why we came back to Port Charles. We came to tell Nikolas and Robin the truth, so why don't we go ahead and just do it.
Robert:That's not the only reason we came back, luv, and if we're both honest with ourselves and each other will admit it. If we'd only come back to tell Robin and Nikolas the truth, we wouldn't have slipped quietly back into town or have taken on false identities. Truth is, we also came back to nail Helena and Faison for what they did to us.
Anna:The doctor claimed Helena had no part in this. It was all Stavros and Faison's doing.
Robert:You don't believe than anymore than I do. The old duck was involved in it up to her neck. Proof of that is her current involvement with Faison. Speaking of Faison. I followed Corinthos to Jake's Pool Hall when he went to meet our little friend. I don't know what was going down between the two of them, but is sure wasn't pleasant from Corinthos end.

The Brownstone:
Carly(as Sonny enters)How did it go?
Sonny:We've got big trouble on our hands.
Carly:What happened.
Sonny:The guy who hired me to steal the sapphire has you and me on tape stealing it. And now he wants us to steal something else for him.
Carly:Us?
Sonny:Yeah, us. I guess he figures you're a threat knowing what you know and the best way to neutralize you is to make you a part of this by making you help me steal this Renoir he wants so he'll have something on you and you'll no longer be a threat to him.
Carly:What are we going to do?
Sonny:We've got to play along with him for the time being and steal the Renoir. Right now, this guy is holding all the cards against us. I don't even know who he is. So we have to play along with him until I can turn the tables on him and get enough dirt on him I can free us from his clutches.
Brenda(enters)Oh, Carly, you're here. Don't you ever spend time in your own apartment.
Carly:I'll forget you said that, Brenda. You must be feeling a bit out of sorts, today, since I can see by looking at you that your clothes no longer fit you as they once did. I guess it's time to stop wearing the silk blouses with the sleeves that are too long for you and start wearing maternity clothes.
Brenda:Nonsense, I'll just borrow some of those over-sized tops you've been wearing lately to hide your weight gain from eating too many bon-bons and cheese puffs.
Carly:Actually, I'm glad you've finally started to show. I was beginning to think you weren't really pregnant, at all. I mean, you wouldn't be the first woman to lie about being pregnant to trap a man.
Brenda:Why you...
Sonny(grabs Brenda as she lunges at Carly)Carly, why don't you leave us alone.
Carly:Fine, I'll just go check on our son and see how he's doing.(she exits)
Brenda:Sonny, I don't know how much longer I can take living with that woman.
Sonny:Brenda, just forget about Carly. What did Stefan Cassadine want?
Brenda:You're not going to like it. He wants me to go on a two-week nationwide tour to promote Deception.
Sonny:(thinking of the trip he and Carly were going to have to take to Paris)When would you have to leave.
Brenda:He didn't really say, but I got the feeling it would be pretty soon if I agree to it. You don't mind me leaving?
Sonny:Brenda, it's your job. Believe me, I understand we've all got to do what we've got to do and there's no since crying about it.
Brenda:Is there anyway you could go with me?
Sonny:Brenda, you know I'm saving every cent I have left over from my salary for the baby. There's no way I could afford to go along with you. Besides, I couldn't be away from the Brownstone for that long. I'm the manager and Bobbie's giving me free rent to make sure I take care of the place.
Brenda:I know, I'm just going to miss you, terribly.
Sonny:I'll  miss you, too. But we can talk on the phone every night before you go to bed and every morning when you wake-up.
Brenda:(crawls in Sonny's lap)I love you.
Sonny:I love you, too.(they kiss each other passionately)
Brenda:I guess I'd better call Stefan Cassadine and tell him I'm going on the tour.(she heads for the hallway where the phone is)I'll be right back.
Sonny:(takes the envelope Faison gave him out of his back pocket)And I guess I'd better arrange to meet my new employer and find out just when he wants Carly and I to leave for Paris to steal the Renoir.

Wyndemere:
Bobbie:Stefan, what do you mean we'll be accompanying Brenda on her publicity tour. Our engagement party is scheduled to take place in a few weeks. I need to have the final fitting for my dress and you need to finalize all the arrangements.
Stefan:Barbara, we'll be back in plenty of time and just think of it. You and I together in some of the most romantic cities in america. I've already rented a plantation in Georgia that's reminescent of Tara for us to stay in. In San Francisco, we can see all the sights, take a walk down by Fisherman's Wharf and ride the cable car. And in Florida we can lay on the beach all day and just soak up the sun.
Bobbie:Florida?
Stefan:You don't sound happy about going there.
Bobbie:I just havaea a lot of memories attached to Florida. Some good and some not-so good.
Stefan:I have some old memories of Florida, myself. That's where I met my first love. But I thought together you and I could make all the old memories go away and make some new ones together.
Bobbie:That sounds lovely. But why do I get the feeling there's much more to this trip than meets the eye.
Stefan:I have to admit I'm hoping to use this trip to get close enough to Brenda so I can tell her I'm her father, not to mention put your theory to the test.
Bobbie:What theory.
Stefan:That if Sonny and Carly are left to their own devices without Brenda in the picture they'll find their way back to each other.
Bobbie:Why would you want to do that?
Stefan:To test Mr. Corinthos's commitment to my daughter to see if he's worthy of her.
Bobbie:And what happens if Sonny doesn't past the test. What will you do then?(Stefan doesn't answer. He just walks out the door)
