Port Charles Grille: Bobbie:Anna, I don't know... Anna:Bobbie, I thought you of all people would know how I feel. Remember when Cheryl Stansbury came back to town and you had to give Lucas to her? Well, I'm in the exact same position, only I had Robin longer than you had Lucas. If you were me wouldn't you want to know everything you could about Lucas' natural parents. Bobbie:I suppose so.(Bobbie notices Stefan and Brenda entering and sitting at a nearby table)Oh, there's Stefan now. Anna(looks over at him)Isn't that Brenda Barrett with him? Bobbie:Yep, otherwise known as the Face Of Deception. She's also happens to be his daughter. You're not going to believe this, but Stefan just found out she was his daughter, recently. Anna:They seem to be getting along pretty well. I wonder if Robin will make the transition as fast as Ms. Barrett has. Bobbie:Anna, Brenda doesn't know he's her father, yet. Stefan thought it would be best to get to know her before he drops the bombshell on her. Anna:Robert feels the same way about Nikolas. Gee, I wonder what Robert will say when I tell him he thinks just like a Cassadine. Bobbie:Anna, Stefan's behavior in this really tells you all you need to know about him and exactly what kind of man he is. The minute Stefan found out Brenda was his daughter, he took steps to get to know her. And I'm sure he'll do the exact same thing with Robin. And he was a wonderful father to Nikolas. Nikolas couldn't have asked for any better. Anna:If all that's true, Bobbie, then let me find it out for myself, first hand. Help me go undercover in Wyndemere. Brenda:I'm really sorry your PR person, Ms. Anderson, could join us for lunch like you wanted her to. Stefan:So am I. But maybe it's for the best. Now you and I can get to know each other better without the presence of a third party. So, tell me, how are things going for you and Mr. Corinthos. I know my future stepdaughter and I know she can be a problem. Brenda:I'd be lying if I said things couldn't be a lot better if Carly would just got out of our lives and stay out. Stefan:If she's causing you too much trouble, perhaps I could help. It would be my honor to help you deal with her. Brenda:That's kind of you to offer, but the day won't come that I can't handle the likes of Carly Benson on my own. Bobbie(sighed)All right, Anna, you win. Stefan's been wanting me to hire a personal maid for myself. You can be my maid and then you'll see for yourself what a wonderful man Stefan truly is. The Brownstone: Sonny(looks at his watch before picking up the telephone receiver and dialing up Helena's number)Mrs. Cassadine, this is Sonny Corinthos. Helena:What do you want, Mr. Corinthos. I thought we said everything we had to say to each other the other day. Sonny:I've been thinking about our conversation. Perhaps I was a little too hasty in refusing you. Helena:What made you suddenly change your mind. Sonny:Brenda. She hates the fact that Michael and Carly are in my life. She also hates the way we have to live. If I take you up on your offer all that could change. Helena:Are you saying you're willing to give up your son for that little bimbo you're sleeping with? Sonny:Why should that surprise you. I've given up everything else for Brenda. Why not my son, as well. But I'm warning you, it's going to cost you big time. Helena:What do you want. Just name your price and it's yours. Sonny:Not over the phone. Let's meet, tonight, at the Port Charles Grille, say at eight. We can discuss terms over dinner.(he hangs up the phone) Carly(is standing behind him)You aren't really serious about giving up Michael for Brenda, are you, Sonny? Sonny(turns to her, startled)How long have you been standing there. Carly:Long enough. Tell me you're not willing to give up our son for Brenda, Sonny. Tell me you didn't mean it. Sonny:Just stay out of this, Carly. I know what I'm doing. I've got to go.(he grabs his jacket and walks out the door. Carly quickly grabs her coat and follows after him) Helena's Yacht: Helena(hangs up the phone and smiles)I'll make a Cassadine out of that boy, yet. He's really very good, Faison. If I didn't know he was only doing that to lure me off this boat, I'd actually believe him. Is everything set up for, tonight? Faison:All awaiting for Mr. Corinthos' imminent arrival. Veronica:(rushes in carrying her bouquet of roses)Look what Stefan sent me, today. And just listen to the card he enclosed with them. These american beauties pale in comparison to you, the true american beauty. It's finally working. Stefan's beginning to fall for me. Helena:So it appears, my dear. Shouldn't you go put them in water before they start to wilt. Veronica:You're right. I'll go do it now. Faison(watches as Veronica exits)You didn't!(Helena sips her drink and smiles)You did! You sent that lunatic those roses and signed Stefan's name to the card so she'd think they were from him. Helena:I thought the "american beauties for the true american beauty" line was a stroke of genius, don't you? Veronica seemed to really like it. And those flowers are just the beginning. Faison:What if she thanks Stefan fro the flowers. What will you do when he denies every having sent them to her? Helena:I'll simply tell her he's denying it out of guilt. That he regrets giving into the impulse because he's engaged to Bobbie Spencer, so he's pretending like he didn't really send them to her. I think Veronica would like perfume next. What do you think? Faison:You really are determined to get that nut obsessed with Stefan, aren't you? Helena:I told you I was. Faison:You know, Helena, one of these days one of your schemes is going to backfire on you and I just hope I'm there that day to see it. Helena:They haven't so far. I'll worry about it happening that day it happens and not before then. Now, back to the evenings festivities. I've given my staff the night off. All I need is for you to keep Veronica busy away from the boat. Do you think you can handle that for me? The Docks: Anna:Mission accomplished. Robert:Bobbie agreed to get to a job at Wyndemere? Anna:It was touch and go for awhile, but Bobbie finally agreed to help me, eventhough her first loyalties are to Stefan Cassadine.(she looks around)Where's Nikolas. I thought maybe it was about time I got to know my son. Robert:You just missed him. He had a date withi Robin, tonight, so I told him to leave early and I'd finish up for him. What brought this on? You've been resistent to meeting Nikolas up until now. You felt if you did you'd somehow be betraying Robin. Anna:Stefan Cassadine believe it or not. It seems this is the man's year for discovering daughters he never knew he had. He just found out Brenda Barrett was his daughter and he's trying to get to know her. I thought I should try doing the same with Nikolas. It's going to come as a shock to him when he finds out I'm his mother, so he should at least get to know me before that happens. Robert:I know, I'll invite him over for dinner. We'll get take-out from Kelly's. We wouldn't want you to poison the boy the first time out. Anna:Robert, you know I know how to cook. Robert:Yes, I'm still suffering heartburn from your last burnt offering. On to other matters. While I've been doing this mindless grunt work, I've been thinking about what you said about us planting a listening device on Helena Cassadine's yacht. I agree we need to do that, immediately, and I think we should do it, tonight.
