Faison(as Helena enters)So, how did it go with Sonny Corinthos.
Helena;I enraged and infuriated him to the point steam was practically coming out of his ears.(she places a hand to her beating heart and takes a deep)My, you should have seen the way those big, black eyes of his were burning with intensity. It's too bad Caroline wants him for herself. That's one stallion I'd love to take for a ride.
Faison:Helena, must your mind always sink to the gutter.
Helena:Excuse me for admiring one fine piece of male flesh. At least I'm not obsessing over a woman who only has eyes for her husband the way you have been over Anna Scorpio for the past twenty odd years. Speaking of the Scorpios. What have they been up to, lately, anyway. I thought this situation would explode the moment they hit town.
Faison:They're living at the Brownstone, in disguise, and Scorpio has gotten a job working with Nikolas on the docks.
Helena:They're certainly taking their fine time in revealing the truth to Nikolas and Robin.
Faison:You mean your version of the truth, don't you. I'm sure it's not easy for them to tell Robin she's not really their daughter and to tell Nikolas that he is their son.
Helena:Well, I'm tired of waiting around for the situation to explode. If they don't do something soon, I may have to do something myself to speed it along.
Faison:You do realize if a paternity test is done on Robin Scorpio, it'll reveal she isn't really the daughter of Laura Spencer, after all, don't you.
Helena:Of course, but before that happens plenty of trouble will have occured on both the Spencer and Scorpio fronts. Laura will think Robin is really her daughter and Stefan will suspect he could be Ms. Scorpio's father. Of course, if I could arrange to rig the paternity tests, I could prolong the misery a little bit longer. I could make Stefan and Laura think that Robin was their love child. Once they believe they share a child, again, it could draw them back together, which could lead to the end of Stefan and Bobbie's romance if Stefan's obsession for Laura Spencer takes hold of him, again. And if I can time it, perfectly, I could arrange for Stefan to learn Robin is his daughter on the heels of his other daughter, Brenda's, death.
Faison:Helena, you're really an unnatural mother. Don't you feel any guild about making Stefan think first Brenda Barrett is his child and now Robin Scorpio is, when they're no more his children than I am, while at the same time you continue to keep him from knowing that Carly Corinthos is his real child.
Helena:Not in the slightest. By keeping him busy with all these faux daughters, I'm keeping him from bonding with Caroline, which is allowing me to deepen the ties between us.
Faison:What about Veronica. I thought you wanted her to come between Stefan and Bobbie for you.
Helena:I'm finding other uses for Veronica. She makes for an excellent puppet. It's a challenge manipulating her strings to get her to do what I want her to do. If I can get her to become obsessed with Stefan, which shouldn't be hard considering the woman has a very obsessive personality, when she finds out Laura and Stefan share a child, I might be able to persuade her that if she wants Stefan all for herself, she'll have to dispose of Laura Spencer, first.
Faison:First, Brenda Barrett, and now Laura Spencer. It sounds like you're trying to turn her into your very own private assasin.
Veronica(storms in)We've got big problems.
Helena:What's wrong, Veronica?
Veronica:Stefan wants me to work with Brenda on her photo shoot. He wants us to spend the time between now and the Bacchanalian Ball getting to know her so we can tell her she's our daughter. He wants her to be at his engagement party as his daughter. If Brenda sees me, sh'll ruin everything for me.
Faison:I told you this wasn't going to work.
Helena:Shut up, Faison. Veronica, I've tried to warn you Brenda was a major problem for you and your future.
Veronica:But what am I going to do about this? I can't go to that photo shoot. If I do, she'll recognize me.
Helena:Then don't go. make up an excuse on why you can't be there. But it'll only be a temporary solution to a very serious problem. If you're really determined to remain Roberta Anderson and keep your job at Deception, not to mention your current relationship with Stefan, there's only one thing you can do. You've got to get rid of Brenda, permanently.

The Brownstone:
Carly(finds Sonny pacing the floor madder than a wet hen when she returns from taking Michael to the park)Sonny, what's wrong?
Sonny:Your grandmother is what's wrong. She paid me a little visit while you were gone. She said she wanted me out of Michael's life and she was willing to pay me to do it.
Carly:Sonny, that can't be true. My grandmother knows how much you mean to me. she's never do that.
Sonny:Well, she did. Carly, I want you to stay away from her. I want you to break all ties with her.
Carly:What! Sonny, I can't do that. She's my family.
Sonny:Carly, I'm your family. Michael's your family. Luke's your family. Bobbie's your family. But that old witch isn't your family. she wants our son and she's using you to get to him.
Carly:No, that's not true. My grandmother loves me. You're wrong. I'll prove it to you.(she rushes out.)
Sonny(yells after her)Carly, come back. (he decides not to go chasing after her)If I'm going to protect my child from that miserable old bitch, I'm going to need money, and lots of it.(he takes Faison's card out of his pocket and dials up his number)
Faison(answers on the first ring)Hello.
Sonny:This is Sonny corinthos. I've thought over your offer. If you still want someone to steal that sapphire from Helena Cassadine, then I'm your man. But, I'll only do it at double the price.
Faison:Done. I'll be in contact with you to finalize the deal. Meet me at Jake's, tonight, at ten.
Sonny:Done. I'll be there.
Faison(turns to Helena as he hangs up the phone)Our little fish has finally taken the bait. Whatever you said to Corinthos worked. He's agreed to steal the sapphire from you.
Helena(smiles)Excellent. (she pours them both a glass of champagne)Let's drink a toast to it. To Sonny Corinthos' return to a life of crime.(they clink glasses)This is only the beginning.
