Sonny and Brenda's Bedroom, The Brownstone:
Brenda(going through the closet)Sonny, I thin you should wear your beige suit, today. The light color will be a nice contrast to your dark good looks.
Sonny:Brenda, I'm not going to my wedding, I'm going to my divorce hearing. I don't really think anyone will be noticing if I look nice or not.
Brenda:This is better than a wedding. When you're done, you'll finally be free of Carly.
Sonny:Brenda, Carly and I will always be tied together by Michael. Carly will never be completely out of my life.
Brenda(ignored that)I think I'll wear my beige dress so we'll match.
Sonny:Brenda, you're not planning on going with me, today, are you?
Brenda:Of course, I'm coming with you. You don't thin I'd miss it for the world, do you?
Sonny:Brenda, this is going to be hard enough on Carly without you there gloating about it.
Brenda:Sonny, I would never gloat.
Sonny:Brenda, I really want this to be just between Carly and me. The same way it was when we got married. Carly and I said our vows with no one there but a judge and I think it's appropriate if Carly and I dissolve our marriage with no one there but us and the judge. Look, with Carly living here, the penthouse is empty. Why don't you go over there and fix us up a real romantic evening for us to spend there. When the hearing is over I'll join you there and we can celebrate in private without rubbing Carly's nose into it.
Brenda:And then we can have that ring removing ceremony we talked about a couple of weeks ago.(she smiles as she traced that hated gold band he was still wearing with her index finger that loudly announced everytime she looked at it that he still belonged to Carly, legally)You don't know how much I've been looking forward to removing it. Then once the divorce is legal, I'll slide a similar gold band on your finger when we get married, only it'll stay on your finger for the rest of your life until the day you day. And we'll never spend another day apart, again, not for as long as we both shall live.
Sonny(holds her face in his hands)Even when I die, I'll leave instructions so the ring won't be removed and I'll be buried with it still on my finger, so it'll remain on my hand throughout eternity, the same way you'll always remain in my heart.

Helena's Yacht:
Carly(pacing the floor like a caged tigress)Are you sure you've got everything arranged, Grandmother. That it'll work out as you've planned.
Helena:Of course, my darling. The judge hearing your divorce case, this afternoon, likes to make it very difficult for couples who have children together to obtain a divorce. I've arranged for him to receive a transcript of Grant Andrews testimony from you custody hearing where he verified Michael was really your husband's child. Once he's aware that you and Michael share a child together, he'll make things very difficult for the two of you to get divorced.
Carly:I'm sorry for questioning you like this, Grandmother, but if Sonny and I get divorced, today, I'll lose him forever. Once he marries Brenda, it will be over between us for good.
Helena:So tell me how Michael took the news that he's a father.
Carly:Oh, Grandmother, you should have seen the look in Sonny's eyes when I told him he was Michael's father. It was filled with such intense joy and happiness and I'm the one who put it there. And, Grandmother, he kissed me. He still wants me. He still loves me. If we'd have been alone I know he would have made love to me. Maybe it's time I told hiim I'm pregnant with his child, too.
Helena:No, it's not the right time, yet.
Carly:Why not? Grandmother, I'm going to start showing soon. This morning, I already noticed a slight bulge where none was, yesterday. If I don't tell Sonny, myself, he's going to figure it out all on his own.
Helena:We need to arrange things so the setting is perfect when you tell him. You'll just have to start wearing baggy clothing to conceal your pregnancy when it becomes too noticeable.
Carly:But, Grandmother, if I don't do something fast, he's going to share all his firsts with Brenda. Brenda will be the first to hold Sonny's hand against her stomach so he can feel his baby kick for the first time. He'll take Lamaze classes with here. He'll be there in the delivery room whenshe gives birth to their baby. I want to be the one, the only one, who shares that with Sonny. Not Brenda.
Helena:You will, my dear. Just trust me and you will. Now I think it's time you were headed to the courthouse, don't you?

Veronica's Room, The Port Charles Hotel:
Veronica(opens the door to Stefan)Cass, I'm so glad to see you. What are you doing here?
Stefan:Roberta, did you call me, last night and speak to Barbara, instead.
Veronica:Cass, how could I? I don't even know where you live or what your phone number is.
Stefan:Forgive me for asking. Of course, it couldn't have been you. You don't even know my real name.
Veronica:Real name? Are you telling me you're not really Cass Stephens?
Stefan;Roberta, I'm afraid I've been lying to you since the moment we met. My real name is Stefan Cassadine. When I met you I was going to university in americal and I didn't want people to know I was a member of the Cassadine family, so I took on the name Cass Stephens. We were together for such a short time I never had the chance to tell you who I really was and ever since we met, again, I've been meaning to tell  you of my true identity.
Veronica:Is that the only reason you came to see me. To tell me you're really Stefan Cassadine and to accuse me of calling your future wife to,  presume, cause trouble between the two of you.
Stefan:No, there was one other reason. I know you've extended your stay in Port Charles so we've could get reacquainted, but you'll eventually have to leave. I'd like you to consider staying in Port Charles, permanently. When Katherine Bell died,  bought her company Deception from her estate. I'd like to give you a job working at Deception.
Veronica:Why do you want me to stay?
Stefan:I've done some checking on our daughter. Her adopted father, Harlan Barrett, is dead, and her adopted mother, Veronica Barrett, is a wanted criminal. I think our daughter needs us. Brenda's probably the only biological child I'm ever going to have. I want us to get to know her and when the time is right, I want us to tell her we're her mother and father. So, will you stay?
Veronica:Of course, I wll.(she hugs him)Thank you, Stefan.(she presses her lips against the collar of his shirt leaving behind a lipstick print)I don't know how I'll ever repay you?

Port Charles County Courthouse:
Judge(looking over documents on his desk)I see here that Mr. and Mrs. Corinthos share a child. Why wasn't this brought to my attention before this.
Justus:My client just learned about it, recently.
Judge:Well, this changes everything.(he bangs his gavel)Divorce denied.
Sonny(jumps up)What! You can't do that!
Judge:Sit down, Mr. Corinthos, or I'll hold you in contempt of court.
Sonny:Justus, do something.
Justus:Your Honor, this divorce is uncontested.
Judge:I have a policy, Mr. Ward. Any couple with children who come into my courtroom wanting to obtain a divorce has to go through six months of court-ordered marriage counseling to establish that their marriage in unsavable. If it is deemed so after that time, the divorce will be granted.(he looks at Sonny and Carly)Come back to my court in six months time. If you still want your divorce then, it'll be granted. This case is dismissed.(while Carly has a hard time restraining herself from jumping up and down in glee, Sonny sits in shock wondering how he's going to tell Brenda the latest news)
