The Brownstone:
Brenda:You cheated on me. How could you.(she lunges toward him, her 
fingers formed in claws aimed straight at his face)
Sonny:(catches her wrists in an iron grip before she can go for his 
face)I did not cheat on you. We weren't even together at the time.
Brenda:How could you have crawled in bed with Carly Benson after we'd 
made love in the catacombs. How could you betray me like this.
Sonny(shoved her away from him)Don't you dare try to play the wounded 
party to me. You used me to make Jax jealous. After we made love in 
the catacombs, you strung both Jax and me along for weeks as you tried 
to decide which one of us it was that you truly wanted.
Brenda:So that gives you the right to go out and sleep with Carly 
Benson.
Sonny:Maybe Jax didn't mind playing your lapdog, but Sonny Corinthos 
plays lapdog for no woman, not even you. The night you accused me of 
planting drugs on Jax was the last straw for me. While you went off to 
the police station with your precious Jax, I did what I should have 
done a long time ago. I went out and found myself a warm, willing 
woman and I got myself laid.
Brenda:Then you gave me an ultimatum to pick you or Jax, but you never 
once mentioned you'd been with another woman.
Sonny:I wouldn't have slept with Carly if you hadn't accused me of 
planting drugs on Jax. You know it always amazed me the blind faith 
you had in this guy when he did absolutely nothing to deserve it. He 
lied to you about being married before, he plotted with Tracy to steal 
ELQ from the Q's, he's partially responsible for the break-up on Ned 
and Lois' marriage and you just brushed all that aside. In your mind 
he was your perfect knight-in-shining armor who could do no wrong and 
I was the evil dark prince who was capable of anything, including 
planting drugs of Mr. Perfect so I could have the fair damsel all to 
myself. But I shouldn't be surprised since you don't know me at all 
and you never did. That's why I knew if I sent Jason to the church and 
had him lie to you about why I didn't showup, you'd have no problem 
believing it.
Brenda:I want to know, Sonny, what you would have done if I hadn't 
given into your ultimatum to choose between you and Jax. Would you 
have continued to sleep with Carly.
Sonny:Carly was living with Tony Jones at the time, if you remember.
Brenda:That didn't stop her from crawling in bed with you, did it. So 
what would you have done.
Sonny:We would have gotten back together regardless of what you did or 
I did. If you had refused to choose, the minute you saw me with 
another woman, you would have dropped Jax like a hot potato and come 
after me the same way I'd been coming after you when you were 
"married" to Jax. You see, unlike you, I happen to know you.
Brenda:Well, since you know me so well, you must know what I'm going 
to do next.(she heads for the door)
Sonny:Brenda, where are you going?
Brenda:Anywhere you're not.(she storms out into the night)
Sonny(calls after her)Brenda, come back! It's not safe for you to be 
out alone.(he grabs his coat and chases after her, while Carly whose 
been standing on the upstairs listening to everything smirks like a 
cat)

The Bathroom, Stefan's Bedroom:
Bobbie(is taking a shower when Stefan steps into the stall with 
her)Stefan, what are you doing?
Stefan:(takes her hand in his and kisses her palm)I came to apologize. 
I'm sorry we argued, earlier.
Bobbie:Stefan, I don't understan why you took Brenda's side against 
Carly's the way you did. You barely know her and you've always acted 
that what you knew you didn't like.
Stefan:It's not important. What is important is you and I. I don't 
like to quarrel with you. I don't want us to let your daughter cause 
problems between us the way she did with you and Dr. Jones.
Bobbie(stands on her tip toes and puts her arms around him)But 
fighting can be fun.
Stefan:How so?
Bobbie:Because when we fight, then we get to have the fun of making 
up.
Stefan:(puts his arms around her and and molds her body to his)I like 
the way your minds works, Barbara.(he lowers his head to her and they 
being kissing passionately as the water from the showerhead above 
cascades over them.)

The Brownstone:
Carly(as Sonny returns)Did you find her.
Sonny:I followed her until she reached Jagger's apartment. I may not 
like the guy, but he'll keep Brenda safe in case her crazy mother is 
still in town and on the loose.
Carly(plays Simply Red's "If You Don't Know Me By Now" on the compact 
disc player then pours him a drink and sits down on the sofa next to 
him)You look like you could use this?(she hands him the drink)
Sonny(glances at the compact disc player as Simply Red is crooning, 
"If you don't know me by now, you will never, never know me.")Real 
subtle, Carly.
Carly:Sonny, how can you be thinking of planning a future with a woman 
who doesn't understand you, at all. 
Sonny:Carly, don't.
Carly:Sonny, you and I share a child together.
Sonny:And Brenda and I are going to have a child together. Carly, 
Brenda and I have gotten through worse things than this and we'll get 
through this, as well, too. I don't want you to get any false hopes 
up. I've made my choice. I'm committed to Brenda. And you and I are 
going to be divorced in a few days time. End of story.
Carly:Not necessarily. Sonny, at the courthouse whenI told you Michael 
was your son, you kissed me. And it wasn't a kiss of gratitude. It was 
the kind of kiss a man gives a woman he wants under him naked.
Sonny:That kiss was a mistake and it's not going to happen, again.
Carly:Sonny, you still have feelings for me. You still want me.
Sonny:But I'm with Brenda now and I intend to spend the rest of my 
life with her. Whatever feelings I have for you will have to remain 
unsatisfied. Now, I'm going to look in on our son, then I'm going to 
bed. I suggest you do the same.
Carly(calls to him as he starts up the stairs)Sonny, if you'd known 
about Michael before you found out Brenda was pregnant with your child 
would you have really chosen Brenda over me?(he doesn't answer or 
pause as he continues on his way up the stairs)

Jagger's Apartment:
Brenda(banging on the door as she cries hysterically)Jagger, open up. 
Jagger, I need you.
Jagger(comes to the door wearing nothing but his jockey shorts. Brenda 
throws herself on his chest weeping)Brenda, what is it? What's wrong?
Brenda:Jagger, it's Sonny. I just found out, tonight, that he cheated 
on me with Carly. And that's not all. He and Carly have a baby 
together. Sonny is really Michael's father, not AJ. Jagger, I wanted 
to be the one to give Sonny his first child. I wanted to be the one 
who made that dream come true for him. I wanted to be the only woman 
to have Sonny's children. And Carly's taken that all away from me.
Jagger(puts his arms around her and runs his hands soothingly up and 
down her back as she continues to cry)It's all right, Brenda. It's 
going to be, all right.
Brenda(looks up at him)No, Jagger, it's never going to be, all right, 
again. I hate Carly Benson. Why did she ever have to come into Sonny's 
life. And I hate Sonny. Why did he have to crawl in bed with Carly and 
make a baby with her. I hate them both.
Jagger(holds her face in his hands)Brenda, it is going to be all 
right. I'm going to make it all right for you, again.(He lowers his 
mouth to hers and kisses her)
Brenda(responds at first, then she pulls away from him)No, Jagger, 
this isn't what I came here for. I came to you because I needed a 
friend to talke to, not a lover to make the pain go away.
Jagger:Come on, Brenda, who are you kidding. If you wanted a friend to 
talk to, you would have went to Robin. You came here because you want 
to use me to get back at Sonny. He cheated on you with someone you 
hate, and now you want to return the favor by cheating on him with me. 
And I'm more than willing to cooperate. It will be my pleasure to help 
you stick it to Corinthos good. So, have you suddenly changed your 
mind, or do you still want to go through with it? Are you going to let 
Sonny get away with cheating on you with Carly and making a child with 
her or are you going to banish the mental images of Sonny and Carly 
making love that are filling your mind, right now, by making love with 
me? What will it be, Brenda?
