The Brownstone:
Brenda:What does she mean she's moving in?
Sonny:Brenda, I had no choice. AJ threatened to kidnap Michael. I had 
to bring them here.
Brenda:Why did you have to bring them here.
Sonny:They may not be safe in the penthouse. I can't afford to hire a 
guard to guard them. So the simplest solution seemed to bring them 
here so I can watch over them and keep them safe.
Brenda:Why couldn't you have taken her to Wyndemere and let Stefan 
Cassadine take care of her.
Carly:My mother isn't married to Cassadine, yet, so I can hardly land 
on his doorstep expecting him to take care of me. I'm not his 
responsibility, I'm Sonny's. In cas it's slipped your mind, I am still 
Sonny's wife.
Brenda:Not for long. In a few days you won't be.(she turns to 
Sonny)Sonny, I will not live under the same roof as her.
Sonny:Brenda, there's more to this situation than you know. Just let 
me get Michael and Carly settled into Felicia's old apartment upstairs 
and then I'll come back and explain everything to you.
Brenda:Fine, settle her upstairs, but I mean what I say, Sonny. I 
won't stay under the same roof as her.
Sonny(takes Michael from Carly and starts up the stairs)Come on, 
Carly, I'll show you the way.
Carly:(sneering at Brenda as she follows him up the stairs)I already 
know the way, Sonny. In case it's slipped your girlfriend's mind, my 
mother happens to own this house. So I think it gives me more right to 
be here than it does her.

Wyndemere:
Stefan(as Bobbie enters)So, how did the custody hearing go?
Bobbie:It was wild. Brenda testified and really did a hatchet job on 
Carly.
Stefan:Brenda as in Brenda Barrett?
Bobbie:Yes, there's only one Brenda, thank god. I don't think we could 
take two of them. Then Carly announced in court that Sonny is 
Michael's real father, and AJ had such a fit the judge had to throw 
him out of the courtroom.
Stefan:How did Ms. Barrett take the news. She must have been 
devastated finding out the man she loves and is planning to marry has 
a child with another woman.
Bobbie:Brenda wasn't even there. And it just so happens that Carly is 
still married to Sonny and Brenda is the one who broke up their 
marriage by getting herself pregnant, I might add.
Stefan:From what I understand Mr. Corinthos was in love with Ms. 
Barrett long before your daughter even came into the picture.
Bobbie:Yes, but Sonny was married to Carly when Brenda resurrected 
herself. Stefan, I saw Sonny and Carly together. They could have been 
happy together and they would have been if Brenda had just left Sonny 
alone. But she wouldn't. And now she's got him. Although I still have 
my doubts if Sonny would have actually left Carly if Brenda hadn't 
gotten herself conveniently pregnant.
Stefan:I doubt she did it on purpose, if that's what you're 
suggesting. That sounds more like a trick your daughter would pull.
Bobbie:Stefan, why are you defending her? You barely even know her and 
what you know you don't like.
Stefan:But I know your daughter and all the misery she caused you in 
the past. You told me she suspected Mr. Corinthos was the father of 
her son months ago. So why is it she just revealed it to him, now. She 
obviously kept it a secret waiting until just the right moment  when 
she could use it to cause trouble between Mr. Corinthos and Ms. 
Barrett.
Bobbie:That's not fair. 
Stefan:I'm just calling it the way I see it.
Bobbie:Don't you have any sympathy for Carly. She's really in love 
with Sonny.
Stefan:And so is Ms. Barrett. All my sympathies in this situation go 
to her, not your scheming daughter.

Felicia's Old Apartment:
Sonny(as he finishes setting up Michael's crib)So do you think you'll 
be comfortable here.
Carly:(holding Michael)I'm sure I will. Sonny, I'm sorry I caused 
trouble between you and Brenda.
Sonny:It's not your fault AJ made threats to take Michael. Until AJ 
accepts the truth, it only makes sense for you and Michael to stay 
here where I can keep you safe from him. As soon as AJ's no longer a 
threat, you and Michael can move back to the penthouse.
Carly:When are you going to tell Brenda that Michael is really your 
son.
Sonny:As soon as I put Michael to bed.
Carly:You know Brenda's not going to take this well, don't you?
Sonny:Maybe Brenda will surprise us both.
Carly:Yeah, and maybe the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy are your 
real parents.

Helena's Yacht:
Jagger(enters)Why did you want to see me, Mrs. Cassadine.
Helena(purrs)Please, Jagger, call me Helena. I was wondering how 
things are going with you and Ms. Barrett.
Jagger:I'd say they were right on schedule. Everytime Corinthos runs 
off to Carly's rescue, I'm there for Brenda to lean on. I even got 
Brenda to agree to help me decorate my apartment.
Helena:Very good, Jagger. Excellent. Now I have a new assignment for 
you. I want you  to ingratiate yourself with my son, Stefan.
Jagger:Why?
Helena:Stefan mistakenly believes he's Brenda Barrett's father. I want 
you to convince Stefan how unsuitable a match Mr. Corinthos is for 
Stefan's "daughter". Then knowning my Steffy, he'll do are dirty work 
for us and find a way to break-up Mr. Corinthos and Ms. Barrett, 
permanently.

Living Room, The Brownstone:
Brenda(as Sonny comes downstairs)That certainly took you long enough. 
So what is it that you have to explain to me.
Sonny(takes her hand)Let's sit down on the sofa, sweetheart.(once 
their sitting he takes both her hands in his)Before I tell you this, I 
want you to remember that no matter what I never stopped loving you 
for an instant. Not when you were with Jax or when I was with Lily or 
Carly.
Brenda:Sonny, you're scaring me. What is it?
Sonny:It's really nothing to be scared about. Actually, it's something 
to be happy about. When Carly told me, I know it made me very happy. 
But I'm not so sure when I tell you you'll feel the same.
Brenda:Just tell me, baby. Together we can handle anything.
Sonny:Brenda, something happened after you left the courthouse with 
Jagger. You remember when Carly came up to me and said she needed to 
talk to me about something?(Brenda nods)Well, Carly wanted to tell me 
the truth. That I'm really Michael's father.
Brenda:Sonny, she's lying. There's no possible way you could be that 
child's father. To be his father, that would mean you slept with her 
at the same time you were trying to get me back from Jax. And we both 
know you didn't. So she's lying.
Sonny:Brenda, she's not lying. It happened only once right before we 
got back together.
Brenda:You slept with Carly Benson at the same time you were trying to 
get me to choose between you and Jax?(her eyes fill with rage as she 
slaps him across the face)You bastard!
