The Brownstone: Anna(and Robert in disguise being shown an apartment by Brenda)I thought Bobbie Spencer owned this house. Did she sell it to you? Brenda:No, she lives on Spoon Island, now, with Stefan Cassadine. She and Mr. Cassadine are planning to get married, so she's put me and my fiancee, Sonny Corinthos in charge of running and renting the Brownstone. So what do you think of the apartment? Robert:We'll take it. Brenda:Good, I'll just go and get a rental agreement you can sign.(she leaves) Robert:Bobbie's involved with a Cassadine? Anna:Well, look on the brightside, Robert. With Bobbie living out on the island, she won't get a chance to recognize us until we want to be recognized. Robert:But a Cassadine? They're all murderers and cut throats. Brenda(returns)Here's the rental agreement. Robert:You mentioned the Cassadines before. Matilda and I have been away from Port Charles for awhile. Just how did the Cassadines happen to return to town. Brenda:When Lulu Spencer became ill, Nikolas Cassadine followed his uncle to town after donating bone marrow to her. He and his uncle took up residence on Spoon Island. Stefan's sister, Alexis, followed him. Helena Cassadine arrived last. Anna(as Robert signs the rental agreement)Does Helena live out on the island with her son? Brenda:No, she lives on a yacht in the harbor. Back to the subject at hand. How could the citizens of this town ever allow the Cassadine to take over this townt he way they have. Are they forgetting they tried to freeze the whole town. That's why I left Sean in charge, so nothing like this would happen. Anna:Well, you'll just have to ask Sean what happened when we go and see him. Which I think we should do now. Where should we go first. The police department or his penthouse? Robert:The penthouse. Hopefully, he still lives there. We really should have asked Olin to fill us in on what's been going on in this town since we've been gone. Sonny's Penthouse: Sonny(and Carly enter)I'm a little nervous about seeing him. Carly:Sonny, Michael loves you. You're wonderful with him. He's really missed you since you moved out and moved in with Brenda. Sonny:Just what is that supposed to mean. Carly:Are you threatening to kidnap my son if things don't go the way you like. AJ:If that's whata it comes to, that's exactly what I'll do. I won't be kept from my son. If you two persist with this lie about Sonny being Michael's father, I'll be forced to take his so far away from here, neither of you will ever see him, again. So maybe before you two think about proceeding with this lie, you'd better think about the consequences if you do.(he storms out) Carly(turns to Sonny)Sonny, I think he was serious. Even when the blood tests prove you're really Michael's father, he's going to refuse to believe it. Sonny, what are we going to do? Helena's Yacht: Faison(storms in)I told you this was going to backfire on us. Helena:What's gotten you so upset. Faison:I've received news from my people. Stefan is making inquiries about Brenda Barrett. He's trying to find out if she was adopted or not. Once he finds out she wasn't, he'll know Veronica was lying to him. Helena:Really? Faison:You don't seem concerned abaout that happening. If Stefan figures out Veronica isn't really Roberta Anderson, it may lead him to try to find the real Roberta Anderson, who he just happens to be engaged to marry, which will lead him to discovering that Carly Corinthos is his real daughter. Which is somethingi you don't want happening, which is why you're trying to break up Stefan and Bobbie Spencer to begin with. Helena:Faison, relax. You're worrying about nothing. As usual, I have everything in hand. Trust me. Wyndemere: Stefan(as Alexis enters)Well, what have you found out. Alexis:It took me awhile, but I finally found Brenda Barrett's birth records.(she hands a file to him)There was some mistake and they thought it was missing for awhile. Stefan(opens it up and finds two birth certificate. The first one says she's the daughter of Harlan and Veronica Barrett. He reads the second birth certificate aloud)Mother, Roberta Anderson. Father, Cass Stephens. Alexis:Look what else is in the file. Stefan:It's an adoption record showing that Harlan and Veronica Barrett adopted Ms. Barrett from Roberta Anderson. My god, then it's true.
