Outdoor Cafe, San Remos:
Luke:(looking at the birth certificate)According to this birth 
certificate the son Robert and Anna supposedly had was born here.
Sonny:Luke, we don't even know if that birth certificate is even real. 
Helena Cassadine could have planted it in the safe figuring you'd go to 
Greece to try and uncover the mystery of those check she wrote to 
Virginia Benson. All right, let's say it is real. What do you suppose it 
means.
Luke:Since it was in a file marked "Nikolas Cassadine" it would seem to 
suggest that it's his birth certificate.
Sonny:Come on, Luke, it was proved your his father.
Luke:Was it? I share the kid's blood type, but a paternity test was 
never done. Robert and I also share the same blood type. That doesn't 
make me Robert's father, either. Robert could just as easily be that 
kid's father if this birth certificate is genuine.
Sonny:Are you sure you're not looking for an easy way out. Ever since 
you learned he was your son, you've completely ignored his existence. 
You haven't even gone to him and acknowledged he's your son. You've let 
Cassadine continue to act as his father.
Luke:Because I know that's what the kid wants. You haven't seen him 
coming to me and confronting me about being his father, have you?
Sonny:Can you blame him. If Robert and Anna Scorpio are really his 
parents I feel sorry for him. I mean, first he thought Stavros Cassadine 
was her father, then he though Stefan Cassadine is his father and now he 
thinks your his father. But the one constant that has never been in 
doubt is that Laura was his mother and even that small comfort could be 
taken away from him if Anna Scorpio is really his mother. By the way, if 
the kid is really the Scorpios son, it brings about a lot of unanswered 
questions. Like how did the Cassadines get their hands on him when he 
was born in San Remos and what happened to the child Laura gave birth 
to?
Luke:I don't know. Maybe when we track down this doctor he can explain 
it to us.
Sonny:Do you think Anna Scorpio gave birth to twins and the Cassadines 
stole her son from her?
Luke:It sounds like the only reasonable explanation.
Sonny:Well, if that's true, we'd better find out in a hurry because 
Robin could be dating her twin brother without even knowing it.
Luke(suddenly notices a couple sitting across the patio holding hand and 
staring deeply into each others eyes like no one else exists for 
them)Oh, my god!
Sonny:What is it?(he turns around to see what Luke is staring at)
Luke:That couple over there. It's Robert and Anna Scorpio.

Helena's Yacht:
Helena(as Faison enters)Welcome back to Port Charles, Faison.
Faison:I actually missed this dreary little hamlet. There's no one I 
enjoy tormenting more than the people in this town.
Helena:Did you leave the birth certificate behind in the safe for Luke 
and Mr. Corinthos to find.
Faison:Yes, it was a close thing. I just made it out of your bedroom 
with mere seconds to spare.
Helena:Did they take the bait?
Faison:Of course, they took off on a flight to the italian riviera, this 
morning.
Helena:And did you speak with the doctor who was there when Anna Scorpio 
gave birth?
Faison:Yes, he'll say exactly what you want him to say.
Helena:Excellent. Speaking of the Scorpios. Do you think Luke will sport 
them while he's in San Remos?
Faison:I think there's a very good chance of it happening. After all, it 
is a very small fishing village.
Helena:Even better. Luke should be so busy chasing after the Scorpios he 
won't give a second thought to those checks I wrote to my sister.

Brenda's Room, Nobody Leaves Manor:
Mike(enters)I came over as soon as you called. You sounded upset on the 
phone. What is it?
Brenda:It's over between Sonny and I for good, this time, Mike.
Mike:What happened?
Brenda:(hands him the letter)Sonny sent me this. (Mike skims through 
it)Congratulations, Mike, you're going to be a grandfather.
Mike:Do you think this is true?
Brenda:It's Sonny's handwriting. If it isn't true why would he write 
something like this to me? Mike, I was so sure we were going to get back 
together. I could feel it after that night we made love in the 
Quartermaine boathouse. But I should have known it wasn't going to 
happen when I was so sure I was pregnant with Sonny's child and the 
doctor told me I wasn't. It really is over between us for good, this 
time.
Mike:What are you going to do?
Brenda:Exactly what Sonny urged me to do. Marry Jax, tomorrow. Will you 
give me away.
Mike:Sure, if you're sure that's what you want.
Brenda:It is.
Jax(with his ear pressed up against the door, eavesdropping on thier 
conversation)Yes!

The Beach, Spoon Island:
Stefan(watches Bobbie sleep from their swimming and love making and 
thinks once again of another time, another place and another 
woman)Roberta, that was incredible.(they collapse on the blanket and 
wrap their wet, nude bodies around themselves)
Roberta:Yes, it was so freeing feeling the water against our skin 
without the constriction of clothes, wasn't it.
Stefan:You're a bad influence on me, Roberta.
Roberta:I think I'm just the opposite. I think you need someone like me 
in your life to show you how to have fun. To get you to be impulsive. 
Take for instance our current situation. Were both sitting here wrapped 
up in a blanket as naked as the day we were born. What do you want to do 
about it?
Stefan:A gentleman would do nothing.
Roberta:But what do you want to do?
Stefan:I want to kiss you.
Roberta:Then why don't you.
Stefan:Because if I do I won't just stop at a kiss.
Roberta:Who says I want you to stop.(then she takes the decision out of 
his hands and pulls him to her and kisses him while pressing her nude 
body against his)
Stefan(shakes his head to clear it of the past)When I was with Barbara, 
I thought of Katherine. When I was with Katherine, I thought of Laura. 
When I was with Laura, I thought of Barbara. And now that I'm back with 
Barbara, I'm thinking of Roberta. Can't I even be satisfied with what I 
have?

Outdoor Cafe, San Remos:
Sonny:Luke, you must be seeing things. They can't be here. They're dead.
Luke:I'm telling you it was them. Come on.(as they head over to the 
table some newly arriving customers block their way)Excuse us. (when the 
customers pass by the table is empty and a waiter is clearing away the 
dishes)Pardon me? Do you know where the couple who was sitting here 
went?
Waiter:They just left.
Luke:Come on, Sonny, maybe if we hurry we can catch them. (they rush to 
the front of the restuarant in time to see Robert and Anna climbing in a 
convertible and driving off)My god, it is them. Come on, let's follow 
them before they get away.
Sonny(attention is caught by a wanted poster plastered against the 
building. He rips it down.)My god!
Luke:Come on, Sonny, we're going to lose them.
Sonny(hands the poster to Luke)Luke, look at this.
Luke:(takes it from him)What is it? Wanted For Murder: Veronica 
Barrett...Barrett, as in Brenda Barrett?
Sonny:It's Brenda's mother.
Luke:I thought she was dead.
Sonny:Brenda survived the accident and so did she, apparently. Luke, 
I've got to get back to Port Charles. She's there. I've seen her. She 
tried to murder Brenda once. I think she's come back to finish the job. 
She was talking about the wedding. I think that's when she's planning to 
strike.
Luke:(looks at Robert and Anna's car disappearing in the distance)Sonny, 
I have to stay here. I have to follow them.
Sonny:Luke, do what you've got to do and I'll do the same. Good luck.
