Lockerbee Bridge:
Stefan(watchins as the river's being dragged for Katherine's 
body)Commissioner Scorpio, have they found anything yet?
Mac:No, you want to tell me, again, what happened here?
Stefan:I was furious with  Katherine for that scene she caused with 
Barbara at the Jacks/Barrett engagement ball. You were there, so you 
witnessed it, yourself, firsthand. Commissioner Scorpio, I believe 
Katherine Bell was obsessed with me.
Mac:What makes you say that?
Stefan:I am aware of your previous relationship with Katherine, 
Commissioner Scorpio, but I knew a side of her she never showed to you. 
A vindictive, clingy, obsessive side. She blamed me for her fall from 
the parapet, yet she came to me and offered herself to me. She, as she 
put it, was giving me one last chance to be with her before she 
destroyed me. Her words, not mine. When I didn't take her up of her 
offer, she lured Nikolas into her bed to pay me back. Then she tried to 
destroy my relationship with Nikolas by first telling him I was his 
father, then telling him his real father was Luke Spencer. The night she 
caused the scene at the party, Nikolas had finally come to his senses 
about her and ended their liason. Then somehow she sensed Barbara and I 
were together, again, and that's why she caused that disgusting scene.
Mac:What happened when you arrived at the Quartermaines.
Stefan:She was drinking when I entered. I could tell it wasn't her first 
since she wasn't very steady on her feet, not to mention her breath 
wreaked of alcohol. I'm afraid I was a bit harsh with her, but I thought 
that was the only way she'd get the message that I wanted nothing more 
to do with her. I'd finally reached my breaking point with her. She'd 
finally pushed me too far. Anyway, when I started lambasting her, 
Katherine grabbed her purse and ran out of the Quartermaines. I decided 
to go after her when Edward Quartermaine voiced his concern about her 
being behind the wheel in her condition.
Mac:What happened after that.
Stefan:It took me awhile to finally catch up with her, but I finally 
did. Her car was weaving all over the road and when she saw me behind 
her she floored the gas pedal and lost control of her car as she was 
driving over the bridge.
Taggert:(approaches carrying an empty bottle of vodka)I found this in 
Miss Bells' car.
Stefan:This seems to support your story that Katherine was drinking, Mr. 
Cassadine.(he turns to Taggert)What about the Coast Guard?
Taggert:They're calling in their men. Its their expert opinion Miss 
Bell's body was swept out to sea and will never be recovered.
Mac:Do they think there's any chance she might have survived?
Taggert:They say the current is so strong no one could swim in it. 
Especially someone who was under the influence. They believe that anyone 
who went into that spot in the river would have drowned in a matter of 
minutes. I'm sorry, Commissioner Scorpio, Katherine Bell is dead. 
There's no doubt about it. And this time it's for good.

Port Charles Grille:
Carly(takes a seat at Jax's table)I shouldn't be meeting you here. It's 
dangerous for us to be seen in public together. If Sonny finds out he 
might get suspicious.
Jax:I just thought you'd want to be kept updated on the latest 
developments since they'll no doubt impact your marriage.(he pauses for 
effect)Brenda is pregnant and Corinthos is the father.
Carly:What makes you so sure it's Sonny's. Couldn't it just as easily be 
yours?
Jax:There's no possibility of that I can assure you. She hasn't let me 
touch her since she came back. I suppose some might say it's romantic 
what she's doing. You see, she's saving herself for Corinthos.
Carly:I'm surprised she hasn't run to Sonny with this news by now.
Jax:There's a simple explanation for that. You see, Brenda doesn't know 
she's pregnant.
Carly:You know she's pregnant, but she doesn't. What are you? Psychic or 
something?
Jax:It's a long story. I found out she'd taken one of those home 
pregnancy tests and the results were postive, so when she went to her 
doctor to confirm it I convinced him to tell her she wasn't really 
pregnant, after all. I bought myself enough time to have my revenge, but 
eventually Brenda's going to realize she's pregnant and when she does 
she'll make a beeline straight for Corinthos. Which will no doubt send 
your house of cards tumbling down around your ears.
Carly:Before that happens why don't you just do her so she'll think the 
kid is yours instead of Sonny's.
Jax;I already tried that, but, as I said before, she's saving it all for 
Corinthos.
Carly:Maybe it's a good thing we're meeting. It just so happens that I 
have a little newflash for you, too. Last night, Sonny told me he thinks 
he might be falling in love with me.
Jax:And why would you think I'd even care?
Carly:That's not all he said. Sonny also said that he had to make a 
choice about Brenda before your wedding takes place because if he lets 
Brenda actually go through with marrying you without trying to stop it 
he'll have to respect your marriage and let her go. Don't you see. If 
you can get Brenda to marry you before Sonny can make a decision about 
what he wants to do then he'll have no choice but to let her go no 
matter how he feels aboaut her or if he decides he wants her back.
Jax;I don't want to marry, Brenda, I just want revenge on her. And once 
I have it, I intend to go on with the plans I had before Brenda 
reteurned and messed everything up. That's to marry V.
Carly:Look, I told you before and I'll tell you, again. Marrying Brenda 
is your revenge. Jax, everyday Sonny becomes more mine and less hers. I 
can feel it in the way Sonny is when he's with me. If you marry her I 
know Sonny will finally let her go and give his heart entirely to me. 
Don't you see, that will be your ultimate revenge on Brenda. Costing 
Brenda the thing she wants most in the world, Sonny, will completely 
devastate her. By marrying her and keeping her away from Sonny long 
enough for Sonny to totally commit himself to me heart, mind, body and 
soul, you'll be having the ultimate revenge on Brenda. And when you 
think about it it'll also be the ultimate irony, too. Everything she's 
done and is doing to you is so she can get Sonny back. Don't you think 
her punishment should fit her crime?
Jax:You seem to be forgetting something. Brenda's pregnant with 
Corinthos child and it's only a matter of time before she realizes it. 
He gave up Brenda, the love of his life, when Lily was pregnant with his 
child. So what makes you think he'll stay with you when he finds out.
Carly:That's simple. Because by the time Brenda finds out she's pregnant 
with Sonny's child, I'll be too.

Brownstone:
Stefan(enters)Have you got everything packed.
Bobbie:Yes, how did it go?
Stefan:It worked. The police believe Katherine is dead. Mac Scorpio was 
a bit suspicious, but there's nothing he can do, so he'll have no choice 
but to let it go.
Bobbie:Stefan, what if Tony isn't through playing his games with 
Katherine's body, yet?
Stefan:He'll have a hard time sneaking Katherine's body on to the 
island, which is why I'm glad you finally saw reason and agreed to move 
out there with me.
Bobbie:Stefan, how will we explain it if Katherine's body shows up. Tony 
could still try to use it to cause trouble for us.
Stefan:Barbara, I really don't think he's going to do anything more with 
it. I mean, he had the perfect opportunity to set me up for Katherine's 
murder when he called the police and they pulled me over and searched 
the trunk of my car. If he's left the body in my trunk I'd be cooling my 
heels in Port Charles County Jail, as we speak, so I don't think he'll 
pull anything else with the body. Besides, not to be indelicate, but 
Katherine's body must be starting to decompose by now. Jones must now 
he's got to get rid of it. I mean, it's not like he can take her to the 
local mortician and have her embombed. No, Barbara, I really believe 
we've seen and heard the last of Katherine Bell.
