The Docks:
Sonny(is standing on the docks staring out at the water when he suddenly 
senses someone standing behind him and turns around)Brenda! It can't be. 
They said you were dead.
Brenda(walks towards him)It's true, baby. I'm alive.
Sonny:Does Jax know. He must be thrilled that you've come back to him.
Brenda(caresses his cheek)I haven't come back to Jax, baby, I've come 
back to you.
Sonny:What are you saying?
Brenda:Sonny, I love you and I've never stopped for an instant.
Sonny(holds her face in his hands)Do you really mean that?
Brenda(nods)What about you. Do you feel the same way about me.
Sonny;I'll love you until the day I die. God, I thought I'd lost you, 
forever.
Brenda:You'll never lose me. Don't you know that.(as they begin kissing 
passionately, Brenda turns over in her bed in California clutching her 
pillow to her)Promise me we'll never be apart, again, Sonny.(she wakes 
up, disappointed)It was just a dream. But it can be real if I return to 
Port Charles.

Sonny's Penthouse:
Carly(flings herself in Sonny's arms when he opens the door)Sonny, 
you've got to help me. I don't have anyone else to go to. I don't know 
what to do. You've got to help me stop them.
Sonny:Carly, calm down, and tell me what's wrong.
Carly:Sonny, the Q's have thrown me out and they've taken Michael from 
me.
Sonny:What! They can't do that. Come in and tell me everything that 
happened.
Carly:When I came home the Q's had packed up all my things and told me 
to get out. AJ and Keesha followed me to Jake's and they video taped us 
dirty dancing. They told me the minute the judge sees it, he'll realize 
what an unfit mother I am and grant them permanent custody of Michael.
Sonny:I'm afraid they might be right. We were running our hands under 
each other's clothes and going at it in front of everyone. We almost 
didn't make it upstairs and we certainly didn't make it to the bed. 
Still, if that's all they've got, there's a good chance you could beat 
them in court.
Carly:That's not all. AJ bragged that he and the old man are going to 
pay a bunch of the regulars at Jakes to lie in court and say I slept 
with them. Sonny, is there anything you can do to stop them. If they 
make you testify in court, you'll have to tell the judge we went 
upstairs and had sex after not knowing each other for five minutes and 
the judge will believe all the lies the Q's are telling about me. Sonny, 
from the moment Michael was born, they've been trying to steal him from 
me. If you can't think of a way to stop them, they're finally going to 
succeed. Do you have any ideas, at all.
Sonny:Yeah, I've got a couple. For starters, I can talk to AJ and try to 
convince him to drop the custody suit.
Carly:Why would he do that.
Sonny:I own a block of ELQ stock. I'll offer it to him in exchange for 
him dropping the case against you.
Carly:You really think it'll work.
Sonny:There's something AJ wants more than Michael. That's his family's 
respect. My stock combined with his will get it for him.
Carly:How.
Sonny:AJ will have more stock than any other member of his family. He'll 
have the power and with that power will come the respect he craves. But 
only if he gives up any idea of taking Michael away from you.

The Brownstone:
Tony(approaches the building and is shocked to see Bobbie and Lucas 
sitting on the front stoop)Why isn't she in jail where she belongs.(he 
gets as close as he can to them without being seen and listens to their 
conversation)
Lucas:Mommy, is Daddy ever coming back.
Bobbie:No, Lucas, he's never coming back.
Lucas:Because of what he did to you?
Bobbie:Yes, because of what he did to me. If he comes back they'll send 
him to prison and he knows that.
Tony:(in the bushes muttering)They'll put me in prison because of what I 
did to her. I like that. She's the one who tried to kill me and buried 
me alive. And she thinks she got away with it, too.
Lucas:Mommy, will Jerry be my new daddy.
Bobbie:I don't know. You see, before Jerry can become your daddy, he has 
to become my husband, first, and he hasn't asked me.
Tony:Jerry Jacks will be Lucas' father over my dead body. So you think 
you've gotten away with killing me, do you, Bobbie. Well, I'll just have 
to show you, otherwise.

Port Charles Grille:
AJ(sits down at Sonny's table)Why did you want me to meet you here.
Sonny:To make you an offer you can't refuse. That is if you're smart.
AJ:Boy, you just love playing the ganster, don't you. I bet when you 
were a little boy while all the other little boys were pretending to be 
Batman or James Bond, you were pretending to be Al Capone. Just what is 
this offer you want to make me.
Sonny:If you agree in writing to give up any idea of ever taking Michael 
away from Carly, I'll give you my ELQ stock, instead.
AJ:You expect me to trade my son for some stock.
Sonny:Come on, AJ, we both know the only reason you want to take Micheal 
away from Carly is to impress the old man. You'll impress the hell out 
of him if you become the majority stockholder.
AJ:No deal.
Sonny:Don't be a fool. If you insist on taking this thing to court, I'll 
make sure you lose. Be smart and walk away the winner. Take my offer, 
and you'll be in the driver's seat. Ashton delights in ridiculing you as 
being a loser. But if you have my stock combined with your own you'll 
have more than Ashton and it'll drive him nuts. Just thing about it, AJ. 
You'll finally have the last laugh on Cousin Ned.
AJ:No deal, Corinthos. I'm going to come out the winner in court. 
There's nothing you can do to help Carly win the custody case. And after 
I win, if you're still interested in selling your stock to me, I'd be 
more than happy to give you above the market value. Then next time you 
see your bed partner, you tell her for me, I'll see her in court.(he 
gets up and exits)
Carly(rushes over to the table)Well, did it work.
Sonny:No, Ashton's right. AJ's a loser. He turned me down.
Carly:What are we going to do now.
Sonny:Go to plan B.(he takes her hand across the table)Don't worry, 
Carly. I'm not going to let the Q's take Michael from you. I'll stop 
them no matter what I have to do.

Somewhere In California:
Katz:You're sure about this, Brenda.
Brenda:Dr. Katz, I want to be with Sonny, again. And the only way that 
can happen is if I return to Port Charles.
Katz:You know what that will entail, don't you. You'll have to tell Jax 
the truth and you said you didn't want to hurt him.
Brenda:I've been thinking, Dr. Katz. Maybe it would be the best thing 
for Jax if he knows the truth. Maybe the truth would finally set him 
free sohe could find someone who can truly love him the way he wants to 
be loved.
Katz:All right, since your mind is made up, I'll return to Port Charles 
with you.
Brenda:(throws her arms around Katz)Thank you, Dr. Katz. When can we 
leave.

Sonny's Penthouse:
Sonny:So you can get me the names of the men the old man is paying to 
lie about Carly.
Justus:That shouldn't be any problem. They have to submit the names of 
thier witnesses to the court.
Sonny:Good, then I should have no problem finding these men and 
persuading them to tell the truth at the custody hearing.
Justus:That takes care of the witnesses Edward's paid to lie, but what 
about that tape of you and Carly.
Sonny:We're going to take care of that, this afternoon.(he looks at his 
watch)In fact, I'd better leave now or I'm going to be late.

The Brownstone:
Bobbie(and Jerry are sitting on the couch sipping wine)Lucas asked me, 
today, if you were going to be his new father.
Jerry:And what did you say?
Bobbie:I explained to him that you can't become his new father until you 
become my husband, first.
Jerry:You're husband. I kind of like the sound of that.
Bobbie:I wasn't dropping a hint that you should marry me. I'm not even 
sure I'm even ready for marriage, again.
Jerry:Bobbie, I was really worried when you were missing. Maybe it's 
time we thought about taking our relationship to the next level.
Bobbie:Really? You mean it?
Jerry:Really.(as he begins to lower his mouth to hers, Bobbie spots Tony 
staring in the window at her and screams bloody murder)
