CHAPTER ONE-HUNDRED AND NINE
THE PENTHOUSE:
Sonny(opened his eyes and smiled as he watched Carly standing on a chair)Carly, what are you doing up there? You shouldn’t be standing on a chair in your condition.
Carly: I’m removing all the cameras that old hag planted in our home so she could watch us like a couple of bugs under a microscope.
Sonny: She did what! Why didn’t you tell me this, last night.
Carly: I wanted to give her one more night of Sonny and Carly entertainment. I wanted her to see that instead of tearing us apart, she just made us closer than we were before. (she turned back to the camera and yanked it out)That was is the last one. (she got down from the chair and came back over to him.)So, how are you feeling this morning, baby.
Sonny(leaned up and kissed her belly. Ever since he finally overcame his fear, he couldn’t stop kissing or caressing her stomach. It was like he wanted to make-up to the baby for keeping himself from her for so long)I feel like the luckiest man alive. I never thought I could be this happy.
Carly(sat down on the bed beside him and ran her fingers through his hair.)If you’d just told me what that old biddy was up to, we wouldn’t have had to suffer one moment of heartache. Sonny, do you remember how we handled AJ’s death together. (she caressed his face). We worked as a team. Didn’t you noticed how we complimented each other. How in an area one of us is weak in, the other is strong. You can’t kill people, but I can. I had no idea how to get rid of AJ’s body, but you came up with the perfect plan. You came up with the plan of how to get into AJ’s hotel room and clean it out to make it look like he’d left town, while I was able to pen the perfect goodbye note from AJ, which the Quartermaines should be receiving any day now. It’s like were two halves of the same whole and together we complete each other.
Sonny(pulled her head down to his and kissed her)Well, Mrs. Corinthos, this half of the whole wants to join with you, again, so we can feel complete.
Carly(couldn’t resist giggling)Mr. Corinthos, I love it when you talk dirty to me.
HELENA’S YACHT:
Helena(was pacing the floor like a caged tiger)That little bitch thinks she’s so smart. She thinks there’s nothing I can do to her and her precious husband. She doesn’t know how wrong she is.
Andreas: Madam, just forget about the Corinthos’. You tried your best to make them miserable, and it just didn’t work.
Helena: I will not have them thinking they’ve won. There’s still something I can do to them, and it will insure that they’re miserable for the rest of their lives. Come along, Andreas, we have work to do.
Andreas(followed her off the boat)Yes, Madam, as you wish.
THE DOCKS:
Stefan(was watching Helena’s yacht through a pair of binoculars)She and Andreas are leaving on the launch.
Bobbie: Stefan, this is getting to be a really bad habit of yours taking me with you when you break and enter into places.
Stefan: I’m just being a good jungle cat bringing my mate along with me to watch my back.
Bobbie: Very funny.
Stefan: You know I can’t leave you alone. Not with that madwoman running around lose. You could very well be her next target. Not to mention I’m trying to correct the mistakes I made when we were married. My keeping secrets from you is what caused you to doubt me and made you prey to your brother’s plot to break us up.
Bobbie: You unleashing a computer virus when Audrey was being operated on, not to mention fooling around with Katherine Bell is what ruined our marriage.
Stefan: As I said, I was keeping secrets from you, and you in turn betrayed me for your brother. Considering that little fact I think it’s very magnanimous of me to trust you enough to be my look-out while I sneak aboard the yacht.
Bobbie: Just what do you expect to find on the yacht?
Stefan: You don’t want to know.
Bobbie: Oh, so you’re already keeping secrets from me.
Stefan: If you must know, I’m expecting to find Jasper Jack’s dead body somewhere on her boat. Now you’re sorry I told you, aren’t you?
Bobbie: Why would she be keeping Jax’s dead body on her boat?
Stefan: Because the woman is insane. She’s coming up with these ludicrous plans that have very little chance of working. Killing Jax ahead of time was a huge mistake. Killing Laura, Chloe and Felicia Jones in the same night and making it look like Jax’s swan song, then having him continue to kill more women was a mistake. She should have killed those three women, then made it look like Jax shot himself in the head and laid him next to Chloe. That’s what I would have done. Her plans are becoming more off-the-wall and I have to figure out the best way to make them work for me so I can pull off what I’ve got planned without being caught.
Bobbie: You’re planning to kill her, aren’t you?
Stefan: Yes, I am. Can you handle that?
Bobbie: I don’t know. Stefan, I trained to be a nurse because I wanted to save lives, and here you are telling me you intend to take one.
Stefan; Barbara, how many lives has she taken, herself. How many more lives will she take if she isn’t stopped.
Bobbie: Stefan, that’s not why you’re going to kill her. You want to make her pay for killing your mother and depriving you of the mother’s love that could have been yours.
Stefan: What does it matter why I kill her, as long as I kill her. Barbara, I don’t try to disguise my actions as noble and selfless the way your brother does. I’m not a nice man and I do a lot of not very nice things. You’ve had firsthand experience of that. Before we go any further with this thing between us you’d better decide if you can deal with that better now than you could before.
Bobbie: And if I can’t.
Stefan: I’ll let you go. The choice is yours. If anyone goes back on to the yacht while I’m searching it, call me on my cell phone and use the signal we discussed. I’ll be back as soon as I can. (with that she watched him head to the yacht in the boat that had brought them from Spoon Island.)
