CHAPTER EIGHTY-ONE

STEFAN’S ROOM, GENERAL HOSPITAL:

Alexis: Stefan, what if there is no proof to find. Helena isn’t stupid. She wouldn’t have left any evidence behind to link her to the crime. And even if she had, by now she’s gotten rid of all of it.

Stefan: I won’t let my mother get away with this. There must be something we can do. Call Mac Scorpio.

Alexis: Why? We don’t have any proof against Helena, only your suspicions.

Stefan: We can still Scorpio our suspicions. Maybe the buffoon will get lucky and find something against mother. Maybe we could even help him find something.

Alexis: What are you suggesting? That we frame Helena for being the Sex Toy Stalker. That we plant evidence to implicate her in the crimes.

Stefan: Why not. Helena has done it herself a time or two. So why shouldn’t we return the favor.

Alexis: Stefan, I don’t know...

Stefan: Call Scorpio, Alexis. Ask him to come over here, immediately.

THE BATHROOM, THE PENTHOUSE:

Carly(and Sonny were lounging in a bubble bath soaking away the trauma of the day.)Feeling better, Baby.

Sonny:(flashed his dimples at Carly as he gave her a sexy smile)How could I not be feeling better. Every man likes to be pampered. You just gave me a bath to remember. The last time a woman bathed me, it was my mother and I was a child. And my mother used a soapy washcloth to wash me, not her sudsy hot little hands like you just did.

Carly: It also doesn’t hurt that I can’t get enough of touching you, either. But all good things must come to an end. The water’s getting cold and it’s time for us to get out of our bubble bath of love.

Sonny(laughed as he helped Carly stand up and he helped her climb out of the tub)Bubble bath of love?

Carly: Well, that’s what it was, wasn’t it. (she ran her hands up his wet, slippery chest) It was an erotic experience filled with the passion we feel for each other.

Sonny: I just thought of the perfect job for you. They should get you to write those smutty little slogans on those bottles of perfume that are passed off as some kind of aphrodisiac to attract the opposite sex.

Carly(stopped Sonny from drying himself off with the towel)Don’t! I think it might be more fun if we fell into the satin sheets on our bed all wet and wild for each other. There’s nothing more erotic then wet skin rubbing up against wet skin. (she added)You are wild for me, aren’t you, Sonny.

Sonny(took her hand and slid it down to his crotch)Does that answer your question.

Carly: Do you think you have the strength to carry your very pregnant wife to the bed.

Sonny: I think I’ll manage it somehow. (then he lifted her up in his arms like she was as light as a feather).

STEFAN’S ROOM, GENERAL HOSPITAL:

Mac: So you think your mother is the Sex Toy Stalker. And why do you think that?

Stefan: I already told you why. If you’d stop thinking everything that’s coming out of my mouth is a lie and listen to me, you’d see it, too.

Mac: What I see is that you’re having a fit because your mother gave you a kidney and you want to send her to prison to thank her for saving your life. I am not going to allow you to use me or my department in this sick, never-ending feud you’ve got going with your mother.

Alexis: Commissioner Scorpio, you’re letting your prejudices against Stefan blind you to what he’s trying to tell you.

Mac: That his mother is going around shoving dildos down soiled doves throats. But I haven’t heard a reason why she’d do that.

Stefan: The first victim was just a smoke screen, and Hannah Scott was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I believe my mother was after Tammy Carson for personal reasons I don‘t wish to disclose. Then once the killings started, I think she thought that she could also dispose of a few other women she has no use for in this town, like Barbara and Laura, and pin it on the Stalker. I stopped her from killing Barbara, and if I hadn’t stopped her, I believe Laura would have been next.

Mac: You believe a lot, don’t you, Mr. Cassadine. Let me tell you what I believe Mr. Cassadine. You’re obsessed with your mother. If the sun doesn’t shine one day, you think it’s your mother’s fault. GH has a lot of good psychiatrists. Maybe it’s time you started seeing one to help you deal with your fixation on your mother.

Stefan: How dare you! Who do you think you’re talking to. I am Stefan Cassadine and I don’t have to take this treatment from a mere peasant like you. I could have you fired and if you don’t agree to launch an immediate investigation against my mother, that’s exactly what I’m going to do.

Mac: You know, Mr. Cassadine, if you want someone to cooperate with you, you shouldn’t threaten them.

Alexis: Mac, Stefan is just overwrought. Even though he can’t prove Helena is behind this, he knows she is. So do I. I know we’ve offered you no proof, but would you consider checking out Helena just on the off-chance that we’re right.

Stefan: Alexis, stop trying to placate this peon of the police department. We’ll just investigate this ourselves and once we find the proof we need, we’ll rub his nose in it. Hopefully, too many more women won’t have died because of you.

Alexis: Stefan! Mac, just ignore him. He just went through major surgery and he’s just not himself.

Mac: From where I’m standing he’s behaving just like his normal self. Look, I’ll think about checking this out. That’s all I can promise.

Alexis: That’s all we can ask of you since we’ve given you no real proof against Helena. Isn’t that right, Stefan.

Stefan: Whatever.

Mac: Now if you excuse me. As always, Mr. Cassadine, it’s been a real pleasure. (just as Mac was opening the door a bloodcurdling scream suddenly filled the air.)
