SAWASDEE FROM THE "LAND OF SMILE", THAILAND

TUK TUK. My chosen mode of transportation while in Bangkok. It's great fun and very inexpensive, and fun to haggle over the price with the good natured drivers. Thailand. I have to admit, if one day you knock on my door and find me gone, you'll find me in Thailand, The Land of Smile. Thailand is my "pick country" in Asia and it is truly the Land of Smile. The Thai people are without doubt, the warmest, most friendly, gentle people in all of Asia. I do love them so. All the things you've heard about Bangkok, guess what, they are true, but if you think this is all there is to Thailand, you've missed it completely. Everyone deserves "one night in Bangkok"...and the days are very impressive too....sawasdee Thailand, with all my respect.

Deeply spiritual and religious, the Thai people. Please, if you go to Thailand, treat them with all the dignity and respect they deserve. If you do, you'll have a "soul-mate" for life. Quiet contemplation is part of the Thai secret to their gentle nature. 

This statue found outside my favorite restaurant in Bangkok. It's mate will be in my next web page. The restaurant is like an oasis within the noisy clamber, traffic jammed and dust of the Bangkok streets. Pah, I'll always think fondly of you, I owe you.
