Amon Marie
 Amon Marie has been writing stories for almost eight years now. She absolutely loves it and can dream of nothing better to do. She got into fanfiction only a couple of years ago, but her fanfictions are already beautiful and unique, as she has been perfecting her style and imagination since she was ten.
Her real name is Leah, but her pen name is Amon Marie. She says it was taken from her middle names.
Leah will celebrate her eighteenth birthday on June 2nd. She hopes to go to college next year and major in, what else: writing. Her favorite genres to write are fantasy, mystery, and drama. We all know she's great at action and romance, too, though. ;) Her favorite fanfictions to write are Jack/Janet and Harry Potter.
On a more casual note, she loves anime and manga, J-Pop/Rock, The Lord of the Rings, the Harry Potter series, reading, eating, building websites and managing fanlistings, listening to her pastor preach, going to the movies, playing video games, and spending time with her closest friends.

Q and A with Leah
Recently I was able to have a chat with Leah on AIM and she answered some questions that she said I could put here. Here they are. :)
Q: What inspired you to start writing?
A: Well, I'd have to say it was loneliness, actually. I was ten and I had just moved to Colorado from another state. I had no friends, I was shy--you know the story. So I decided to write a story about my "big move", but throw in some imaginary characters, spice up the real people I knew, and basically give my "big move" a happy ending. And that's where it started.
Have you ever finished any books?
Ah...yes, I've finished a couple. Mostly I just start stories, though, lol.
Lol! What is the name of the first story you finished? How old were you?
The name...oh yeah, it was Everything Changes and I was either eleven or twelve, I don't really remember now. It was actually that story I was talking about before.
Oh. When did you start writing fanfiction?
It was a couple of years ago or something. I don't really remember that either, lol.
Why did you start writing fanfiction?
Well, I was into Tomb Raider ff then and I remember reading a lady's TR ff story and I reviewed it, mentioning that I liked to write. She encouraged me to write ff. She said it would help me build more writing skills and stuff. So I wrote my first ff--a crappy Christmas Tomb Raider story, lol.
Cool. You say it was crappy but I bet it wasn't.

Let's get to A Little Rain Must Fall. Summarize it. :)
Oi, that's quite a lot to ask. Okay. Well, Jack is in this supposed accident, which turned him into a dog. I mean, not a real dog, but he acts like one. Janet resolves to train him back into a human. And really it just takes place over a couple of months and you kind of follow Janet on this interesting journey to change Jack back. I'd say it starts to get intense a little bit later. There's definitely some mystery, and I tried to slip in as many Jack/Janet moments as I could without making the story seem unreal, you know?
You did really great. I just have to tell you again that ALRMF is the best fanfiction I think I've ever read!!

Oh gosh, no. All my other stories haven't even reached 10!! I didn't think this one would get so many!
Where did the idea come from? Jack acting like an animal and everything.
I really don't know. I think of some of the strangest things. My imagination is a scary place--we're talking Alice in Wonderland scary!! Yeah, I really have no idea where it came from, lol.
Before I forget I have to tell you that I loved the scene with Scooby-Doo! Your other cameos were funny too!

Were you going to have more cameos?
I was, actually. I kept trying to figure out how to slip Josie and the Pussycats in there, because that is one of my favorite old cartoons, but I just couldn't find a way of doing that without trailing away from the plot line. And then I was going to have Buffy--you know, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer--come in and try to figure out if Jack was cursed or something, this being her area of expertise. But by the time I got to a spot where I wanted to put her we were at the broadcast and everything and I just felt that the plot had to move on, so she never made it either. :(
That's too bad. Buffy would have been fun. Let's see...what else can I ask you...
Actually, I have to be going soon. I have E-Team at church this afternoon. :-D
In your blog you sound like you're really involved at your church. I'm not sure that I should touch on religion, but...what religion are you anyway? I used to be Catholic.

Did any of your beliefs shine into ALRMF?
Of course. :) Yeah, when Jerry is talking to Janet and telling her that "unto each life a little rain must fall" and he talks about control in the universe, that comes from my beliefs. Also just Janet making the right decision with Jack was from my Christian morals. There were plenty of others, too. Jack praying was one of my favorite scenes. :)
I know you have to go so I'll just ask one more question. Are you planning on having a sequel or writing anymore J/J ff?
Right now I'm just considering it. I did enjoy this one, but the problem I would have with writing another one is that I really have no ideas for a new plotline. Right now I just want to finish ALRMF and take a little break before I get back into another one, but I'll keep you posted. :)
So if you decide to make another one I'll be the first to know?
