Slope Soaring in Albany is like being in Heaven. Albany has to be one of the best places in WA to conduct Slope Soaring.  We have cliffs facing virtually every point on the compass.  He are some pics taken down near the Albany windmills, otherwise known as Sand Patch.

On Saturday February 21st 2004 a group of about 12 flyers headed off to Marine Drive for a fun day.  The main event was the Limbo which was fun.  The wind was on and off throughout the day but fun was had by all.  Here are a few pics.
On Sunday 26/09/04 brother James, brother Railway Bob and brother Dave, devout members of the Church of the Rotating Propeller, went to the Sand Patch after power flying .  Brother James, not having a glider, decided to go look for a glider lost by Luke over a year ago and found it.  Losers Weepers!
