BIRTH
DAY PRAYER
I hear the beat of an unborn
heart
see the kicks so strong,
As a tiny miracle grows
inside
my heart fills with song.
Life's most precious gift
a brand new soul on earth,
The wonder of a baby
the miracle of birth.
May God keep him safe
as he quietly grows,
May he be born healthy
with all his fingers and
toes.
May his birth be gentle
delivered in loving joy,
Then placed in the arms
of parents
who will adore a girl or
boy.
A tiny bundle from heaven
to complete their circle
of love,
May he sleep safely in his
parent's arms
as we thank the Lord above.
