My teaching philosophy is based on the fact that I feel that every student should be allowed equal opportunities to learn the material presented. I will strive for equality in the classroom. I will also work with the student that are on lower levels and help them to bring up their skills. Also, I will keep my lessons challenging so that the gifted students will have an equal opportunity to learn. I feel that my mathematics classroom should be a safe place for students to bridge the gap between their prior knowledge of the subject and the next level of mathematical knowledge. I feel that every student should be successful in their own personal accomplishments in my classroom. Their personal successes will be determined on their own work and by the improvements they will show in my classroom. |
