On March 3, 2004, we had our Level II Ultrasound and learned we are having a baby girl! We are so excited. Her name is picked, the nursery is done - now we are just waiting for her blessed arrival. See you in August!
In my usual anal planning fashion - our daughter's name was picked long before we even conceived. While Jon was living with us, the boys designated every Sunday as football day and commanded the TV to watch multiple games on the NFL Sunday DirectTV package. I would often sit and read a book in the family room while they drank, ate and yelled at the TV. One Sunday I had recevied an email from someone indicating the top 50 baby names for girls and boys. We already agreed that if we had a boy we would like to name him Max. Not only did we like the name, but it was Brian's grandfather's name as well.
For kicks I started to read off the names to the boys during a commercial break. When we hit upon the name Taylor - it was a unanimous yes. When Brian and I agree wholeheartily on something - whether it in choosing a place for dinner or a decorating style - we stop and appreciate the beauty of meeting minds. And so Taylor was chosen and tucked away for the day we learned we were going to have a baby girl.
