Social Update
Hello, everybody! Spring Vacation is almost upon us! Indeed, it will be a very good waste of time for me, because I have so many things I want to do that I couldn't do while school is going! I always seem to update my site at the wierdest times...

Today, I was supposed to put up some progress pictures of my new map I am making for CS:Source, namely, the NFA campus.
:D It's coming along rather nicely, and the new Valve Hammer (Map) Editor is so much nicer, and has some nice properties and many new gizmos and thingies that I can use with the new Source engine! It's so neat, I haven't learned everything that's new yet! That's what makes it so much fun; discovering and using new techniques to create a fun environment while keeping it optimized for you -1.2 CPU processor people out there, with a graphics card from 1998.

What I will also work on during vacation is my story (I'm still working up a good name for it, but for now we will call it Misstake) starring my brothers, friends and I in a crazy adventure of epic proportions as we struggle against hostile forces and trying to discover the reason why we are existing, and who we really are inside. Each character has his own special qualtities and rather "above average" human properties; like one person has a slight premonition quality, and another member is the only one that can see an angel being, etc. But we all have our own faults, pits and imperfections, and the story brings us along into how we will overcome our own problems by supporting eachother, and weathering the storm!

That's a pretty accurate description of my story... I like it. Anyway, that story is coming along nicely, and I'm almost done introducing all the characters back into RpM (but so far, in Microsoft Word, I have over twenty pages in twelve font
:D). It's looking pretty cool so far, and I will post a teaser for it soon (a sample of writing), then you guys can give me some constructive criticisms!

I want to officially thank everybody that commented on my new site layout (see the shoutbox), and I will take into consideration some minute editing (Pancakes!) I want to also remind everybody that if they want me to talk about any material that they are concerned about, if they want to know anything else more specific than what I posted so far, please don't hesitate to ask me! I am always willing to add more material and make more friends on my site! For example, a fellow I know wanted my opinion on how my 'girl situation' is going, and I posted an article on the Opinions Page! Ingenius! Well, I must retire for the day now. Until next time...

Something Different... Again
Now children, together, "Oh Em Gee," I made another layout again. Joy! I like the new look; it's a lot less bland than the previous one. Everything you see is custom, not something borrowed from Geocities like before. :D

A new menu bar obviously, which is on the right side of the screen. I blended Links and Contact pages into one page just for the sake of my personal sanity. The more clever of you will notice the new Picture Of The Month in the upper right hand corner; in this little niche, I will place various pictures of people or things that are somehow related to me, and I can relate to... yes. If you have something you want to get out of your system, by all means e-mail me the picture that you want me to post, and, if it's within reason, I will host it gladly! The picture for this month is a picture of the North side of the NFA library with my good friend Jami standing point in the middle. It looks pretty neat, so I hosted that one first! (I also still have the quote of the month going; if you feel like dropping one, please do!)

I moved the shoutbox down below on the right, below the menu. Sorry guys, I didn't have any more space. If you have any suggestions, then suggest (I will also change the shoutbox's theme soon)!

I didn't finish updating the rest of the pages, but I will complete that the next day. It's pretty late where I am, so I'm going to hit the sack soon. Hope you like the site, and feedback is always appreciated!

*Edit* Due to recent messages I have recieved, you guys are just dying to see me. I relent. Here is a
picture of me. Don't you laugh now, it's late at night.

Late Opportunities
Sorry about the lack of updates, folks. I always seem to be lagging behind, recently. But the good news is that Spring Vacation was all I could hope for! The list of things I very much enjoyed on my short, but stress-relieving vacation, includes:

- Sleeping until noon.
- Staying awake till midnight.
- Using the computer to work on VHE and my story.
- Sleep some more.
- Jog during those nice sunny afternoons out to the park.
- Sitting around reading a good book.
- And sometimes... doing absolutely nothing!

Now after that little list, you ask yourself, "Why didn't he have time to work on his website?" Well, the answer is, I did, but I was having too much fun doing things I couldn't do during the normal school year. At least some of the stress has been partially shaken loose.

It's almost the end of the year. Eek. Next year, college. Double eek. I cannot imagine. Driving a car, too? Eek. Problem is, I have no idea what kind of car I should get (I must be the only guy I know in my age group that is not excited about getting a car when the parents are willing to pay). Any suggestions?

Right now, it's late at night again. Ugh. I only have time for this right now, when everything after school is finished.
D: The only thing that continues to shake my stomach besides is the tournament this coming Saturday. I hate tournaments. I don't like situations where it draws lines, because sometimes, those lines can destroy self-esteem and even ruin a little kids dreams. Um, I'm not speaking from experience.

I always tend to mess up somehow when I am in front of a crowd. My hands uncontrollably shake, my stomach gets very queasy (though not quite nauseated), and I have a cold sweat before I get on stage. This is not good if you play the piano. Doubly so if you are doing a ninety move form in front of three masters you don't know competing for a place. My teacher really wants me to go this time (because I always politely decline all the other tournys), but he was really shaking the house this time, so to speak. He says he has a secret weapon this year, and it's the "Stirbas." Heheh.

I hate tournaments.

That's about all, except for one thing, before I turn in for the night. I promised some people some pictures of de_nfa for CS:S, so here they are.

Girls: Interesting dive into Experiences!

Hmm, let's see, my critique for the week... 4/7/05

Not alot of time on my hands at the moment, but the subject that girls are very strange and curious creatures continues to nag at me. If anyone feels like commenting with the shoutbox, do so on the
home page.

I'm pretty sure alot of my friends heard the story of when a certain 'popular' girl called me an inappropriate comment. Should I tell the story once again? Very well.

In my geometry class two years ago, a girl we will name 'Daisy' was one of those girls that knew they were beautiful, but took cruel advantage of it. With this knowledge, my little way of getting back at them is to not give them the satisfaction of my looking at them whenever they strut around in their new clothes.
This went on for little more than half a year, with the same process of my ignoring her and Daisy being the attention hog in class. But I noticed I was having an effect on her, but I said nothing about it, and instead concentrated on the class.
One day during lunch period, Daisy stopped me in the hallway when I was returning to the classroom. Without preamble, she said, "Stirba, are you gay?" quoted verbatim.
This wasn't a very big surprise, so I casually said, "No, I'm not, sorry," and walked around her. She hasn't talked to me since.

Of course, not all girls are like that. There are some very kind and smart ones out there that I became instant friends with. But, everybody should know this, friends means friends, and no more than that.

Then again, you have your shy girls, your outgoing girls, the preppy girls, sportsy girls and those girls that take advantage of every opportunity. To me, I am rather scared of the aggressive ones, because that gives me a prominent impression that she is talking to me merely for the fact that she likes the way I look and only that, or because she is trying to drop some bait so every boy can oogle at her.

Personally, I was hoping for a very special one to come along, one that reminded me of me, because I like the things I do (no-brainer). Most people like to be with others that are very much alike to them, hence friends! So far, no luck for me. But there are many girls that are wonderful people, and I'm glad to have had met such people in my lifetime.
