The Way Out
Back
It's so dark, it's so cold
It's so quiet in this hole.
I feel broken, I feel used
I feel tired, I feel bruised.

I'm so lonely now,
I need a way out.

So impotent, I'm washed away
As doldrums seep and leave me stained.
I've conquered worlds and made them fear,
So why am I trapped inside here?
A frozen product burning in hell
With no where to hide from my dry spell.

I'm imprisoned now,
I'll find a way out.

(ha ha ha)

I turn to you to ease my head
From deplorable impressures that leave me for dead.
Your child like dreams will turn insane,
While I dig like a glitch driving in your brain.
Never again will I play the fool,
Though there might be no tomorrow for you.

You can scream out loud,
But no one hears you shout.

I have freedom now,
You are my way out.
