Vida is both the political and spirtual leader of the druids. As old as she is wise, she knows what the world is like and worries that Audia will not mature in time to become the next Mamar. She trusts Gannon and the other wizards enough to allow them in the Druid Grove and teach them druidic, and has a firm alliance with the Elven Nation. She tolorates visiting Tiamatans, Orcosians, and few Hylians. She relizes that she won't be able to prevent other peoples from entering the Druid Grove and chooses to bring them in slowly instead of cutting off her people from the rest of the world once again.
No sweet old lady, she gives Audia and the younger Druids a tough kind of love (that usually involves hitting them with her stick) but she does it for their own good. Even though Vida is normally in a very grumpy mood, she is very slow to anger and is one of the most cool headed people in Hylia.
