Sarah loves the story of Samuel ; Eli. We rehearse it enough that she knows where she comes in to participate. One evening about 8:40, as Doug was in the kitchen pouring cereal into a bowl getting a spoon, I was in the bedroom reading the story of God calling Samuel. Just as I got to the part where I say ;and a voice called Sarah being distracted by Doug, says (in a deep ghostly gothic tone) It's Daddy! Trying to get her attention back to the story, I say ;and the voice said...; Sarah then chimes in (again, in a gothic tone)...;I'm hungry!
