Yes, that is how he bills himself and I am not going to argue.  Our niece Carrie mentioned Piri (they were here 7 1/2 years ago), so we decided we had to check out his show.  He only does this once per week and it was scheduled for 1pm on Sunday.  When we got there, however, no one else was there.  Piri explained that they had not been able to find a fish for the feast, so it was postponed for 5pm.  This caused a conflict for us.  Our hotel has barbeques on Sunday at 7pm and we had reserved a space for that.  So, Piri told us to just come back for his show and skip the food.  We did and it was an interesting program.

Piri turned 64 years of age the day after these pictures were taken.  His program consisted of explaining how to climb a tree and how to make fire and then doing both.  In the picture above he is showing us some palm fronds that he has woven together and then shapes into a figure eight.   He then steps into this and uses this to keep his feet together while climbing the tree.  From his place, we walked about 1/8th of a mile down the beach until we came to what I believe is the tallest palm tree on the island.  He then climbed the tree very fast, cut some material and coconuts off, and did some acrobatics which were a bit wild (with no safety net or anything).  He made it look very easy.

There he is, hanging below the top fronds.  He climbed up and stood on top.  I wondered if he was going to jump into the 6" deep stream beside the tree.  He did make you believe that things were possible.
