The Seasons Of Love
Written by: Kristie 11/23/98
Love in spring is a wondrous thing,
In bloom, so bright so new.
Its full of hope and promises ring,
With the first I Love You’s.
Love in summer is steamy and hot,
Passion and Desire abound.
We don’t care if its right or not,
As long as we’re around.
Love in fall takes many turns,
Changes colors, like the trees.
Goes from cold to a fire that burns,
Often varies in degrees.
Love in winter is a delight,
A comfort to our souls.
A sudden knowing, We are right,
A diamond from the coals.
As we travel through this life,
And as the seasons pass,
Through all the triumphs, and the strive,
We build a love that lasts... |
