There stands a man who is whole.
His very heart and soul now full
of happiness and joy and hope,
no longer facing a hangman's rope.
Pulled from the edge of destruction
by a loving woman's thoughtful construction
of words of wisdom, light and dreams,
advice given to him in his time of need.
Her advice he took to heart, her words
of wisdom, so insightful, he heeded,
and quickly discovered that she was
the one that he had always needed
and wondered in his heart, what
could have ever kept these two apart.
Now when he dreams, she is near
and he has abandoned all his fear,
for she is the one that holds the key
to all of the things that he
could ever hope and wish to be.
Without her hand in his to guide
him along life's circular path,
he would never be whole,
but only half.
