The floorboards creak as my feet hit the ground and the clock tick tocks and as such it never stops. My eye darts around, from one corner to the other, as my heart skips a beat I can sense him, he's my brother. With a scratch on the floor, a screech by the door there's a breath on my back and it whispers in my ear - 'turn around', one hundred fold an evil dreaded sound. My eye darts, my skipping heart of hearts, my skin a shiver up my spine I turn to see: he's right behind me. He's there, my shadow, my darling brother, he's there to take me, away he'll take me, away, today he'll take me. * |
