I took this picture while being taunted (bloody tourists!) by a group of teenage girls with wonderfully thick Scouse accents. It's just an ordinary council house that has now been made an historic site by the National Trust because one of the former residents became quite famous.
The tour bus stops here. The guide said that the former resident once drove by to show friends and stopped the car in front here. A boy came up to the car and the now famous resident rolled down the window. The boy proudly informed him, "Paul McCartney useta live 'ere."
