| The Meaning of Life | |||||
| I write to all who reads this and for those who dont I do apologize for any error, I may have caused you. Life is a terrible thing to waste. You are given one chance and if you fail, you are the victum, but from that faliure you are tested. And a victum you are not. Till the end of time a war has striken not only this land that we have given but from with our souls and bodies. Fight if you will and you will die, but will you live? My grammer sucks. My spelling is apalling. My language is a curse. But how are my thoughts? We all care about the one that means most in our life and forget about the one that truly is. Paradox's are unexplainable coincidences. I never thought I would see the day that I lost a war that I was not fighting in. Ever notice that death waits at your door as it approaches the end of your string and always finds his target. Yet, love flies by night and is easily missed. If I die, i will be in hevean for an eternity. So many questions, so little time. You dont know its true love until you let your love fly away...but when it returns should you not be there waiting? A Group of soldiers I once was at the top of a mountain with my fellow soldiers in arms, looking down into the soul of our enemy. From here i noticed how serene and happy it must be down there. As the commander, who none of us have seen, sent the orders to march, most of us fall in rank. The few that did stay back I never saw again. We headed down the path that seemed very crooked and squirrly as it headed to our future. But as I looked back it seems as straight as an arrow. "Are my eyes decieveing me? we walked all this way and it was only that." He and some of his fellows decided to get off the beaten path and try to short cut thier trip...and thier lives. I noticed looking around when we where approaching the castle, many lusious women and how they money and beer flowed throw its kingdom. Men from all around left the line to get their prize. Entering the great wall of the fortress we noticed many of the men that had left where taken to the highest seat in the house where they were impalled and eaten by the residents. Some weak hearted people from the ine decided to run back out of the castle...but they only tripped and fell, some where helped back up by the soldiers on the path and walked with them. We lost thousands of men inside that hell. Outside of the castle we had to climb up a mountain to traverse a great expanse. Many people where being carried up the mountain do to there lack of strength. Some people even went back to the castle thinking it was a trick played on by our commander. At the peak of the mountain was a rope that ran from one side of the mountain to the other. I looked down for but only a second to wonder what demise i would meet from this test of faith. But all i saw was nothing below. I didnt fear that the rope may break, nor did i fear the great expanse that lied beneath, i feared what may lie on the other mountain. Many of the troops decided to wait and not traverse the great deep. But I feared the commander more then anything else and he did lead me all this way and for what? I grabbed the rope and started to move all they way accrosed, my body is sweating and my hands started to bleed from the shards in the rope. I looked forward at the light that shined from the other mountain, knowing that I am soon returning home. Some men before and after me fell one by one down into the deeps, most saying that they dont care and its no worth the pain. One fell and grabbed on to my shoe. I reached down with my blood soaked hand. He yelled that he wanted another chance, I grabbed his forearm and slowly pulled him to the rope where he thanked me and pushed along the rope. Helping and cheering each other on as we toiled through this hellish trip. Where at the end we fell to the cliff below, where the light originated and a voice that boomed "Welcome home, John!" from the guy whose life I saved. ........ ......For it was the commander himself. |
