NOTES : This is a slightly different kind of story for me. It kinda reminds me of Dog Tags in the fact that it was written in one night, almost in one sitting. It was a story that just *had* to be written. I'm perfectly happy with this one <{8^D)

A while ago a friend sent me a song by the actor Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap fame) and it was meant to be the inspiration for a Sliders FanFiction. Only it didn't grab me at the time. The other day I came across it while sitting in the car waiting for the lights to change. Instantly I thought this story up, to the point of actually sitting at the lights, tears in my eyes !! I only hope it gets you, the reader, in the same way.

SUMMARY: When Daniel's grand son comes to visit him to introduce him to his boyfriend, Daniel recalls his greatest love..

Character Death - Established.  Jack O'Neill is already dead but you do 'recall' his death through the mind of Daniel.....  

Onto the story - Grand Dad...
