The television show 'Jackass' is the most watched program on American TV closely followed by 'The Osbournes' and it involves a main cast of 11 idiots for us all to love or hate. It's a classic! nothing this stupid has been done before and it pushes MTV laws to the limit. The leaderof this ridiculous cult, takes part in all of the crap, & along with Jeff Tremaine & Spike Jonze also creates the show. Johnny Knoxville is 31-years-old & lives an almost double life, a loving husband & father of one, & the madness that is 'Jackass.' But Johnny is not the only twisted one, there are also the other 10 members who formed to create the best show......... EVER!
Steve-O is also known as Mr. Pain & performs the most painful things i have seen, including- getting his butt pierced, having his whole body waxed and bobbing for Jellyfish- OUCH!
Chris Pontius- ex exotic dancer- is always dying to get his clothes off! He also has plenty of nicknames to go with each stunt including- 'Party Boy', 'Bunny', 'Chief Roberts' & 'Garbage Man'.
Bam Margera, the skateboarder dude! he loves to beat up his dad on camera & perform many a daring skateboard tricks. Being a pro he also has ties with Tony Hawk, who occasionally appears on the show.
Ryan Dunn- loves to smell. If you want someone to go poo diving in a sewage works, get covered in sea water & fish, or get tarred & feathered then Dunn is your man!
Wee-Man is...well...tiny! He loves to squirt people with his water pistol & dress up as a little umpa-lumpa on a skatebaord. Strange & yet funny!
Brandon DiCamillo is great at impressions. He has a voice for each occasion. he also likes to do stupid things like fly off the end of a tredmill with the rest of the CkY trio- Bam & Ryan.
Ehren McGhehey nicknamed 'Danger Ehren'. Pogo sticking in a water feature, micro-skooting down a hill & blindfolded skateboarding are probably reasons as to why he is called 'Danger.'
Dave England prefers to do embarrasing pranks with poo. 'Poo Hugs' & 'The Poo Diaper' being a select few. He also likes to ride toddlers tricycles down hills- which is odd as he is the oldest member of the crew.
Preston Lacy- wrap him in bubble wrap, place him in Traflagar Square water feature, put Wee-Man on top with an oar & you have got 'The Human Raft.'
Rick Kosick is one of the camera men, who (un)lucky for him, gets involved in the stunts. He also gets the pranks played on him- poor bloke- none of them seem to be on his side!
But the 11 Jackasses are not the only ones who go through the nightmare The public are pranked, the cops are bothered & there are also others who get chased, attacked & embarrassed on regular occasions by the 11. Such as- Bam's parents and brother, Raab-Himself, Spike Jonze (creator) Jeff Tremaine (creator), Dimitry Elyashkevich (camera), Knate (camera) & Sean Cliver (producer)
The show rules the minds of kids & adults alike, watched to entertain the show is hugely popular.
You've met the members & crew, & hopefully you are dedictaed to the show, but if not you MUST see them in action. And why stop at the TV show, if you have seen every episode (like me) then try the film which is already out in America & will be out in UK next January.
But along with good news of the film comes bad news, the cast have agreed that they are not going to create a new series for TV & have decided 'we have taken it as far as we can on TV'- quote Johnny Knoxville 2002.
But it doesn't end at 'Jackass; the movie' there are always interviews, & individual performances to look forward to- Johnny Knoxville appears as a 2 headed alien in 'Men In Black II' alongside stars Will Smith & Tommy Lee Jones. And it isn't only Johnny- Bam Margera continues to film, direct & write his own videos as he follows 'CkY', 'CkY2k' & 'CkY 3' with 'You're pathetic Life' a film about Ryan Dunn. He also continues his almightny skateboarding career & goes on tour with Tony Hawk again. Steve-O is also in a creating phase as he releases his video 'Don't try This At Home'- stupid stunts with Steve-O & the rest of the 'Jackass' members.
So, for whatever reason you enjoy the show, just make you don't miss a single episode & make sure you catch the mad, idiotic, brilliant, loveable stars of the TV's masterpiece 'Jackass'.
